  • Hehe. I did a Netscape search for 'penguin avatar' and picked the craziest one I could find. I'm considering changing him to the far side penguin though. But I think I'll keep him.

But Alla, now you really have two foundations, the TOTWF and the AAOFEFTTOTWFC.

    I LIKE Christmas carols.

I only know one version of Away in a Manger. I know two versions of O Come all ye Faithful and two versions of O Come O Come Emmanuel though. Once in English, once in Latin. I only know the first verse of Veni Veni Emmanuel, but I can sing all four verses of Adeste Fideles.

IHADPANCAKESFORBREAKFASTWITHTOOMUCHSYRUPANDNOWI'MR EALLYINSANE!!! Need to use less caps. . .

I like the smileys!! They WILL rule the world one day!

    • Wow, I just had a random thought. What if all the book topics had alert pop-ups that said, "warning, spoiler! If you haven't read [book name] and all of the previous, you risk reading a spoiler,"? That would be so annoying! Gah.

*will refrain from using quoties as they made my last post look enourmous*

Really, Z? If your school doesn't teach languages until 9th grade, where'd you learn spanish?

*sharp inhale* I LOVE EGGNOG!!! Boo, you. Wildflower only likes eggnog.

Heh, about Joe's older brother who practices violin so much, well, he used to practice eight hours and up every day until his voilin teacher said he'd kill himself (and I'd agree with the violin teacher, yes, yes! But then... I don't have patience for any musical instruments. I can't imagine practicing one hours a day), and that he should only do four hours at the most. But then Joe's brother said that there was a noticable difference in his violin playing, and that he was falling out of practice with only four hours. So now he's at six hours and above. *headclutch*

Actually, I think at some point in the togr (gasp! wildflower who missed this...) someone named all of them. Was it Z?

Will treasure Alla's list of Japanese numbers forever... I think I might've divided some of the numbers in two and forgot the rest. I missed karate yesterday! *sniff sniff* Saturday classes are awesome.

      I want a white Christmas.

      M!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *tackle tackle huggles*

      I know... Christmas carols. ... ... ...

Ahahaha... my dad made oatcakes!!!!!!!!!! They're my fav. food in the world. Better than everything!!! Only, this time he made them with brown sugar. Still tastes good, but they taste different. Still fav

      Everyone's avie is confusing me.

      • Okay, then. I LOVE eggnog.

Yeah, Semi named all the smileys actually:

        this one is bob:

        and this is joe:

        and this is ron:

        and this is gregory:

        and this is sam:

        and this is tithonus:

But then got renamed Mr. Bobbles. and got renamed George. I like Ron better.

And YOUR avie is confusing ME. It looks funny.

        • I didn't name all of the smileys, (if that's what you're talking about.) But I did use them for awards. (don't ask.)

Snow is evil. and coldcoldcold. Don't wish for snow...you don't know what I would do for a winter that was at least 40 degrees (F) That's pretty warm, or maybe 50 degrees..or 60s!
Whoever wrote that song "I'm dreaming of a white christmas," has never lived in Minnesota. It really sucks when you have to walk through 5 miles of snow at 20 degrees every morning to get to school. Maybe I"ll try biking...

Don't get confuzzled with my avie! That's what I look like! And it has my username on it for crying out loud.
I used to have a penguin avie, he was a cutie...

I learned Spanish from a tutor I take classes with my mom and little brother. (My dad didn't want to take it he speaks about 5 languages already.) And I went to Spanish Camp. Good thing about MN (in summer) is that a lot of people put camps here because it has the *woodsy* feel. They also have Japanese, Chinese, French, Dutch, Norweigen, Scandinavian, Russian, Korean, Afrique, and a lot of other camps like that for languages...
          www.concordialanguagevillages.com
And yeah...I'm learning Japanese from a book. And websites that show me how to pronounce things...
          penguins will rule the world.

          • Snow is good. and snowsnowsnow. Wish for snow. You don't know what I would do for a winter that was at least snowy with deep snow. That's pretty cool, or maybe snow... or snow!
Whoever wrote that song "I'm dreaming of a white christmas," has never lived in Z's always burning hot insane dreamworld. It really sucks when it's so hot you spend all your summers indoor and then have to suffer through that at school with no ac. Maybe I'll try sledding...

            Hehehehe.

I love snow, and Z has never lived in Florida before.

            • Snow is the best.

With what other substance can you...
              ...make into balls and throw.
              ...roll around in.
...make a fort out of (not me personally).
...dunk other people in (occaisonally me).
              ...ski/snowboard/tobbogan down.
And anything else you can think of.

Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow.

              • Snow is NOT evil Z! I LIKE snow!! I LOVE snow! *Wishes for snow*

                SLEDDING! Funfunfunfunfunfun. . .

I used to live in Florida. We moved though. My dad's in the military, we didn't WANT to move.

We spent the winter in upstate New York once. That was fun, we got like four feet of snow. We still have a house there and we go for the summers.

Hehehehe. Gryph, weren't you the one that named Mr. Bobbles?

Z!! Penguin! Yay!! You need to get him back!
I have named my penguin Ralph. Or Larry. I'm having trouble deciding. Everyone needs to name their avies! Except Crookedfrog, because Mutch already has a name. And PPC's avie is the KBA.

Sunstar made a foundation! I love your foundation.

                • Mom: AHHHHHHHH!!!

The cats have sat on her jigsaw puzzle, they've rolled on it, splept on it, charged through it, chewed on it, shoved it off a table, and now one of the kitties has puked on it.

It's funny, actually. They love the puzzle and the smooth board it's on top of. Everything they do eventually leads there, and there's nothing you can do to keep them off; they'll walk right back to the puzzle.

We've built tunnels in snow, and sledding in it is awesome. It's also funny to watch Sparkle pad over the top of two feet deep snow without a paw dropping more than an inch below the surface. If you're absolutely set against snow (like our friend, Z, here), put syrup on it and eat it to make it dissapear faster.

wildflower: I might've, but I don't think so. Bob sounds like me, and so does the les on the end, but I'm not sure that I put the two together. Les is also Z's thing. (By les, I mean huggles, buggles, fuzzles, and so on)

*eyes Sunstar's siggy* You have nine lines on your siggy; the max is eight. ((Or was it four?))

SAND! you can do all that in sand... Its a little more labour-intensive, but it can still be done. Or you could do it in water, cept the fort would have to be made out of ice - like an igloo, and you would make balls out of is as water bombs . Oh yeah and the equivalent of snowboarding on water would be either wakeboarding bodyboarding or surfing

AHHH!!! Bloody Kookaburras! They keep laughing at dawn, which is now at about 4:40 AM! AHHHHHH!!! The little ones have hatched though, but I haven't seen them. I'm hoping that they'll be out and about soon though.

                    • Yay! *huggles sparkles* I'm a summer person...

I only enjoy snow when it's deep like that but lately, (if we even get snow,) it's been very shallow and now very deep at all, or at least not deep enough to sled and build tunnels. But for all you people in warm islandish touristy places call me and you can have the snow while I'll take the sun. *Deal?*

Hehehe. *Hands Z vacation to Florida* Wheee. . .SNOW!

I've tried doing all that in sand. Doesn't work.

Oh, no. I remember reading way back in the TOGR when you guys were using Bloody kookaburras as a swear word. Well actually two words but oh well. Eeee.

I know one is a club but they're still basically the same thing.

                            • Snow is good! I lovelovelovelovelovelovelove snow! Cold is also good. I love cold. Cold is good. Snow is good. Winter is good. Fall is good. Yay! (Can you tell I'm not a heat person?)

Wow. All these things from TTOGR past...maybe I'll go dredge something up, just for the heck of it.

*winces* OUCH. I just found the time when I yelled and Gryph and BIW because someone dissed a book or something and it was bad...yikes. Okay, going to find something more pleasant.

*laugh* Okay, here's something Diego said:
I hate penguins. They're big eyes...just makes you wanna....wanna....wanna...wanna STAB'EM OUT!! THE *******' PENGUINS!! I'M GOING TO POP YOUR EYE OUT AND THEN I'M GONNA EAT IT, SON OF SATAN!!! AHHHHHHHHRGH!!!ARGH!!ARGH!!!
                              *dies laughing* Okay, more:

Back for a sec. Gryph just called Diego Diegowts. On page 162! *shakes head* That seems like a very very long time ago.

Something Tui said exactly one year ago (page 79. Wow. This topic has grown a lot in a year):
Heh, 'cello busking is good- having to lug a cello around is worse than a violin, though (but nowhere near as bad as, oh.... a tuba.... )
And something I said a couple posts down from that:
Do the rest of you realize we would have been at NINETY pages right now if those ten hadn't gotten deleted??? WOW.
Ha. And I thought THAT was big.

                              From the VERY distant past:
Yep. The only topic that's even close to this is the Coffee Shop which is.......... I think either 28 or 29 pages. It'd be scary to get to 100 pages. But Aurora says that on other forums 50 is nothing. Scary.... That makes me wonder what a lot of pages is....
That was M. *laugh* Wow. It's funny to read these pages where we thought we had so many pages...that was page 39.

Okay, got to go...it's also fun because when you go back far enough people still have the sigs that they had at that time...I saw some good old ones people had.
                              *Ella*

That's less than one tenth of ToGR.
Eventually, if things continue as they have recently, ToGR will have more posts than the entire Chatter II forum.
