• Gryphon:
You have a 98% in a class. There is no way you can be even vaguely worried.
Well...yeah...but that's with tons of bonus points that she randomly gave us and her constantly worrying if she was being too hard because she hadn't taught freshmen in something like seven years.

We went to the library. I got like ten books or so, mostly big fat hardbacks with a smattering of little paperbacks that barely fit into the bag the lady offered me. So, yeah, carrying around a pile of books that I could barely hold on to would have officially labeled me as dork if anybody my age had actually been there. Of course, because it's summer and no school stuff is due, nobody between the ages of ten and fifteen, besides myself was in there. Well, there are generally a few bookworms such as myself who are in the library, just none today.

I have to go wash my hair 'cause I have to leave in...two hours to go play at graduation. Looovely. *sigh* I really don't want to. I'd rather stay at home, read, and mess around with my sax. But alas, I cannot. For it is required that we bore ourselves out of our minds by playing the same thing over and over again.

• Has anyone seen X-men 3? I want to go see it for my birthday, but I want to know if it's good. Just don't do spoilers, please. I hate it when people do that. Like, my cousin e-mailed me and she was like, "I saw xmen three today andCyclops(spoiler space) dies!!!I was so sad!!!" Someone please tell me this isn't true!!! Also, I saw some stuff online that suggested that [Bobby(Iceman) is cheating on Rouge!!!!!] please tell me this isn't true either!!!!!Please!!!!! Cuz that would make me sad.

• My brother's watching Spongebob. I have MSI on repeat really loud trying to drown it out...

Angel:
Oh, I remember the time when missing a day meant reading up on a whole page or two. Now, you'd have to miss a week to have to catch up on more than a few posts.
*waves hand* I was gone a week recently. I missed about a page and a half.

Apples to Apples! Wow, a lot of people play that. I love Apples to Apples, but haven't played it with more than four people.

Hungry:
I just realized that today is my first anniversary of being on the boards! lol. That's weird...I can't believe I've been here for a year.
I felt the same way with my one-year anniversary, but I think it's even weirder when you're like "oh, I remember the forums when _____ wasn't here/was really new" and then it turns out they've been around a year. That's happened to me a couple times, I think.

Tut:
This will be short, but after my last post anything would be short.
Yeahhh. XD Your last post was only a few hundred words shorter than my 2005 Nanowrimo attempt (I don't know if that says more about how you've got a load of awesome stuff to talk about, or how sad my Nano attempt was :P).

Dee:
I'm drawing on my pants with highlighters and permanent markers.
Hmm... I draw on mine with pen, but it always washes out. I do have a shirt with things written on it in Sharpie, though.

Angel again:
We went to the library. I got like ten books or so, mostly big fat hardbacks with a smattering of little paperbacks that barely fit into the bag the lady offered me.
Offered you a bag... XD Maybe I'm crazy, but I bring bags to libraries- tote bags. I've filled those so that I can barely lift them, too (like almost every time I go to the library...).

I'm listening to Apocalyptica now, and it's all because of Diego's image post- Apocalyptica are the cello players. They've got videos up on their site. 'S so cool.

Nnn, I have a karate tournament tomorrow morning. We have to leave at 8:30 AM, which is really early for me. I'm gonna die. At least I don't have to do sparring, just empty-hand kata and maybe weapons kata. Still gonna die.

Comment

• Oh yeah. Just got an e-mail a few days ago that we'll have a dojo celebration/belt rank thing, and I have to learn at least two entire katas. Maybe a third, if I have to know the weapon kata I did once. I'm gonna diiieee. Seichen and Tensho are the katas I need to know, and the third is something no kun. Not sure what it's name is any more. All I can say is that I have learned one kata since becoming a green belt.

School's over, and I still feel like I'm fried. I swear I failed my spanish exam. I was so thankful that the girl who took the test before me wrote some notes on the test that the teacher didn't catch; they gave me at least 10 points I wouldn't have scored otherwise. Some of my guy friends in that class were like, "Hey, Izzy, can I sit next to you and uhh maybe grab some answers?" So there'll be a few other people with the exact same fail grade as me. XD

What's worse is that I spent hours studying for this exam, and I hardly knew any of the answers. This test has got to be curved.

More nightmare about the spanish exam. Last year, the highest score was a 78, and that was leaps above the average; most everyone else scored between the 50-70 range.

But I am going to karate in five minutes, so all will be better.

• I haven't been alive for a while... again...but yay! I decided to post about nothingness/randomness.:P

Finals! All my finals are next week! (And then schools over, wow! O_o 1/4th of High School finished before I remember it beginning). I'm bracing myself for the worst. "D"s and "E"s. Maybe some "C"s. I need more enthusiam... =_=;;

I was prancing around like an idiot yesterday in front of the ice cream store with like five friends. I felt something snap, and fell. And I lay on the bricks in denial. Because... wow. I have a BROKEN KNEE. I have to use CRUTCHES. It really really HURTS. I'm so lame. I'f only I'd been sitting on the bench rather than skipping in circles. T_T Wahhhhh. >_< I'm a cripple! This is so painful to both my ego and physical being! How will I carry my books around school and clean out of my binder/shoe/big-heavy-stuff infested locker if I can't even stand?! Only three half-days of school left, perhaps I'll survive.

O'migawd. People actually know that game exists?! Wow! That used to be my little sister's all-time favorite game. A few months ago she played it every single dang night, after night, after night, after morning... I love that game though! <3 I'm good at it, too. I always thing of the most outrageous things. ^_~ did get rather sick of it though, I'll have to admit. We need to have a big virtual game, we, including moi, Wildflower, Gryph, Angel-Star, Hungry, and anyone and everyone else! Yay!

Rent is awesome. My dad thinks it's a documentary about AIDs or something; he's never seen it before, but was shocked when I told him that's the movie my friends picked for a birthday party. hah. :P Rent makes me want to go out and see every other movie/musical that exists, like Wicked or Phantom of the Opera.
RENT is very popular here. All the girls have seen/own/obsess over it. We even sang songs from it in chorus, (the teachers couldn't resist!) LOL about your dad's thinking that it was a documentary though. Last time I checked, a documentary is as far from a singing-tastic musical as one can get.

Owowowow, must go spank knee with leaking bags of ice... yippee, what fun! *extreme sarcasm. Boo.* Must also study for all finals... Noooo...

• X-Men III: ROCKED, it was NOT just the mutants going around saying "oh look, I have these cool powers... wait, you actually want me to SHOW you my powers? Yeah right," like it was in the first two, or at least, the second one. The second one was all show and tell, no real action until the end. But the third one: they USED their powers (YES!) hahah, it was very cool
Rent: was AMAZING, and it's not centered on the homosexuality bit, it's more like what Gryph said: it's a musical about LIFE and how short it is. Plus the original play was supposedly based off of La Boehm (sp?) a bohemian musical, so because it's so very old and classic, there's very little controversy. Though there is some... I go to a Christian school and we tried to get our health teacher to let us watch Rent (because of the AIDs and all) and he said "No, it's dirty disgusting movie! .. what's it about again?" *sigh* ignorance and propaganda plagues us all...

• This post is incredibly momentous one. You see, with this, I will have 500 posts! Whooohoo! Of course, I have more karma points, but whatever. I didn't think to check until I had over 500 karma points, so I couldn't celebrate.

I like Tagalongs (I'm sure there a dashes or spaces or something in there, but whatever), the peanut butter chocolate Girl Scout cookies, but I've had this weird...not wanting to eat a lot of 'em. I got a box before, I just liked the thin mints more. I used to loooove the others. I've also started to not really like those...I think they're Little Debbie...brownies. I still love the ones my mom makes, though.

I had chicken noodle soup for lunch. I heart chicken noodle soup. I so odd...it's very warm outside, and I'm eating soup. *shakes head*

*sniffle* I miss the Seniors...er...college people. Whatever. They're not even gone yet. I'm talking to one right now on AIM.

I've fallen into a habit. I read or get on the computer until dinner time. After dinner, I go for a walk around the neighborhood. Then I practice my saxophone. After that, I get back online. I reallly need to get a life.

This is an extremely short post. Quite sad, considering that I'm celebrating 500 posts. Goodness, it's just that my life is so boring that I have nothing interesting to talk about. The only things I'm going to do this week include volunteering at the library with the "Princess Tea Party" for five year olds and going over to a friend's house on Friday so we can go to a concert on Saturday. That's all I have in the way of plans until the 16th, when another friend is having a party. And then we're leaving for Florida on the 24th. It seems like the only time I'm doing anything is on the weekends.

I didn't know any of the seniors at my school, so it didn't really matter. The ones I did know I miss though...gonna miss like everyone during summer.
My mom keeps kicking me off the computer lately though, and I can't get on for forever cause my cmoputer doesn't have an y virus protection right now and my mom is having spaz attacks. *loves library computers* Yar.

:P I worked out today.

And chicken noodle soup = !!! !!!

I had some yesterday for dinner. Which I made myself. Campbell's soup has got to be the easiest food in the world... dump in a can of the stuff, dump in equal part of water... heat, and tada!

• I was never a girl scout. Many of my friends were, and two still are.

I knew seniors through quick recall (Nerd Herd). We had around five or six in the beginning, but really, only two showed up. They're amazing. We also had four seniors in the band, but I never got close to any of them. They were nice; they just didn't hang out with us.

Summer equals isolation. I don't really have friends in the neighborhood, except for my ex-stalker. Hehe...that name will stick with him forever. Most of my school friends are busy. It's not hard to keep in touch, with e-mails and phones and IM, but it's hard to get everybody together. I miss my fwiends. *sniffle*

Poptarts are the easiest food in the world. Hehe... I saw this commercial for poptarts, and suddenly I had this craving for them. Of course, we don't have any. I also just finished off the last bag of popcorn.

I feel like I'm living on the internet. Pretty soon I'll be nothing more than a ghost of a girl, haunting this old computer and keeping all the other ghosts of the house from checking their e-mails. Er...not quite sure where that came from, but whatever. You know, if I just let my fingers do the typing and not really think about what I'm saying, I can come up with some really random stuff.

"Here's to the liars and the cheaters and the cold mistreaters/To the Momma's boys who can't make a stand/Here's to the superficial players/The "I love ya" too-soon-sayers/If you hear me girls, raise your hand/Let's have a toast/Here's to findin' a good man"

I've got that song stuck in my head. I find it to be absolutely amazing. In the music video, a bunch of women are at a table, talking. These guys come up and talk to them, one at a time. Well, they have these sunglasses that turn the men this blueish color and label them on their foreheads. Some of the labels were "liar", "cheater", "married" and stuff like that. It was sooo amusing.

I have this lotion that has "subtle self-tanners" in it. Well, I forgot to put it on my feet as well as my legs, so my feet are two shades off from my legs. I also have this one splotch that I seem to have missed. Heh. It's not a huge difference, just a little one. But hey, if it helps me to not roast in Florida, why not?

• Summer summer summer summer summer! I'm so happy it's finally here! Of course, I need to clean my room, since the contents of my entire locker is all over the floor. And I had a lot more stuff in my locker than I thought I did. But whatever. I didn't really do anything to celebrate this occasion...my friend and I were going to go to this beach party someone we don't know too well was having, but we decided not to because I got sunburned! Lol, it sort of hurts. My feet have flip-flop shaped burns on them. Not fun.

I think being a junior is going to be better than being a sophomore...but I am going to miss my english class from this year. My teacher was really great...she was just so fun, and so good at explaining stuff to my class. Oh well...I'll probably still go hang out in her room at lunchtime or something occasionally, since I'm a geek like that.

Yesterday I had my two hardest finals, Adv Algebra 2, and English. Ummm...I came home and literally sat for 6 hours. Mom finally decided to do something about it, and she made me go get ice cream so I would just stop being dead-ish. It was so weird-I just didn't want to move or think at all. My brain was just so tired, because the exams were so hard! And now it's dinner time, so maybe I'll come back and post more here, so...yeah.
