Oh, Peri....It was in no way your fault. Definately not your fault. Hey, you did you best, you were kind to him. He made his own decision. It hurts, but...That's what happened.
oh em gee. !!! I was watching that last night too!! AHHH!! whyy (boredom struck). Weeiiird. I really like the violinist, she was greeaaaaat! And the opera singer. And "Night at the Caelie" I think. That was kind of cute. And something like "Summer Roses" or something like that. That was amazing. It made me want to cry, some of them. I love Celtic tunes, they're so spirited, some soft and teary, others loud and boisterous. *huggles Celtic Woman*Perii:Oh! But speaking of amazing vocals--Celtic music! It's beautiful. I've always liked it, but last night, there was a program on mpt (hey, I was bored!) that broadcasted a show by a Celtic singing group. I think it was called Celtic Woman; A New Journey. Anyway, it was so...awesome. Really, they can sing. And they sang one of my favorite songs; Orinoco Flow, along with some others that we hear every day. They also sang some in the Celtic language (is it called Gaeylic or something? I don't remember...). A few of the dresses were lovely--just something I'd notice. I just really loved the performance in general. Yay!
But anyway. My weeks have been heeectic, hence my not being here for ages, or so it seems.
Letsee...I had three auditions this ..last week. Monday was me freaking out over the three auditions + choir at lunch (crazy), Tuesday was choir at lunch (again) and a piano audition at a highschool. I did the best I had done in a performance (two songs, scales, sight reading) and it still wasn't good enough for this ultra competative school. Craziness! But it was worth it. Wednesday was another hard day at school, then piano. Thursday was choir after school. I was exhausted so much that I fell asleep for a half an hour, then I practiced piano for a half and hour, ate dinner, and went to another audition for a piano scholarship. This didn't go as well as the other, but apparently I had a few things going for me : 1. I was at the pre-eighth thing at this HS. 2. My mom helped do the costumes for their play that year, and talked it up with a lot of people, including the principal. 3. I was wearing my favourite shirt, which had piano keys all over it. 4. Even though my audition sucked, they could hear me practicing in the other room, apparently, and thought I was good. 5. I sight read well enough.
So....Then with a lot of stress taken off my shoulders, I had yet another busybusybusy school day before going to the play auditions (HS Musical), which lasted longer than I expected. I think I did ok (I'm trying out for Kelsi Neelson). Finally on Saturday, Me and two friends went to the mall to scout out items for our basket. Every year the eighth graders split into 6 groups and make these gift baskets including like the hottest items or whatever geared to a certain age group and gender. Then, we sell tickets to the whole school for like 50 cents a ticket. The money goes to a mission South of the Rio Bravo. Then we raffle off the baskets. It's fun, even though it digs in you pocket a bit. Well anyway, we're 6-8 Grade Boys, so we're gonna get like an X Box 360 and some football stuff and candy to go with our gaming theme. So, that took all day. And now I am recooperating while trying not to get myself worked up over whether or not I got my part in the Musical. But I was seriously so exhausted last week I would come home and nap for like an hour before everything else. So, yeah.
But in other news, I got the musical scholarhip on top of an academic scholarship which brings my tuition at that one HS down to like $2,500 as compared to the $8,500 it origionally was. Which is a relief 'cause my brother is going to go to college, one is already in, and I'll be in HS. And the heat is always turned off as it is. And we're living from paycheck to paycheck as always. But this certainly helps!
OH! And my cousing had a baby!! Awww!!!!
...and my other cousing may have a broken rib and acid reflux disease.;..oh dear. We don't really know what's wrong with her yet...:\
But so now I'm going to take three insturments: piano, organ, and cello (if I go to that one highschool). Wow. I be busy.
Excellent!Cyber Mirage:
*Runs around in circles screaming* BAND CHAMPS ARE TOMMOROW!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
EDIT: ONG!!!!! 2ND PLACE!!! YAAAAY!!!!!
I completely understand. It's really odd when my piano songs are stuck in my head. It's like, uhh...I think I've been playing that one toooo much.Angel:
I've had choir songs stuck in my head all day. It's really odd to have four parts playing in your head all at once.
*wonders anxiously how Hungry did on driver's test...*
Hungry:
My dad and my brother are currently making weird faces at me from outside my second floor window-they're up on the roof putting up Christmas lights. Yes, it is dark out and they are on the roof. They are indeed crazy as anything. But I love them.
You wouldn't believe how much that sounds like my family. Seriously. Every dinner time is an adventure. As cheesy as that sounds.
Well, I think I'm done with my uber-long post. Time to watch the game!!
Later guys. It's good to be back!just let your heart take over and sign with a flourish

My family amuses me. While I was doing my homework, I heard my dad talking to my brother. "Let me tell you a story about Santa and his three wives..." Mom is rather amused by this, and says, "Santa the Polygamist?" Then later, I was asking mum if we had any desserts. She pointed out that we had ice cream. I said that I wanted to be a bit healthier. Then she said, "Put a banana in the ice cream." Hehe...so, I gave in to temptation and ate ice cream (and a banana), though I did pretty much coat it in chocolate...yummyness.
I'm getting almost bearable on piccolo.
I really should be working on homework. I fell asleep while working on my algebra...I think I need to go to bed early tonight. Aaand for some odd reason, I'm running out of things to say. Perhaps the exhausted state my brain is in cannot be as verbose as it would be if it were more rested. I think I'll go write my history essay now... *disappears in a <span class="ev_code_PURPLE">poof</span> of flower petals*<3

AH! Mel! I forgot to say it! I did pass my test, luckily, and then the next day, it snowed like crazy. I'd never driven in the snow, so I have to go out with dad and learn how to drive in the snow, which stinks. Oh well, it's ok. I still have my license somehow, even though I messed up a bit.
Ok...7 more days of school until break, 9 total until break. I can wait that long, I definitly can. Or not, since we're all going a little nuts at school right now. Does anyone know what a Florence Flask is? If you took Chemistry, you should. Anyway, one of my friends got bored in Chem today, so when the sub's back was turned, she stole a Florence Flask. Like I said, we're going a bit crazy.
Hmm...over the weekend I went to the opening retreat of this program I'm in and met some really cool people-like, I can't wait until the next day of the program. The girls were nice, and the boys were nice (and pretty cute
) and it just seems like it's going to be a cool program, which is good, since I was a bit apprehensive about it at first.
Cold...it's supposed to snow a lot again tonight. Not looking forward to that, since I still haven't really learned how to drive in the snow and if it snows I have to get a ride somehow. I'll figure it out sooner or later.
I feel like I should reply to stuff people said above me, since it's interesting, but I'm kind of being lazy and don't want to scroll upwards to see it.
I've recently developed a fondness for tea-I'm particularily fond of lemon tea and mint tea. Yum.
What else happened...Um. So...really don't remember what I was going to say. I guess I'll talk about this stuff I just got from my mom-I think it's a ploy to make me take shorter showers. It's shower gel, shampoo, and can also be bubble bath too that smells like peppermint. I think it smells good, but I wish she'd just asked me to take shorter showers-so much easier for her! Haha...oh well.

congrats on your test, seabicuit. i wish it would snow here. it snowed for the first time in a long time about three years ago, which was AWESOME!!!!!!! anyway, we are still in school until december 19. finals are in about a week and odd days. i'm totally gonna fail honors geometry. i officially do not like the person who put foreign language and math on the same day.

i hate you( not really
) two! i am in school until the 22!
And I have a final on the 20, and that's it. I only still have to go to school becuase of high school. For AVID, i have to do a piece of art from a piece of literature and have it on sale. great. Especially since my artistical side is not cooperating.
I am feeling very lonely
at my school today because almost all my friends are in relatinships except for me and ( not to sound rudeish or evil) they are ALWAYS TOGETHER!!!!
And I don't think that they want to be bothered (I mean, I wouldn't really) But I was feeling totally ignored. But I'll get over it.
I still have to do Christmas shopping.
For the following peoples: my mommy, my daddy, my sisters (2), my nephew, my brother-in-law, my friends, and this white elephant thing at school. That is everyone.
I really should get going on it but I have no moneys.
I want starbucks
. Even if I don't like coffee, I go to starbucks, like, twice a week. Bad, I know. but all I get is a grande gingerbread hot choclate. i know it sounds weird, but I like it. what I love to get when it is hot, like in the summer, is a vanilla bean with peppermint. Or caramel syrup (the sauace doesn't taste like anything).
Well, there's forums to visit, and babies to kiss.
See Ya!!
You were expecting normal? Since when?"You're so funny. Sometimes, I wish I was a little elf, so I could ride around on your shoulder all day and laugh at you." - my mom. (Yes, she honestly told me that. *rolls eyes*)

TWO FEET! TWO BLOODY FEET!
Eeehhh... Two. Feet. Of. Snow. My mom called the school to say I wouldn't be going to school today because of two feet of snow, AND I didn't finish my homework last night. Plus it's Friday. As my mum put it, "You've got the whole bloody WEEKEND to do it! Pardon my French.."
Heeheehee. I love Canada. MY SNOW! Mine! MIIINNNEEE!
Now I need to go finish that bloody WRITING homework my teacher gave me. One of these days I'll have to ask him if we can have math homework instead of writing thirty sentences. I HATE long answers. Except with math. Then it's fun to blame my verbal dierria(sp?) on the question having the sentence "Explain your srategy(sp?)."
The way too happy Canadian,
Mousey.
PS: SNOW DAYS RULE!
PPS: I am completely insane., for I am going to attempt to make a snow angel in two feet of snow. But feh.

can express me some snow? 'cause it ain't likely that we'll get any down here. nosotros no tengo "snow days"...tengo "flood days". like my spanish? i know, it's really bad, but i don't want to look up some definitions.
i'm in open lab right now, which is really great. our computer guy (i think they call him the head of technology or something) is setting up a projector here in the jr./ honors fish english room. i can't wait to go home and lounge around...until about five, whne i have to go learn how to be a down ref for volleyball. we have a tournament on sunday and our acursed uniforms haven't come in yet. it's friday for goodness sakes! WHY ARE YOUR PEOPLE TAKING FOREVER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! i should probably do something useful, but i don't know what. <STRIKE>finals</STRIKE> MIDTERMS are next week, i could begin to study for those, but i don't want to.
i need to get christmas gifts for my familia and amigas. don't know when that will happen.

I'm rather excited right now. I had to take a massive chemistry test today (massive point-wise, not massive in any other way), and I think I at least got a B. I'm incredibly happy about that because whether or not I was exempt from the final completely depended on that test. I had a bunch of other tests and quizzes today that I completely blew off...that I somehow managed to pass. Well, I got a 100% on the Algebra 2 quiz, but that was simple. I'm not quite sure about the English test, but hopefully I didn't completely butcher my grade in that class.
Annnyway. I'll have bunches of time to read during school Monday and Tuesday, because most classes will be going over things for the finals. Midterms. Whatever, same difference. Hehe...I <3 oxymorons.
However, I do have to take my spanish final, which somewhat worries me. Spanish isn't my greatest subject. With my old teacher, it was really easy. I understood it, and he made things simpler. This year, the teacher complicates things and just...bothers me. I'm sure she's a good person, just not that great of a teacher.
Yah, Christmas gifts. Definitely need to get some of those. For other people, not myself, just to clarify.
Ooo. I don't think I even have to go to school Wednesday or Thursday...which is pretty nifty. I want snow... *le sigh* We haven't gotten much here yet. I need to remember to get my Winter Ball ticket at lunch on Monday.
Wow, I jump topics rather suddenly. I'm not quite sure how I get from one topic to another. It just sort of comes out as I type.
Our Christmas concert was last night. Well, the band. Choir and orchestra is Monday night, but that's not gonna be any good, so back to band. We pretty much rocked. The highschool band is amazing, though apparently there are a bunch of ambitious eight graders who are pretty much as good as us. Maybe W telling us that will get some people to work a bit more... Anyway, Wind Ensemble tryout music *might* be handed out on Monday. I'll be practicing that stuff sooooo much. I want to get in soo badly. I'm tired of us not playing as good as we should simply because a few people refuse to practice. That, and because the harder the music, the more I work at it. If it's easy, I don't usually bother with it...which makes me better at the harder stuff, usually.
I'm definitely not doing choir next year. I made such a huge deal about getting in, but it's sooo stressful. I don't have enough time, and next year I either want to be in color guard or marching band. So, yeah. That's pretty much all. *dances around*<3
