    Dai Stihó, cousin! - Introduce yourself here!

    Guys, I think it might be nice to have one single live thread where newbies can introduce themselves, rather than a proliferation of threads.

    If you're new, welcome to the boards! While you may want to lurk awhile or read the Board FAQ to see how we do things around here, you can also just jump right on in to the discussion.

    Wow, how friendly I'm Shandurai and I signed up yesterday, so would someone please tell me what some of their favorite things to do on here are? I love Diane Duane's books, she's such a great author...

      I think the most-favorite thing I get to do around here is participate in the "official" chats when Diane Duane herself drops by. These chats are held roughly once a month (as her work schedule permits), although she has been known to make surprise appearances.

        Favorite thing to do? Sit around in Chime and listen to cool people talk.

          My favourite thing to do is just socialise with everyone here, mostly in the chat, as I don't have much time to spend posting these days . Oh and <STRIKE>try to confuse people</STRIKE> whoops...

              Welcome aboard, wizardgirl06 (oo! someone else who appends a 6 after their logins!) We all love DD's books, too. Right now, I'm completely thrilled that we get to read The Big Meow it as it's being written!

                  Yup. It's the third Feline Wizards book. The website for it is here:

                  Basically, DD's going to be trying to write a chapter a month, and the book will be ten chapters long (hopefully finished by WorldCon this August). She's putting the chapters up for free about a week after the subscribers get to see it.

                    okay, um... dai everyone! i'm uchihablur! unfortunately i have only read books #1-6. stupid bookstore! anyway i have a question. where were nita and her mom at the very end of #5? Was her mom dead already? okay. i'll shut up now.

                          Umm Hi everyone Im MagikMelody. Ive read all of the Young Wizard books out so far and love them all!
