I read the oath once and messed it up though. Since I read it when every one was sleeping it was extremely quiet (the silence was scaring me). Maybe you have to read it perfectly...or maybe I read the wrong version. Doesn't it change throughout the books? I read the one in SYWTBAW. I've got the feeling I'm going to end up trying it again tonight after reading this post lol
