in response to all you guys talking about snow way back when...SNOW ROCKS! i just wish we could get some in new york at the moment...oh well. since i don't ski, my personal oppinion at the moment is that packing snow rules, and powder snow is fine if i'm inside, but outside, while i'm trudging through it to school, or being forced to shovel it with no chance i'll actually get to do anything with it, it basically just exists to annoy me and taunt me wiht how much it looks like packing snow. :P

I wouldn't know anything about packing snow, or powder snow, or whatever. Well, we finally got a Christmas tree today, and me and my sister set it up and decorated it, so it looks alright. It isn't very big, though...about 5'9" to 5'11". At least we have one. It doesn't really feel like Christmas this year, which is sad because I enjoy it a lot...

Wow, well Christmas duties have taken taken a large chunk of my time up for the past little while since break began. It's been fun and it's been sad but mostly it's been fun. ^_^

I must say though, christmas shopping is so much fun. People kept asking me what I wanted for Christmas but I was always too preoccupied thinking what I would get everyone else. Now it's too late to actually point out things that I might want. I guess I can only hope I don't recieve socks. T_T

I havn't seen the eragon movie. Waiting till it comes out on video and dvd.

Hmmm...been an interesting week. You know, I kind of wish winter break had started closer to Christmas, because I've realized that break is half over today-and that's really depressing. Oh well!

Ok, so...on Wednesday I was allowed to drive my friends in my big stupid silver minivan for the first time! And I didn't kill anyone on the way, lol. Also, I've been on the highway for the first time alone, which was weird. On the way home, I literally got boxed in by 3 huge trucks-one in front, back, and on the side, and on the other side was the shoulder. It was REALLY scary, since I hate driving near trucks. Then, on Thursday night, I did a bad thing-I ran into my uncle's car as I was backing out of a driveway. Got in trouble for that, but his car wasn't hurt, so it's ok...I guess. Mine had a huge dent in the front, until Dad popped it out with a toilet plunger. Got to give him points for creativity though! XD

I broke my retainer too. Sadly, not quite as easy to fix, since the orthodontist is closed until Tuesday. Still wearing it, but it's poking my gums and hurts.

Oops. I should stop complaining about life, since really, it's not all bad. Most of break's been pretty good! For example, last Sunday I went to Costco for the first time (it's this giant superstore thing that sells mass quantities of things), had some good samples, and saw a man get knocked over by his cart, which was loaded with many bulk packages of things like cereal and coffee. Fun stuff. I need to get a life.

Also, I'm trying to pick out a paint color for my room, since I'm getting it painted for Christmas. I can't wait, since my room is a bit...young...for me right now. It's going to be this aqua-y blue color, with more blue than green-I think it's really pretty.

Work last night was funny. We made smoothies (which we aren't supposed to do, since we don't sell them, and when customers see them, they tend to want them) and sat around for the last hour we were open talking about other employees, customers, and crazy managers. I've been deemed the "virgin" of Panera Bread, since I've never been on a date or been kissed or anything. Then we started joking that maybe I'm the virgin Mary and how I was going to show up to the Christmas party pregnant. We're so weird.

I gave myself bangs last night after work, because I was bored. They're just like those side ones that you push back, because I'd go crazy if they were in my face all day. Yes, I know that that's kind of the point of bangs, but still. I kind of like them, but Mom's not wild that I was cutting my hair in the bathroom at midnight. Oh well... everyone else likes them.

Anyone have any fun plans for the holiday? My plans are to sit around and eat as much as possible. Tonight, we're having ham, and tomorrow we're having turkey, and Monday we're having roast beef...I love my family, just because we have insane amounts of good food sitting around during the holidays.

Hmm...maybe I should go shopping tonight-I still have to get my 11 year old brother a present, but really, I have no clue what to get him to go with the book I got. He'll probably end up with nachos and cheese like he did last year. That was a fun Christmas...Merry (early, since I probably won't be around later) Christmas everyone!

Happy Holidays, all! It's a slow Christmas eve morning for me. I still need to take a shower and take off yesterday's eyeliner. Messy stuff.

Today should be a rather short Christmas eve for me. Right now, I'm watching our loser football team take on the (fill-in-the-blank)s. GO (fill-in-the-blank-with-my-team)S!!!! If I tell you what teams, you'll know where I live, and that would be scary. Oohh...touchdown. Oohh...extra point is good.

Anyway, I'll have to be at my church by 4:15 today. Me and my sister are cantoring the 5:00 Children's Christmas mass, which will be a bit scary but should be pretty fun. Don't know if I'll go to midnight mass yet...

Our tree's lights are blinking. I wonder why they do that...Our tree is at least a foot shorter than usual, because we got it on Friday and it had to fit in the trunk of my dad's compact car. At least we got one this year. I really think my family only fools with this anymore for my sister and me, because we like real trees so much. Once we go to college, they'll probably get a fake one. Eh...team recovered a fumble. It's about time.

Right now, I really want a tortilla. One that's nice and hot and fresh and melts in your mouth. I'll have to settle for what we have in our freezer, like mini frozen burgers or frozen lasagna. The day after tomorrow, I'll be eating delicious turkey sandwiches, with some dressing in there too. Football team's about to score . I need to go eat. Oohh...team scored. Dai, cousins.

MERRY (belated) CHRISTMAS!!

It's been one of the most interesting Christmas I've celebrated, at least in my short-termed memory If only we had snow... and real trees.

On Christmas Eve, my friends and I were complaining about rushing to finish our holiday homework. (Okay, it's our own fault for not doing them earlier... but, who does it early anyway) Anyway, we missed a planned countdown to midnight. Without log cakes or any other Christmas goodies, *drools again* we ate butter pound cakes. To make it "look" real, we even spread butter on top of it. It's nice, but it's fattening!! ARGH!!

How's mass?? I've never attended one before, but have heard differing opinions from some Christian friends... Wish I could try without changing my religion and having weird stares...

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S DAY!! Though it really is way too early...

I guess mass is okay, Doc. I've been going for so long to my parish I practically could say it for the priest. We did pretty well singing, so say the parents that I've known since I was in elementary school and whose kids I've coached in basketball and babysat and am friends with. They're prejudiced, and they're being polite, so I wouldn't know how I really did. Lauren (my sister)says that I messed up somewhere, but I think she wsa pulling my leg. When I was younger, I used to think mass was quite long, from the perspective of a young kid. The special masses, like Palm Sunday, Easter, and Christmas, are really beautiful with the insense (did I spell that right?)and readings and the songs and decorations.

The Easter Vigil, which I go to and altar serve at, takes about two hours, maybe more. They read the Creation Stories and sing in English and Spanish. During the collection the lights come on and people bring in colorful decorations and flowers. Everything is absolutely beautiful. Sorry about the ranting of needless information and descriptions.

It might sound ungrateful, but I'm already a bit bored with my vacation. I wish I had a car so I could go somewhere, but since I don't that's impossible. There's nothing to do here, nothing on TV to watch. I'm listening to my pretty new silver iPod shuffle, which was a Christmas present that I haven't blown up yet . I'll go watch a James Bond movie that happens to be on TV right now. Dai, cousins.

Multiple crushes. At least I think they're crushes... But I must congradulate myself on homing in on the three other INTELLIGENT people in my class that are in my grade AND the opposite gender. But none the less, it's confusing. Though it DOES make for lots of alternate universes... But I'm mostly focused on one of the three, so I have a feeling the other two are just friendly affection. Now to...

Presents! And money, money, MONEY! $10.95 for Chapters(from my mum), $90 for anywhere, and more $$ waiting. I wub my Granny. And I hope my dad hurries up with a color TV so I can play that game I got yesterday... Wheeee! Other presents:

You know the guy I bit once? The bully? Well, I had a talk with one of my dad's SCA friends, who's a teacher, and she said that there's a possiblity that Mr Bully MIGHT have a crush on me. You know what my reaction was? "Not likely!". No, really! She said he wants to catch my attention, and he thinks that the only way to catch my attention is by annoying me. Sorry, but all it'll do is make me want to punch your nose, HARD. And I don't feel the same way ANYWAY.

Now, with that over with, I'll go back to glaring at the nonexistant occupants of chat.

I knew this one guy who, when his girlfriend broke up with her, he threatened her and then gave her an ultimatum. Yeah, because that's really gonna make her want to get back together with him... But hey.

Speaking of royal asses. "BW," who is a neat guy, and I've been friends with for years, and I guess we still our... well, the other day, I went online, talked to him for a little bit, and asked him if he wanted tohang out tomorrow because I haven't really talked to him in a while. We've said hi and all, and he comes to my street to hang out sometime, but no *real* talking. So he says, "Call me tomorrow after lunch tomorrow, and I'll tell you. Oh, and don't bring both V and B, because when the three of you are together, you always go off and talk about stupid stuff." Okay, maybe we do talk about "stupid stuff," but we're certainly not excluding us. He could come over anytime, and if he doesn't like the topic, what's stopping him from changing it? But whatever. So instant message him back and ask him if I can take V. He says that's okay.

So tomorrow, noon comes, and I call him and get it all planned out. V was watching her little brother, but her mom was coming home soon so she'd be releived of her baby sitting duties. After a lot of phone calls between the two, we get it all worked out as follows: BW was coming to my house first to say hi to my brother and swap post-Christmas gifts (it was Tuesday). Then we'd head up to V's house because she had gotten the whole DDR package: a PS2, a mat, and two DDR games.

Yeah. Well, then I get a confused IM from V saying that apparently B is tagging along too... No, she didn't tell B that we were going to hang out, which meant that BW must have. I get another phone call from BW, and I ask him about B, and said, "I thought B wasn't going to come, and just you, V, and I were going to hang out." He says, "Oh, crap, I forgot." Sure you did. Not only that, but BW and B come inside, and lounge around on the couches with their new PS2s. I sit around for a little while, and then grab the phone, dial V's number, and run back outside to rant. "Yeah, I've got the two (...go ahead, you fill the blanks...) sitting in MY living room, doing nothing but playing their video games. Not even talking. And guess what, you've been ditched...!" How _TYPICAL_ of BW!!! UGGHH!!! I can't beleive they did that!!! A little later, BW is pestering B to go and skateboard.

BW is always blowing us off! Or wasting our time and ruining our plans! He'll promise to hang out, but then call last minute and say that he, "doesn't feel like it." There go our plans for the day... So selfish. He doesn't even care if we could have hung out with other people or seen movies or whatever. No. He's like a leech.

So we left to walk to another friend's house and kicked the guys out.

I must say, it's been an interesting Christmas. Too bad about BW, Gryph. Wow, that was out of nowhere. ANyway.

I got some pretty cool stuff this year. I got "Poetry on Record: 98 Poets read their works from 1888-2006", "The Twelve Terrors of Christmas", Some really neat purses including one of those liscence plate ones, a knight in shining armor ( we all need one of those ), a shirt that says "Explore with books" and has a young English girl sailing over the sea on a book, some garb supporting my local hs, etc., etc. Thed coolest thing I got, however, was this book my uncle gave me. It was a book you write in, something like "A hobbit's Travels by Sam Gamgee" or something like that. It was really sweet, though, because he sat me down and talked about how he had always wanted to write a story to put in it, but never got aroun to it, so he gave it to me because he thought I could do it justice. I was like, "Awwww!" of course. So I went out and bought a fountain pen and started to write with it. Not a good one, mind you. But I started to write a vaguely "Ella Enchated" esque story that I like, even though it's a little inconsistent (I changed the main character's name three times subconsciously). Kli, if you have any suggestions for a good pen, please tell me. I would really like to do this book justice.


Call me Ish! I won't force you to , but I strongly advise it! xD something like that. Ok, later days!
