And the virtual food is even better. Like, sometimes plates of virtual choco-chip cookies, or pitchers of lemonade get passed around. The best food that has been given to a newbie, in my opinion, is when someone started handing out virtual raspberry juice, and other things made from raspberries.

Greetings, all. I found DD's books a few years back and was immediately captivated. I've loved them all.

A couple years ago, awaiting book 7 of Harry Potter, I got myself a lathe and began turning magic wands for all my HP friends. To date, I've turned and have had adopted over 300 wands - all but 2 of which went to adults! I'm spending Christmas day turning like mad, because I have an order for 42 wands to fill by the end of January - and I still love every minute of it.

Meanwhile, I'm working on enticing my daughters into reading DD's books, which I think they would really love.
