Also, an update un my life:

    • OMgoodness. Okay, that guy I was talking about? Well, he's scary. And he flirts outrageously, says things that I'm supposedly too naive to know and... Oh my. *wails* And he knows where I live!! I'm scared right now. And he was talking about his friend who... I'm not going to repeat it. It wasn't funny. At all.

Well, we did the math and science and bible and spelling testings today. *snore* The science was hard, and the Bible was fairly stupid at times.

I have 1 Peter 3:4 for my status on Yahoo. "Instead, it should come from your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight." Wow. I think I actually got it word for word. Anyways, we have to write our "testimonies" in Bible class. Like most 8th graders even have anything big... It's beyond me why we have to do this. And, we have to give a speech thing on it. *sigh*

I used bad sentence structure. Tsk tsk... All the "and"s. Anyways, I must depart now. Toodles! *huggles to all*

Tui: Ha, I love teh math jokes too...I made an avatar that had a non-removable discontinuity graph on it a while back. Of course, nobody on the board got it, but they already knew I was a nerd.

Gryph: I...think it's me. ^_^ Going to check stuff out now.

          • Kaiba: I don't like math. At all. It hurts my head. I'm in Algebra 1 right now, and we're doing things I don't understand. *sigh*

So, in case you were wondering, NO, it is not a good thing that this guy is following me. I find it really creepy right now, especially after what he said... Oh, and flattery got him nowhere.

Sorry. I've been really selfish and talking only about my own issues.

Lovey: *tacklehugs* Heyy! Why didn't you tell me earlier? That's uber cool, yo.

Uh-oh. I'm not supposed to be on the computer. This was a really short post... Anyways, toodles!

            • Uh...I'm only in calculus 2, but I offer what help I can...I really love math. Um. A lot.
kaiba4ever: Why do you hate math? Once you get the basic principles it comes together beautifully. Think through it logically, get it to make sense. Everything does if you go over it carefully.
Angel_Star: Algebra 1 is pretty crucial. That's where math really started getting good for me. What are you doing?

              • Well, G'day mates. I haven't been around here for a while. I've had soo much work to do uni wise and such. I have just nearly finished my maths assignment, so I am taking a break while the Simpsons is on - and besides I need to ask one of the tutors something before I can finish it off. I have missed about six pages of the TOGR, but I can't be bothered catching up.

Well, my life is good at the moment. I had my first uni test today. In earth science. It wasn't too bad. One guy must have either totally screwed it up or studied harder than it is really possible to, because he left like five minutes after we had started. Although, I guess I could have done the same, had I actually studied a little bit, but there is very little incentive to study when you've already done the subject for two years. I did a little bit of reading, but other than that I didn't do anything.

My other subjects aren't too bad. I'm starting to get into the swing of things in physics and chemistry is .. bearable I guess. The pracs are getting better now that I've got the computer one out of the way.

Socialwise at uni, everything is great. I have a group of about 10 or so friends and then they have other people who meet them for lunch and then the group expands. At one stage, one of the girls thought that she was only meeting three others for lunch and got a small table in the refec. We ended up with eight people around it ... we now always go for the bigger tables. Three of us think that we should sit in the great court (big grassy area in the middle of some very pretty sandstone buildings), but the others don't like the idea, because then we don't get a table.

MedSoc is good too . We've started preparing for the Brisbane Medieval Faire and we're doing singing and that. We've also plotted to turn the uni into our castle. We decided that the buildings of the great court can form the inner walls, because its like eight large sandstone buildings joined together, which would make a really good wall, and its also on a rise. hehe. Not to mention that we're already surrounded by the river on two sides cos it sort of bends back on itself. We all thought it was a brilliant idea.

Well... I don't really know what else to say at the moment. I should be around this weekend. Oh yeah. While searching to find out whether the two-disc edition of PotO is being released here, I discovered this enjoy!

and on The subject of Math: meh. i used to hate it but Algebra is okay once i actually figured out what i was doing. So now I like it and actually got some good grades :-O but then i failed a quiz so i have to go to a tutor once a week. meh.
haha, does anyone remember the battle against Math from the War topic....like, a long time ago?? it involved golden calculators and....i think a sandwich but i don't remember what the sandwich had to do with anything....:-P
                  <3
oh yeah, and does anyone have any good recipes that they have nutrition facts for?? I have to do this project for tech/f+c science. If y do that would be rad.

                      • I didn't think heritage day was going to be anything. I mean, some people came in with other culture's clothes, but that's all I thought it would be. It was a lot cooler. Some people went from class to class like a group of Indian (Indian from India, not Native American Indians) highschoolers who danced and sung, along with this other girl. It was really cool. We actually got them to kill time ALL Spanish people too. And another group came through my history class.

Really Angel, if what he talks about makes you feel uncomfortable, don't think you're supposed to fit in and accept it like it's normal. I'd tell you to punch him, but I'll have to leave that to Lovey to do. XD

Gentle and quiet spirits are the slaves of the world.

(I saw people supporting it a few posts back and thought, what the heck?!)
Heh. I think math is brilliant, but was made by guys on drugs. Kaibish, post some of your homework problems here ((best because other people can comment on them too)) or e-mail them to me. I can help you think through them.

What I need help in is chem. I'm gonna keep taking my book home because NO ONE knows how to do anything, and the teacher never teaches. We just had this lab, and we had no idea how to answer any of the questions. Maybe the teacher should be taking the hint that it's not a student's fault when THE ENTIRE CLASS has to put their heads together, and we don't get ANY OF IT. So yeah. I don't know how to name any of the stuff, I don't know how to do the... I don't even know what we were doing! And history is driving me mad. Just about every other test, I flip between mindsets. Either it's "there's no way I could possibly learn all of this so I'll just not worry about it and take the test. I'll get what I get," and, "I'll study, I'll make notes on chapters, and I'll do great."

Anywho...so I was talking to our friend Andy. He's really sweet and mellow, but he's also tall and intimidating if you don't know him. He says we should hols an "emergency band meeting" at Angel's house, and when the pervertito sanguinario shows up...he could open the door and be all...'hey...we were just practicing our swordfighting' hehe...Andy rocks.

Today's song: Another Flogging Molly. Kerry is burning me the new CD. He showed me the lyrics today and I thought these were particularily deep.

E: Yeah, heyyy... that's a lot of work. Our homework is imaginary.
                                T: What does "i" mean?
E: Square root of negative one.
                                T: Yeah.
E: I got it right. Can I have a cookie?
                                T: ...
E: No, no, can I have a unicorn? It's imaginary!

"Stuff like that happens to other people." Right? No, I understand what you meant about the verse. XD I just felt like saying something because it was a little contradictory. Hehe, I'm glad you have a lot of friends sticking up for you.
