Yay it's Dead Day!!! (AKA Academic Preparation Day) So there aren't any classes today. I took an early "final" today, and then went to the "party" at my job. It was interesting enough. They had some good food (lasagna, etc.) and we watched Elf. Elf is like the bomb! If you haven't seen it you need to soon. Anyway, I'm just waiting for some more people to get on an IM...and my dad is in town so he might come around in a bit. Dangit, I have to study for the Religion "final" tomorrow. It's like a regular test, I think, so it shouldn't be too bad, but I still need to study....ttyl!!!

BTW, I have an on-campus job and that's why they had a party.

Gibby, there's a picture for you. Knife hand strike or Shuti-uke. It's a two step kihone (i drew both, one is the smaller kitty), and it's my fav. It's really fun, but it's also tough to learn and get used to; you move in kokustadachi always for this one, and your feet are 90 degrees to each other if you draw a line from heel to heel.

Nitafan, *huggles again,* and the chat is this Saturday. Heh, I don't see why parents freak out over this so much. My mom did too, even when I told her no one asked for personal information or gave out any (maybe I give out less than everyone else, but nevermind that...m ). Mom didn't start to okay it until I told her about the different people in different countries, and then she thought it was cool.

I got through with my Religion final, and it wasn't really that bad. I did it (4 pages) in 40 minutes. Actually, a little less b/c I sat there and looked it over for awhile. I'm going to be so bored until tuesday...I'm even going to self-defense this afternoon even though I don't have to. I have 2 finals on tuesday: math in the morning (I'm not going to study until saturday) and then self-defense in the afternoon. The SD final will be cool b/c I get to beat up the teacher in his padded suit. Saturday is actually going to be busy though...I have work in the morning, then a lunch break, then DD chat, then I have a study group for the math final. I get to go home on Wednesday! My dad's driving me home this time, and he's taking me to see the Opryland Hotel, which will be decked out with Christmas stuff!!! It should be fun, as long as I remember to wear the right shoes (it's a LOT of walking). If I get home before like...6 or so, I get to go to my sister's work (the bank) and watch tv for awhile. My mom hates my dad and won't let him get near her house, so he would have to drop me off down the street and since I have a lot of stuff my sis would have to pic me up, and if it's not in the evening I have to go to her work...that's kind of confusing, isn't it? Anyway, I'm bored as heck...I'm going to go take a nap in a bit.

But they were shelved in general SF when I bought the first four; and the others have had to come from a specialist bookshop like Forbidden Planet, or Amazon.

Shopping for Christmas presents, I saw a hardcover book by Micheal Critchton. Gah... suddenly I can't remember his last name.

It always makes me feel great to be active, and I hate being a slug.

Karate is leaking into my life. I was walking through the mall doing a half-knife hand strike and chudon uche.

Now I like the Foo Fighters. Mom also let me listen to The Pixies and Xymox, but I didn't like either; my mom has an insane number of CDs, and Buck Whiley envies her. As a Christmas gift, my brother should probably get him Pink Floyde if it's cheap enough. Buck has been wanting that.

Btw, newbies, Buck Whiley is nicknamed after his Buck Whiley the Smiley rap.

I have more Cross to add. The character I'll jump to this time is Liselle. Next bit will be another character jump instead of going back to Riou again; I have more to write about before I continue with her.

CW assignment: pick 15 words from the dictionary, write a poem using at least 10 of those 15 words. Then write a story off the poem.

2nd try makes a lot more sense. I started writing out my ideas, and it turned into something that could be a real 600 words plus story.

This is Skittle's first Christmas. He was fascinated by the ornaments, but he's eating the tree. Silly cat. And he's getting fatter. Today he ran out of cat food and started yowling until I gave him some. Poor cat, but I only gave him a little. He eats too much.

You guys have trees already?! No fair. . .we always have to wait until waaayy late get one. But this year we might be getting one this weekend.

As a random bit of information, I desperately need a new bulletin board. I have so much stuff on my old one, you can't even tell it's a bulletin board anymore, let alone see the little fishies around the edges. (It's from when I was really little, okay?) Needless to say, I've run out of pushpins and thumbtacks and have started to use tape. Let's just hope I can get everything off when I need to rearange it again (Recently added a fanart of Sker'ret and Filif, and had to make room so you could actually see it).

Interesting poem thing, Gryph. Not sure if I want to hear the story though, after last time. . .
