    • sorry about that, he is the first _European Explorer_ to see the Pacific ocean, someone else sailed it. The Magellan strait is named after him.

Who knows what ethnicity people on here are, and on that note, what doees it matter?

Oh well, we are just curious, I guess. yeah, I am Asian, I have long dark brown but almost black hair with red (which faded to orange) highlights. I have really dark skin, but it's been discolored since I moved to Washington. Probably because it rains too much. Bloody hell (I like that word because of the Rupertness) , it's raining right now! seriously.

      • It has been raining her for the last 3 weeks! I am Latina, half anyways. My mom is from Cost Rica, my dad, Arkansas. I was born here, though. I have shoulder length almost black hair and I just look like I have been in the sun for a while. Not exacly a tan but, less than most people here, if that makes sense.

WHAT??? I'd say not. I'm a bit of Welsh, I think. Just so you know, I have no idea what Welsh is, 'cept for a thing and grape jelly, but enough of that. I'm also related to some English king, like M and a lot of other people I know. A TON of people I know.

Wasn't Magellan the dued who sailed around the world or something like that? In four years? Or at least his crew; I think he got killed somewhere along the way... Help! Gryph is having a history crisis.

Ron uses brilliant a lot in the movie. I do too, though not in the same way. I'm always sarcastic when I saw brilliant.

                • Gryphon Makes Peace

Okay, okay, okay. I've been really stressed, yes over summer, and it feels like everyone is yelling at me, which they are. And I'm not talking about you guys. I'm really sorry that I started to take some of it out on you guys. When I'm really POed, it works its way into my posts.

Haha... The true/false question. Accelerate, accelerate!!!

Poor thing. Dentists commit suicide the most. Why? Cuz they feel like everyone hates them.

Now I'll tell a bit of my vacation.

It was a long, very very very long drive that took a very long time. Me and my brother (my brother and I) were sitting in the back seat, watching The Two Towers (which is the best movie ever!!! Well, the first Matrix is better...) when mom popped in a book tape. Evidentally it was something we weren't supposed to listen to. We were giggling madly when it started cussing (hehe... immature Gryph).

"Put your headphones on! Turn them up!"

Hehe. My headphones were on, and if they were any higher, they'd blast my ears out. I was battling with the noisy wind from the windows already. And still I could hear the booktape; it was louder than the movie. So no chance of us NOT hearing the booktape.

We were camping with two other groups who we camped with two years ago. Woulda last year, but everyone got lots on the campground too late.

We unpacked. I took Mr. Buggles and Fuzzbuzz out of the car. They had to come because no one still at home would care for them. I don't see why! They're nice caterpillars. But when I lifted the lid, I saw that Mr. Buggles had turned grayish. He was moving around a lot and pretty fast considering how he'd barely moved at all before now. Also, when he moved around, it looked like he was breaking into bits with cracks. Maybe he was getting ready for a cacoon? Hopefully he wasn't sick. Fuzzbuzz wasn't doing very much, being his everyday caterpillar self. I gathered a few pine sticks that branched off a lot and put them in Mr. Buggles cage until I could find one that stood up on it's own and wasn't too high to put the lid back on. He didn't have anythng else besides those sticks to hang a cacoon from. Mom looked in on them. She said something about maybe Mr. Buggles wasn't a horn worm after all. I dunno if that was because he had turned grey and didn't look like one because of that or what.

I asked mom where the bathrooms were. She pointed off in one direction and I biked that way. Just about everyone traveled around the campsite by bike. Well, I got really really far and had been biking for a long time, when I decided that maybe this wasn't the right way afterall. So I turned around and when back to ourn lot.

"Oh yeah, it's two lots down that way," mom said. She pointed in the opposite direction from where I had gone.

*grumbles* Two lots is a very short distance. But I had traveled 20 lots in the wrong way. *grumbles again* I didn't think it was funny. I went to the bathrooms and rinsed my hands from pine sap (just about every tree is a pine tree!).

After that, lil bro, two girls that were camping with us (one lil bro's age and the other younger), and I all went biking on a bike trail. At the very start, there were a lot of drops... so much fun! The first drop was really steep, then the ground was flat, thena nother drop, flat, and so on. I didn't slow down at all.

Later we came back to the bike trail again, and after that we built a campfire. Lil bro and one of the girls were tossing in wood and newspaper. The newspaper launched into flame right away. I jsut sat back and watched the fire. So neat. Then marshmallows! Mmmm.... S'mores!!! Chocolate, gram crackers, and marshmallows are very very good, just not together. Too messy. So good anyway!!!

I'll do day two later. I probably won't have enough time today.

I've never tried booktapes before. Maybe I should...
I've never gone camping before too. I don't understand what's so fun about sleeping outside. It seems like military camp or something. (But biking seemed fun. Imagine going back UP those drops.)

I'm getting my permit when I'm 15 and my license when I'm 16 and that's final. I'm not really looking forward to the tests from what FW says though.....
Ooh! Gryphon tell us if Mr.Buggles starts to make a cocoon, or did he already? Hope he's not sick.... That'd be bad

My parent's are starting to teach me how to drive and I am only 13! Oh well, I like it. I just can't imagine Driving School. Sorry, FW!

I can't listen to a book tape and be satisfied. Not at all. Though after I've read a book once or twice, the book tapes are okay. Well, if the speaker is really bad, no chance. Wazziz name for the Harry Potter series is really good. 'Cept when he does girls it sounds really funny.

Mr. Buggles is okay. Second day I checked in on him in the morning. I couldn't find the big caterpillar anywhere in my bug cage. I lifted a leaf and heard this tearish/ripish noise. Woops. Well, Mr. Buggles had made this net around himself, almost like chain fence, and he had leaves stuck to it. So I carefully patted the leaf where it was supposed to be and decided I wouldn't check in on him again for a while. Fuzzbuzz... I couldn't tell how he was.

Ooh, I keep on getting interupted so I mine as well post this now instead of continueing.
