Grr. This is such a difficult book: I don't know why I chose it. The only thing I can see is that it shows some event in Russia about this guy kicking out this other guy and then ruling the country. *shrugs*

I found Sharky's marbles. But I used the "Find" button too. Technically, it's not cheating...he did say "find" my marbles...Hint: Look for a post he edited recently. Duh.

I'm obsessed with the play Wicked. It's about the Wicked Witch of the West from Oz, and how she came to be Wicked. It's awsome! I got hooked on it in chorus on Tuesday. We're listening to the songs and sometimes reading the words. Right now, I'm on the official site listening to the sound clips, which is actually where that link's to. I love "The Wizard and I", because if you see the play (which I haven't) or read the lyrics to the songs, (which I have, because my music teacher made copies of them for us to read) then you know what the celebration is about. Idena Menzel is Elphaba, the Wicked Witch, and Kristin Chenoweth is Glinda/Galinda (for some reason, the name changes) the good witch. Here's the lyrics to "The Wizard and I", or at least, the part that's actually on the site.

The last part isn't on the site, but it's in the lyric book, and I just wanted to put it there. If anyone can guess what the celebration is and/or the other "foreshadowing" (as my teacher says) in that song is, they get a virtual candy. The play's been running for two years now, and the original Elphaba is now...not playing her. I don't know why. She's really good. Can anyone tell me what Elphaba stands for? It's a trick question.

And I've learned this all in two days. Ah, the strange effects of obsession.

Soccer practice today. But no game tomorrow, I bet, because it's pouring.

Gah! My grades are steadily declining, I think. I didn't do ANY homework that was due today. Including two projects. I'm not normally like this...I'm worried. But now I have 9 things due on Monday. As of last time I checked, my lowest grade is a B+ in Math. And possibly in English too, but I do very well in English so I'm pretty sure I brought it up.

I'm uberly happy today! It's FRIDAY! Plus, I found out that I'm moving up a level in swimming, which is a big deal for me. I was starting to freak out that I wouldn't, and then I would probably quit because I the one I'm in is WAY too easy. PLUS I had a choir concert today which was majorly fun, and I'm going to Utah on Sunday, so I only have to go to school on Friday next week. SHZA!
My lowest grade is an A-. I have a few of them, but it doesn't bug me.

Canyon is thoroughly pissed at me. I was petting her, but then she growled. So I picked her up. And carried her all the way up to my room where I tossed her up onto my bunk bed. She did a 180 to face me and tried to wack me with her paws. She spit at me too. So to get her back, I took out Green Day and put Chevelle in place. Then I turned it on all the way up. War with the messed up cat.

Awww, but here comes Skittles. He's a good people kitty. He'll come over and sit on you. XD And purr.

Yesterday mom, bro, and I played my brother's board game. It was his book project for school. He read Relic. ... I died on my second turn, and mom and bro died the in the next few turns. So we decided that we'd play again, but this time you had to die three times to really be dead. No one won again. XD It was actually really funny.

After that, I stood in the kitchen's doorway. Then I leaned my back against one side and put my feet up on the other. And I climbed all the way to the top by moving my back a little higher, then my feet. XD XD XD It was fun, anyway, but when I reached the top, I panicked a little because I'm afraid of heights, and I didn't feel too safe. There wasn't anything below me, by the way.
