Good luck on your scholarship!!

kk: Yeah, There's a lot of the New Moon and Eclipse and Breaking Dawn books at my Wal-Mart as well.. there are some Twilight books there as well. Thank God. Haha

Oh and I didn't make it in the play. *sighs* Oh well. Haha. Now I have to work alot. BLAH.

Angel again: You know, surprisingly Psychology was my lowest grade last year... it's like one of the easiest classes ever and it was my lowest grade. Haha.

I really wished I joined before PM died... He seemed like someone I would really get a long with.

    • It has been a LONG time since I have posted a good random line. I must think of one now... Hmmm...Hmmm....Hmmmmmmmmm............ Oh, I know! I'll write the song that I made up as I was getting my gym clothes from my locker. I hate gym! I hate gym! Gotta hurry, get changed.I hate gym! Bananamonkeypie! Yes, randomness at its best. Okay, i think that's good for now...plus I'm at a lack of what to say, so...dai!

      • We (my marching band) had our first competition yesterday. It was soooo hot out - in the upper 80's. On top of that our uniforms are made out of wool - so it seem three-times as hot. A few people almost pasted out from being outside for 5 straigh hours in the heat of the day. I wasn't outside as lon because I was taking the ACTs. I'm really glad that I was inside for a lot of the time - the heat and I don't get along very well. By the time that I got to band, everyone was already in a bad mood, which quickly rubbed off onto me too. In the end, though, we got third place out of six - much better than we thought we would do.

I sent my first application in on friday - I was very excited. I'm glad I have that out of the way. I feel like the rest will be easy.

        • Did you ever have one of those days where you just hate the world before you're even done opening your eyelids? And as the day goes on, it just gets worse and worse and worse?

How about those days when you wake up and you hate the world before you open your eyelids and as the days goes on it just gets worse and worse and worse, until something clicks and then you suddenly see all the things you missed that day, how beautiful the world is around you, how good it is to be given the people and the places and the wind and trees and sun around you? To suddenly see every piece fall back into place?

I had one of those days today.

            • THE MOST HORRIBLE THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME! Okay, well, not -just- but a few days ago or something. The place all my websites are hosted is closing down!!! IT'S TERRIBLE! I use [used ] Matmice, because it loaded quickly, it was easy to use, and I can be fully creative on it, instead of using built-in templates like so many other free site-making sites have. Tis so sad!!! Now, the whole Matmice community is breaking apart and going to other places. Freewebs, SynthaSite, Piczo, etc. I had several panic attacks the first few days, but now it's not as bad. I must admit, I'm still kinda scared though.

              Emi: Get well soon!!!

seabiscuit1009: Very cool! And I, too, am more into Greek mythology. I have been ever since I read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, which is another of the best series' in the world, (many of which there are XD ).

kk: I've wanted to see that movie for a long time! My mom won't let me watch it though, because then my younger sister would want to watch it, and then my younger sister's younger sister would want to watch it... oh well, maybe someone here knows how that is. (Very annoying).

Haha, I just noticed this... Small talk tends to be about things like the weather, -stuff that isn't interesting- but we've been talking about weather for a while! Not just the hurricanes, those aren't anywhere near as boring (or not at all), but stuff like the temperature. Weird!

And now I can see Tuttle's post again! My computer's so evil sometimes. And other times I love it!

              DAI EVERYONE!
This is now officially my signature. I can't think of anything else... Ooh! How about "A dog ate my sig!"? XD Or is that just lame? "XD yet again"... I like that. XD !!!

              • mona: that doesn't sound like fun... even with the ACT's. How is that by the way? Is it easier than the SAT's???

Mel: Suprisingly, I understood what you meant. I get those days every now and then. It's a bit confusing at times...

HW: Thanks. I'm all better now! It's all due to your guys' best wishes. Haha.

So. Um. Delayed opening tomorrow!! Haha. I'm so happy.

Ugh, okay, so today at school we (all SENIORS) had to watch a one man show of Beowulf. Can I just say that the guy was extremely dull? Like I was hoping he was going to have massive props and what not! But no. All he did was walk side to side and talk "bard-like" about the story of Beowulf. I really think that he should have put some more action to it or something. I felt horrible because I almost fell alseep during the show.

I like the story and all, it was really interesting... we're reading it in class as well so I kind of knew what was going on. But, really, I think that was a waste of my $3.50 and time. Nobody really liked it, who was in my English class. Oh! And the guy kept slipping in and out of accents left and right. It was so weird. It would be British, and then American, and then Scottish, and then British again and then back to American. I swear I got easily distracted!!

Haha. I feel horrible for the guy though.

I haven't been able to sleep in at all for a long time, so tomorrow is going to be a blessing. Haha. I work on weekends at 6:30AM-11:30AM. So I don't really get a chance to sleep in at all...

I'm starting on application stuff for college. It's getting really stressful. Haha. I didn't think I was THAT far behind!!!

                That's all for now.

                Dai all!

                • I haven't posted here in a while...

Right now I'm in New Jersey again! I think I come here waay too much...

But today I might be going to the beach!

Awesome, right? Except, that it's freezing cold here right now! *shiver*

This was short, but I probably should go eat breakfast.

                  Dai!

Edit: Thankfully, it warmed up nicely, and the beach was kinda fun! I didn't swim, though. I just waded for a while, and then reread Twilight...

And now my mom's being annoying.

Hanna WindShadow:I am only in 5th grade this year, but I understand. My parents started homeschooling my at the beginning of second grade. Because of that (and the fact that I am only 10) I feel so lost when people start talking about school. Not that I don't like being homeschooled, I love it. I know for sure that I wouldn't have started learning Latin in 4th grade if I was in public school. I just get lost when school comes up as a topic of conversation.

                    • Daisy: my elder daughter is a 10-year-old in 5th grade this year too. :-) And, we lived in Bothell for 7 years. We drove up to Bellingham once or twice and hung out in the big field by the Sound behind the train station.

But, now we're in Maine, where they think 2000 ft. is a tall mountain....

                      • Holy (Hades), our power's back!

I think I might go deaf from the quiet that has taken the place of the generator borrowed from my friend's father across the street. The windows are closed, the Internet works, and we can wash clothes and eat ice cream again. But didja know there's actually people who live on this street? And they're nice? Before Ike I interracted with people from two households, and them just across the street. All this past week neighbors from up and down the cul-de-sac have walked up or stopped by to talk; people from the other side (who had power) offered food, ice, implements for chopping up trees, and washing machines. Such a nice feeling, all that "peace and friendship" malarky that jumped-up, big-money media and Hollywood and politicians tell us to foster.

Who knows...maybe we'll cook dinner on my mom's propane stove on the driveway tonight, for old time's sake.

I take leave. I must compose my Ode To The Internet And The Maker Thereof (which is not Al Gore). I wouldn't dedicate an ode to him for five dollars. Followed shortly by Ode To The AC And...(et cetra) and Ode To The Cable (same manner).
I choose my friends for their good looks, my acquaintances for their good characters, and my enemies for their intellects. A man cannot be too careful in the choice of his enemies. I have not got one who is a fool.--Oscar Wilde

                          • Yesterday was the first day of homeschool group! It was fun. One of the classes is robotics, which should be interesting...

Even though I'm actually taking Chemistry this year, the teacher at the homeschool group decided to teach Biology (darn it). Biology is okay, I guess...though I got some weird looks when I took notes in runic. It just helps me remember it better if it's not written in the normal alphabet...I don't really know why...

Garrett: Right behind the public safety building? Nice.

Marina: Are you going to post the 'Ode To The Internet" (and etc.) on the forums?

                            Dai, all!

                            • Marina glad to know you're okay!! That must have been interesting meeting your neighbours for the first time! Haha.

Garrett: Ice storm?!? Ugh, I don't even want to be thinking about snow yet... haha.

kk: What's runic? Sounds cool. Whatever works, works right?

Um, so last post I said I was feeling much better... but now I got sick. AGAIN. What's with this madness?!? My throat hurts, it's like burning so badly. I have a stuffy/runny nose. And a slight cough. I try not to cough as much because my throat hurts too much.

I drank tea this morning. I've been drinking lots of water, but it's making my throat hurt even worse! Eating, drinking, swallow, makes my throat hurt. This is never ending.

I blame it on the school. Seriously, if they weren't doing all that construction in my school, I doubt that anyone would be sick in my school. The whole school is practically sick. That's really sad...

My mom's the one that got me sick though.

On another note. I'm going to be participating in the Young Americans workshop in October. They're coming to my town and my Musical Theatre class and the high school and middle school choruses are going to be a part of it. We get to do a performance with them. It's going to be really exciting.

I just realized something... I've been spelling some words "British" style. Haha.

Oh well, I'll write more later... maybe. If I'm feeling up to it. Dai all.

                              • Emi: The ACT's seemed easier, but I won't know for sure until I get my scores back.

Yesterday, we had our second competition. We did a million times better, but the judges gave us a lower score. The scoring for everyone that night was wack. It was an unlucky competition because my one friends shoulder kept popping out during the performance and the foot joint of my flute fell off causing me to have to bend over and pick it up. It was very obvious.

school right now is soooooo boring. It's a miracle that I don't fall asleep in school.
