Of course, avidgamers would stop working right when I have something to do on it. *grumble* I have to go practice my flute. I am so tired right now. I had to get up at like eight, which isn't so bad, but I had stayed up late last night. And the night before that, and the night before that, and the night before that.

i saw the northern lights tonight too! they weren't super bright or anything, but they were light green, orange, and pink. it was cool- i had never seen them before.
i like those aussie christmas carols. i'm gonna see if our foreign exchange student knows them.
ok. i have decided to write a tumbleweed song, just for the sake of writing one. here it goes:
"Tumbleweed of Doom"
(in steady quarter notes [so it's more like a chant])
Verse 1:
Tumbleweed of Doom!
Flies into your Room!
What a scare!
It knows you're there!
Hiding in the gloom!
Verse 2:
On its horrid Flight!
Gliding through the Night!
Scaring You!
You know its True!
Can't flee from it's Sight!
Chorus:
Tumble!
Tumble, Tumble!
Oh, Tumbleweed of Doom!
Dried-up, Rolling, Bushes,
Bringing Forth Your Doom!
Verse 3:
From Darkest Deserts Spawned!
It waits there on Your Lawn!
Waits for Night!
Until the Light!
Suddenly It's Gone!
Repeat Chorus x2
And there you have it. A tumbleweed of doom song. oh, btw, the chorus isn't said in quarter notes and i don't think i can explain it well, so use your imagination!Member of the Tumbleweeds of the World Foundation. Beware the Tumbleweed Stampede!

But it's not the man who has to be pregnant with it for nine months. You'd have to agree that makes a difference - some abortions are for medical reasons, after all.Fox said:
What if the man wantted the baby but the women did'ant! I really belive that the man has the right to have that baby!
I'd guess Fox means the Child Support Agency, which gets money from absentee fathers and pays it to the mothers. In theory. It seems to have had a lot of problems with that. Presumably this doesn't apply in the US.And Gryphon said:
And since when is the woman taking the man's money? If you didn't realize, some women make a lot more than men, and they can take care of theirselves.
Alla: Heh
but should "Abudabe" be "Abu Dhabi"? [/nitpick]
Not only can they be graphed, but they're apparently needed to solve engineering problems like suspension bridges. So, next time you're on a bridge that looks as if it's held up by a cat's cradle, remember: its basis is imaginary.Aurora said:
My math really entertains me these days. We're doing complex numbers. . . otherwise known as imaginary numbers that don't REALLY exist but that can be graphed. Like the square root of negative sixteen. That goes down to 4i.
Telaldalin: That must be a Hallowe'en carol!

Yay! Tel! *will write music to it and post a screen shot* - stupid sibelius demo won't let me save stuff... It won't be in quavers though.. it kinda, to me anyway, it wants to go in six-eight time and sorta bouncy... i dunno you can have a look at it... I can always rewrite it... Should it be in minor?
*sigh* I have two lesson days of school left... and in some subjects, such as chemistry, we haven't taken any notes all term... and we have our exam on monday... *sarcastically* its wonderful when you have an exam set on nothing ... isn't it?
*opens sibelius and starts composing..*
[update] Poss Tune for it... First verse only... chorus is still being worked on
Another one ... this time with a chorus

Ella: Just because you think that Bush made a mistake and you want him to admit it, doesn't mean that he thinks that he made a mistake. Your opinion on this matter, is just that, your opinion. I don't think that Bush has made a mistake in regards to the war in Iraq. Loosing less than 2000 lives in a war is very good in comparison to all the other wars that other presidents have fought. What about Vietnam and the hundreds of thousands of lives lost? Nothing good really ever happened there. At least in Iraq, the people are free. And sometimes, people have to give their lives for the good of others.
Alla: Actually, when I was a kid we did call flipflops, thongs. But I think that they came out with the undies version of thongs and so flipflops were named... but really, 25 years ago, they used to be thongs.
Z: *huggles back* I agree and it is very sad, that.
Diego: What you should really be posting are the victims killed by the terrorists (or others trained by the terrorists) that we have caught or killed. BTW: Michael Moore is not the end all be all. F911 wasn't a truth. It was a movie... just a movie. You might want it to be totally real, but anyone can twist the truth to make it look one way or another. The problem with this is that it isn't the truth anymore. And stop double posting.
Okay... exact words to Diego:You should know me well enough by now to know that I don't swear... I was very close to it but I didn't... I just put in **** instead and it wasn't the word that you are accusing me of using either... I don't use that word ever.and tell Damian when he cleans up his language, i might think about talking to him again......
I don't cuss you out and totally berate the people that you guys support do I? And besides, what is it to you what president we have? You don't give a **** anyhow! Like it is going to affect how you believe... like any president we have would change your mind about the policies america has in Puerto Rico. I'm sorry, but I can't talk to you guys anymore... I'm not a happy camper and I have a boat load of stuff I have to get done today, including work that I didn't get to last night. I'll type later today if I can... *sigh*
Diego's reply:Diego... I know you weren't shouting at me... Damian was and I was not speaking to him at the time... so giving you something to relay... but well, you mistook it and left before this got to you.Man breathe ...I wasn't shouting at you
And I don't feel like I have anything to appologize for.I know.. but I really do have to go.... I don't want to debate the reasons that I have for voting the way I did... only I know that I did the right thing for me. I personally don't care what other people do... that responsibility belongs to them. I do have a lot of work to do today, though... and I can't type anymore now... *sigh* sorry... I will try to get back here in a while, though. K?-----------------------------I'm not paranoid! Which of my enemies told you this?

M! The northern lights are supposed to be here again today. 6-8 o'clock was when I saw then yesterday. But they're only in the north. (so cool.) Did nobody in your school see them? I live in Southern Minnesota, (not THAT south but pretty close around the twin cities) and I saw them.
Tumbleweed song...funny.penguins will rule the world.

*Resiliently ignores the feud of Diego and Chani*
Funny song. I'm gonna resolve to play it on the piano, but I'll have to refresh myself on how to read sheet music. Since I stopped taking lessons (I started going to High School and didn't feel like I could invest the necessary time in it.), I've been playing a lot of stuff by ear...
