My favorite are the Wildmage Quartet. I love her. She's one of my favorite authors, right up there with Diane Duane and Anne McCaffrey.

I just finished Beka Cooper! It was good! The journal format was cool... I've read all the novels she has out, but only one of the short stories. I can't seem to find most of the others.

Yeah, I just finished Terrier too. I loved it! Second only to Protector of the Small quartet. I've read most of the others, except the Circle of Magic quartet.

the book i read was awesome it was beka cooper and it was written like a diary. it might have been a little boring in the begining but it catured my attention throught the rest of the book.

I read Terrier (Beka Cooker) right when it came out, and I think it's one of the lesser of her Tortall books. I think it would have been significantly better if it had just been a first-person book, without the attempt at making it a journal.

I like Terrier pretty well. I haven't read much besides it by Tamora Peirce in a while, so I can't remember well enough to compare it, but I didn't notice that the diary form made it worse. It didn't draw attention away from anything, but then again it didn't add much either, so maybe it would have been better as just first person. I think Tamora Pierce has just been doing the same style of books for so long that she probably wanted to try something new.

tamora pierce is great! my favorite series are the immortals one. i also love kel, i know just how she feels being so tall.

if people make fun of you for reading too much, that's their problem. they're just insecure about something, so they make fun of anyone else.

i've read some of her books. Their not great, if you ask me. Good, even better than average, but not great. (I love being a critic! ; )~) (oh, ; )~ is a smiley that I made. It means "winking smiley with snake tongue" or "synical grin with wink".)
I can create a world, out of letters and words. I can make you believe something in a paragraph. I can make you love someone in a page. I can make you go places that don't exist in a book. That's all the magic I need. [url]http://melpomene.freeforums
