Twilight and New Moon....Anyone read them?

I'm pretty sure that the movie is only going to be the first book. At least I really hope so. The last movie that I saw that combined three books was really bad. I mean, it's not like there's not enough information. From what I understook on IMDb, it's only about the first book.

Nicely said, YR. It's pretty much that boys tend to get possessive over girls, haha (this much I know from my (guy) friend K, :P) And I've seen it, anyway.

So, do I like Jake? Yeah, I do a lot. I love Edward, he is mine, but if I couldn't have Edward I'd settle for Jake. He's just a normal guy, but at the same time...not. He's what you would really want in a guy -- not afraid to have fun every now and then, but is really a loving guy. He's one of my favorite characters!

(But then again, that really holds no sway, they're all my favorite characters haha)

And, as far as I know, it'll only be the first book for the movie. And you all know what that means....

SEQUELS!!! :P

I agree with YR.
I believe all parties were at fault. Even Bella. But what are you going to do when you are in love with two people? Someone s pound to get hurt.

I believe it was very mature of Edward and Jake to take it the way they did. Making it a battle to win Bella, rather then taking it out on her. They are both deeply in love with her and don't want to hurt her any more then they already had.

Is there going to be a 4th book? I heard that somewhere but i wasn't sure. I really hope there is.

Yes, there's going to be a fourth book. It's called Breaking Dawn, and the release date is August 2, 2008. Can't wait!

I think there's going to be more than four...at least, i hope so. If not, i'll wait for a new series to come up.

I'm not sure if it was exactly mature of them, but i suppose it wasn't really as immiture as it could have been. And it's the most that can ever be expected from anyone, when they're going after someone they love...
And doing things like this isn't just a guy thing. How many of you can honestly say that if you loved someone, with all your heart, you would do any less then Jacob or Edward has done in order to win them? If you didn't do it, you probably always wonder if you could have just done a little bit more, and won their love.

I think she might start up on Edward's POV soon. Midnight Sun is the first book. Or maybe it's the only book, but it's just his POV on when they first met.. basically his take on Twilight. Should be interesting when she finishes it. I like the first chapter so far.

I read the first chapter of Midnight Sun, but i didn't realize that she would be making it into a book on Edwards POV. That would be an awesome read to read everything that goes threw his head will shine some light on a lot of things. Like him following Bella, Jess, and Ang to Port Angelas. Or what Bella said in her sleep when he watched her at night.

Sounds creepy but i totally love Bella and Edward together.

Stephenie Meyer has only sold the movie rights for Twilight. Which means that we will only get a sequel if Twilight does well enough. but the movie will only be Twilight.

There are only supposed to be four books. Breaking Dawn will be the last one, so it should tie everything up.

Stephenie Meyer is only going to write Twilight from Edward's point of view. She's not going to do any of the others (at least, that's her plan).

In the interview with Stephenie meyer, she said breaking down will wrap up Bella's story, so its possible she might write about one of the other characters like Jacob Black.

Unless, of course, she puts bella and jake together in the last book then we probably wont hear anything further probably... maybe? haha i dont know.

please people. the book IS called breaking dawn. it's going to be the start of Bella's new life of a vampire. sometimes... think about this. it takes what? two years to produce a movie? by the time eclipse comes out that's going to be about 6 years in the future. who's going to even WANT to see it? they'll all be like, eclipse what? stephanie who? sorry but that's the truth of the matter.

I don't think so. Even if they don't remember the books, they will rmemeber the movies that came before it, or at least the most recent one. Otherwise, how would ANY series of movies be made? You're logic doesn't work!

And Bella can be effected by Alice too. They said it was her mind that was uneffected, only...so maybe she'll develop powers of the mind. Maybe all the things the others can do with their minds combined.

Or they can just do what they did with Lord Of The Rings and film all three around the same time. Haha, that would be chaotic. I'm surprised on how fast Twilight is going to be put out in to theaters. I mean they just started filming in February. That's got to be some quick editing skills, or maybe less CG. I don't know but I'm curious to find out how it's going to be.

But I really hope they make more than just one movie!!

Well, in an interview with the actress playing Victoria, she said one of her favorite parts of filming was using something called "the magic carpet" that makes the special effects for the vampires super-speed. I thought that sounded pretty awesome!
