• Hello Wizgal! You're new, as I see from your registration date! I always like to say hello to newbies...because I'm a kind-of newbie too. I've only been posting since January. Has it really been almost four months? Weird. Anyways, I love writing! My science teacher gets to read most of my stories before anyone else. Why science, and not English? Because I like my science teacher better, and because I write stories for my science projects. Today I got the grade sheet back for one of my story projects, and Science Teacher put a very nice note on it. She said "I have a request. Can I have a signed copy of your first novel when it's published?" I feel happy now.

But we don't have soccer today. Stupid rain!

And my room isn't clean. If it isn't clean, I don't get to go to soccer games tomorrow. My mom has a very extreme sense of clean. It means NOTHING on the floor or bed, bed made, vacuumed, (especially corners) NO clothing peeking out of my dresser, and perfectly organized surfaces (like my desk, bookshelves, and dresser). Compared to most kids' rooms, mine is spotless. Especially compared to Steph's.

Double soccer games tomorrow, though, as long as it doesn't rain and I get my room clean! Two games! WE WILL WIN!!!!

Yeah right. Last season, we won two games. Total. The season before that, we were like...last in the league or something. *sigh* But I'm determined to win the first game!

I read Uptown Local the other day. It is very, very, very, supremely good.

Yes, I am a girl *insulted that you dare ask*
I didn't mean it insultingly. I just didn't want to call you a girl if you weren't one.

By the way, Lisa. Jonouchi actually wears that white coat in the Pharaoh's memory saga (when they visit Yami's past, you know). They posted something on Yugioh GX there too, and the female monster in red was ALREADY digitized...dubbed...they made the straps covering her thicker in certain areas (it's not like you could TELL, anyway) and GX won't be out for years at this rate... dubbing already...sickening.

Whoa, this post is long. Where I am in the world, it's like two minutes before midnight.... (Like Seto, I do not sleep, or know how to).... I'd better go... Anyone notice that not only my post but almost ALL the posts on this page are about Yugioh?
Actually, I read somewhere that GX would be out in 2005, this year. And I didn't know about the Pharoh's Saga, because I haven't heard much about that. Still, he's copying Seto's style...*twitching*...and Yami's.

I've truly been more into the fanfiction than the "real" Yu-Gi-Oh. It's so much more interesting.

And yes, that's a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh related posts.

Random thing of the week: I'm left-handed. Anyone else here left-handed?

• I'm in a Catholic school and they didn't even MENTION getting school off. Now I'm mad.
I don't know anything about YuGiOh. I used to watch it a little, but it was really quite cheesy at times and the plots seemed to repeat. A lot. I don't know, that's just how it seemed to me.
As for writing, I LOVE to write. I have a fanfiction, which is completely random. For anyone who wants to read it (please do, and review!) it's at fanfiction.net under the name nenfea. It's HP/LOTR/POTC crossover with some Buffy in the last two chapters. Basically I add in whatever I like at the time.
I do write real stuff too though. I sent in a story to Stone Soup, but they didn't like it. I think it might have been too muture. It was about death, and I think there are a lot of younger children who read that magazine. At least that's what I tell myself when I wonder why they didn't accept it.

No, no. The point is he failed two classes, including the one I'm in with him, and got a D- in another. *sigh*

• Today in Chat PM pointed out to me the existence of a Star Trek Wikipedia, which for future refrence is named "Memory Alpha". I had fun looking around the site for awhile and thought to look up Diane Duane. There was an article but it was vague and in some cases incorrect. So I descided, as the Self-Proclaimed YW-Trekkie, to double the length of the entry and add in other interesting pieces of information. I could have extended the article farther but in the end didn't.

If anyone is interested, the page can be found here:
Diane Duane on Memory Alpha

Please alert me if I have made any mistakes or feel free to correct them yourself. Just please keep in mind that I wrote this at midnight after being up for eighteen hours and am feeling rather tired.

• I'm supposed to be vacuuming my room right now, because I didn't yesterday, but that's okay. Mom's gone, and I'll do it in a couple minutes.

Soccer! We WILL WIN!!!

I don't think they're going to skip Pharoh's Memory or KC Grand Prix. GX is almost another series entirely, because it doesn't focus on Yugi and the gang. So it's possible that they'll air GX while the Orichalcos (or Doom, as I've heard it called) saga is still on, and then after Orichalcos/Doom is over, they'll show the other episodes, and GX will still be going on. By my estimation, we have a good...year and a half, at least, before they stop showing Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters on KidsWB, or whatever your local channel is. I'm so sentimental. I started crying when I first saw that Yu-Gi-Oh had ended in Japan. And in the same article, it told what happened to everybody. Including...that the Pharoh has to leave at the end. If they skip it, I'm going to be even angrier than I was when they cut down the number of Yu-Gi-Oh episodes the aired every day. THAT was bad. THIS could be devastating.

Gooooo THUNDERCATS!!! (My soccer team.) *waves little pennant that says "thundercats"*

• Yes. It would be difficult for those little kids to understand. But see, the people who make Yu-Gi-Oh don't really know what their main audience is. THEY think it's the ilttle third thru fifth grade boys, which is a big part of it, but I think it's mostly teenage girls who want something besides CONSTANT dueling. Not that the dueling is too bad...but still, I prefer the manga because there's more than one plot line. Not just Duel Monsters all over the place.

Kaiba, do you realize that we're every other post on this page, basically? We really should start a Yu-Gi-Oh topic...or at least bring this over to the anime/manga one.

I'm leaving about...right now. Steph should be picking me up at this very instant. 15 minutes ago, she said she'd pick me up in 15 minutes, so...it's time. SOCCER! WE WILL WIN!!!

I'm listening to one of the few songs that can make me cry. FOR GOOD, a song in Wicked.

Gotta go now! I think she's here!

Which is the only thing I had so far today, besides milk, and I think it might have a little more sugar than milk. Not much, though. Heh, I've corrected five typos in this paragraph so far. So I'll go ahead and translate the above. It was a sad excuse for a welcome.

Hey[yyyy...] newbie, Wizgal! Welcome, I'm Gryph, and this is the TOGR!!! AYAYAY

I'm right handed. But I kick better left... Side kicks, at least. XD And side kicks you don't want to block!

I go to... I dunno if we count as a private or public. It's free, anyway, so I'll call it public. We're a math/science school. And we're really poor because we don't follow all of the state's rules, so they don't like to fund us that much. Of course, all of the schools here are poor, but we've got to be at the pits.

Heh, canyon crouches down when she walks past me on my desk now. She knows I'll pick her up, and I did. I tossed her up on my bed because that's what she wanted anyway, and she'd claw up my desk if she jumped.

She's mad again.
