  • Math, math, is no fun. Math, math, hurts someone... *snort* Hurts my head, is what it does. *backs away from Geometry homework* He usually doesn't give us much homework, but he decided to actually give us a decent amount for tonight. I liked my Algebra teacher's philosophy: If you don't finish in an hour, we'll finish it in class. But alas, my geometry teacher is insane. He's like 89...well, that's what Mr. C jokingly says. I think he's really 67 or something, but still. Anyways, he uses powerpoints for EVERYTHING and amazes us with the slide transitions and his little animations. He doesn't teach. He uses whatever's in the book. Oh, and he plays music rather loudly, and he's got surround sound in the room. The other teachers get mad at his music sometimes. Hehe. Everything was fairly easy in his class until recently. Now I actually have to spend some time with it. Drat.

I'm hosting "the posse"'s Bible study/praise and worship at my house this Friday. I think my mum will go insane with all the people here, but she volunteered. My mommy is awesome! I really hope that we get some nice weather so we can do it outside and not be cooped up in the basement. It'll be our second one...the first was at the twins' house way out in the middle of nowhere.

Well, I better go finish that geometry I've been putting off and practice my flute, considering that my solo for KMEA is Saturday. *grimace*

    Edit: I feel like I killed it. Nobody's posted...hehe.

Well, we're not going to KMEA because the people didn't put us in. Apparently the guy who was doing our transfer (we switched districts) had to retire, but never gave the new person our info. So, we never got put in the schedule. This is LOVELY to find out less than a week before we thought we were going to be judged. So, I've spent all this time working on it for absolutely nothing. Oh, W wants to have a recital thing, but I AM NOT doing that.

My little complaint of the day.

I'm FREEEEEEEE... Freee fallin... Sorry, it's playing in the background. My puppy dog (I definitely just spelled that "dawg") is barking. I think I shall go see what she is barking at. Then I think I shall actually do my homework. Toodles!

    • So one day i was soo bored (no books to read) i decided to type out googolplex on my computer you know 10^(10^100)
1 followed by googol zeros. Well so i made up this way to do it

well i said it has to go instages one for each level going up from 0 number one in googol to zero number 100

So level one is 10 zeros
level 2 is 90 zeros (to make it 100 zeros)
      3 is 900 (1000 zeros total)
      4 is 9000
      5 is 90000
      6 is 900000
      7 is 9000000
and on and on each time getting higher and higher.

So i started. Kept going till i realized i might crash my computer. when i was done i had 10,000,000 zeros at point 2 size font taking up 50 pages in microsoft word with no margins. (1802 pages in size 12)

Only a couple of days later did i learns (from wikipedia) that writting out googolplex will take up more than the prospective size of the universe. OUCH what a waste

      • Guesswhatguesswhatguesswhatguesswhat!? I got my learner's permit, and I now can legally practice my driving! LOL, but it's so much fun! I drove the minivan today with Dad, because I had time before track, and it was AWESOME! Of course, I almost ran into a tree, and into the new air conditioning unit in the parking lot of the church I was practicing in. Fun stuff...I really like driving. On the other hand, driver's ed is the most boring thing in the world. Four hours a day is really too long to expect high school students to listen to an old man lecture on the dangers of speeding and similar topics. Anyway.

Easter is a good holiday. Chocolate is good too...and we have so many good leftovers, I do believe I will be eating them for lunch until Friday. Very good stuff.

Ok, so...you know what? I'm supposed to be on spring break, right? It doesn't feel like spring break; I'm sitting in my high school for 4 hours a day at driver's ed, then at 3 I go back to school for track, and in the hours between 12 and 3, I have various things to do (like today, I got my permit validated. Yesterday, I did homework. Tomorrow, I have to go get orthotics for my running shoes so I can run again.) I haven't really had any time to hang out with my friends at all! And we're leaving for a trip from Thursday until Saturday...so I can't see them then, and on Sunday I have to go do homework. It sort of sucks. So...yes. I'm a bit busy...probably will see you all next week sometime! Maybe...I'm just really busy now, and I'm going to be spending lots of time in the car now! I really do like driving...it's fun.

        • *sigh* Today is a very sad day.

Yesterday afternoon my sister's chihuahua, Gidget, had some kind of seizure. We (well not me b/c I'm not at home) took her to the animal hospital, and she died early this morning. They say that her little heart had stopped for awhile, and it damaged some of her organs...

          Rest in peace, tiny dog.

            • Aww...poor baby. *huggles Rad*

I have a Maltese, and while I call her a puppy, she's six years old. She still has the energy of a puppy, though. Sara's one crazy little ball of fluff.

See? Well, anyways. I keep falling asleep. I need to learn how to get to bed on time. I think I'm going to try to go to bed around ten 'cause I'm just exhausted. *yawn* Meh. Well, I should probably practice my flute. I acutally didn't have homework tonight besides that. Well, toodles. I probably won't be posting for a while because I'll have to be getting ready for the thing Friday and all that jazz. And sleeping...hehe.

                  • My dad goes by a rule that our house will only raise children; no pets.

I think that rule's hogwash and I intend on getting a veritable menagerie when I settle somewhere.

                    I want a Ponch, a Peach, and a kitten.

Sheesh... I couldn't get back yesterday (helping my dad in the garden-Earth Day fun!) And so... Now it's no longer Earth Day. I hate polllution, progress, and anything else that hurts animals. Speaking of, I think I'm finally convincing my parents to let me be a vegetarian! I love Earth Day, helping the planet, etc. *mumbles*Even though, with what people are doing, one day might not make a difference... Anyway, Earth Day is the best. Ever.

Mel~ On Friday, someone told me that I'm doing 8th grade math-not 7th. But, I'm not so sure I believe him... (not a very reliable source) So, I think I'm still doing 7th. I should ask my teacher...

A Ponch, a Peach, and a kitten? Haha, way to go with that one. What was the kitten from A Wizard Abroad? Like Tilula or something a long those lines. It would have made the post perfect if you had used her name instead of saying "Kitten", or at least I would have been incredably ammused.

                        HAPPY EARTH DAY!

                        • Yes, the little kitten's name is Tualha, I would guess she was named after the Tuatha de Dannan...

I wish I could have a cat. Stupid allergies. Mom won't even let me get an interesting pet. I am begging her to let me get a bird or a chameleon or a mouse or something, but we're just stuck with Harriet my brother's tarantula. He's taking her back as soon as he finishes college, though. The only time she actually moves is when she's eating a cricket. And then it's not even cool, it's just really gross. When I get a house of my own, I'm getting a dog, a bird, a rodent, and a reptile, and what the heck, my allergies aren't that bad, I'm getting a cat, too.

                          • Amusingly enough, Alu and Ariel, that was exactly who I was thinking of.

Stupid me just couldn't get her name out. I was thinking of putting down the cat-bard, but it sounded worse than kitten.

A Ponch, A Peach, and A Tualha, satisfied?

                              And yes, I am satisfied.

                              • Ok, if any of you ever go to the Smithsonian American History Museum in Washington, D.C., watch out for the steps in the front. They are...well, let's say that when they are wet, you should not wear flip-flops on them. See, yesterday I was in Washington, D.C. with my family on a road trip-ish thing, and I was wearing flip-flops because I have a bad blister from my running shoes. Then, I started to walk down the steps, and my feet seriously just flew out from under me, and I landed hard on my butt and left elbow in front of a group of four year olds. So...yes. It's sort of funny when I'm looking back on it, except for the part where I screamed an obsenity at my dad because it sort of hurt...lol. Wow, this has been a strange spring break.

And I've been driving! I got my permit validated, and now I can drive, and...yeah. Can't believe I have to go back to school tomorrow.
