I care! My extra HP figures are all the wrong colour now! And I've only got two figures with pink faces and hands, so I can't redo them all.

Oh, Chani already answered crookedfrog21's question. Since I've got loads of Lego figures, it was easy to make figures for characters that Lego hadn't got round to.

Diego: Yeah . In the book, he's using a torch/flashlight - Cuaron must have thought it wasn't magical enough, forgetting it's illegal.

What's all this with Legos??
Yeah! I noticed that! I'm like "wait... I thought they couldn't do magic outside of school...." but then my dad said that he thinks it's because he's practicing for school or something. Homework must be sooooo hard for wizards...

I like Lego!

Lego make Harry Potter Lego sets to tie in with the films, that's the relevance. And they've just changed the colour of the bricks they use for skin, which makes sense now that they're making black figures like Lando Calrissian from the Star Wars films, but is annoying when they change it for the PoA sets after having yellow figures for the first two films' sets.

Legos are way cool as my boys say. I guess it doesn't help that as parents, we love spending time as a family building cool things with them. We have spent whole weekend afternoons so pleasantly occupied.

PM: In the legos pictures, the first picture, there is one Lego that is Snape, and then there is another wizard with a particulary nasty look on his face. Is that supposed to be Voldemort or something? I'm confuzzeled...

Lego's are fun, but the peices are so small sometimes, I lose them before i have a chance to paly with them properly.

No you're not, that _is_ Voldemort. I just picked a bunch of the figures I'd made (plus the official ones) and gave them copies of the books to read. (I was going to include Crabbe and Goyle, still reading the first book... one of them holding it upside down... but there were enough figures there already.)

Diego: *gasp* you heretic! Oh, wait, this is the YW forums. Ok, you're not a heretic. Not unless there's a YW film and Lego license the characters, anyway.

Legos are ...the child architect's dream. I loved legos for the longest time. And then I evolved into a computer loving freak/geek, giving me the option of building a house using the architect program ont he computer. it's not the same as lego's, but the 3d walkthrough feature is really cool. I wanted to be an architect once. And then I took drafting and just got frustrated.

And why would they put Voldemort into a PoA lego set? He's not even in the book!

Drea: There are at least two "libraries" of Lego bricks for the 3D program POV-Ray... which means you can build with more Lego bricks than you can afford and then program the camera to take you on a walkthrough...

None of the figures on that page are from PoA, they're either figures from sets for the first two films, or ones I put together using Hogwarts uniforms and heads and hair from other old sets. Voldemort hasn't been in any of the sets, unless {spoiler time} you count the back of the Quirrell figure's head. The one in that photo was just one of these extra characters I put together. (Oh - Tom Riddle is in one of the CoS sets, though.)

All the figures from the PoA sets have pink "skin", the ones in the photos have yellow "skin".

Pink skin! Thats horrid. Lego people aren't pink, they are Yellow! Gack! The weirdness! Do they look weird or am i spacing again? Probably the latter, since that tends to happen quite a bit...

By the way, does anybody know when Number Six is coming out?

Hmmm. Looks like you may not need magic to do the ceiling of the Great Hall at Hogwarts or Harry's cloak...

crookedfrog21: Ah, the nostalgia, the days when Lego figures were yellow... April, I believe that was.
Actually, the first time I looked at one, it was night time, and in the artificial light of this underpowered bulb, it didn't look all that different. In daylight, there's a big difference, though.

Kathy: I thought at first it was an April Fool's joke! Wow.

Pink Legos. huh. Still to odd for me to grasp. And as for the invisiility cloak, I am surprized no body thought of it sooner. I mean, come on. To be invisible. Don't you think there would have been alot more talk about it after Harry?
