Link is from the vidio game Zelda. he is a copy of the original Link, so you could still play the vidio game. we finally hooked the nintendo 64 back into the extra tv so i could return him back to the game.he can turn ages, and his favorite,and most anoying,age is 8. his other favorite age is 12.sorry to confuse you. now i have my own body back. It seems to be it's different in every book because the oath is slightly different for every user. Certainly by species, as the cats and Ith have shown, but also for different humans as well. It is no spoiler for a Wizard Alone to say that the Oath therein was uniquely adapted to the needs of that particular human wizard...

I have never read it *aloud*- but I have read it on the page with a certain intent. I always get a tingle/shiver when I do...

Yeah, I agree... also, the Oath means different things to different people, and I'd imagine that it words accordingly. Really, it's a bit like the Speech; as Nita says in Alone, "it's alive... the language of Life Itself." Well, the Oath can be viewed, in a way, as Life's Mission Statement- so why shouldn't it change, too?

I guess that's a good way to put it. Consider the ritual Rhiow does every morning. How's it go? Anyway, it's asserting that you will keep a promise, or you will strive to acheive a goal.

Now, with Wizardry, a mission statement I can see making sense. At least, how they phrase it. With businesses... Well.

Ok, I have a rather long story to tell, maybe I"ll post it later. I have read the oath from sywtbaw several times, and it didn't work. I noticed in the wizard's dilemma it's longer and different. Maybe someone could ask DD if she can post the whole oath? I was a wizard once upon a time...but I'll tell that story later.
