• I have never owned a grpahics calcualtor, as I've never sat an exam yet where one was allowed. I have a standard scientific calculator (a Sharp EL something), which has always been adquate. If I want to do grahpical things, I either skecth the graph (a vital skill), or use Excel to do a 'proper' graph.

I am getting to teh stage of being extremtly bored with life, and I still have two full weeks before I had back to university... AARGH!

• The only TI calculators I have are 18 and 36 for school. the 89 and up ones cost almost 90-120 dollars! No way anybody would buy that just for school.

Unless it was required...

I have so much homework over the weekend! It's not fair. Grrr. Well, maybe I shouldn't be complaining, when I'm sure some people have worse.

I'm way too bored.

VC actually wrote this one, right VC?

If I find anymore I'll let you know...

What? it's very funny, but I didn't write it. At least I don't think I wrote it, I never remember

You are lucky, My algebra teacher doesn't explain it right so I have trouble in that class. My favorite class this year is Social Studies! that is very strange for me. Anyway sorry the post is so short I have a lot of catching up to do on internet I haven't been on in forever.

• Huh? VC, you didn't write that? But I am so positive that that was someone's pen name...*goes to do a little snooping around*

Ooooops....stupid me. It's actually MadWizardGirl whose pen name that is...I don't know why I thought it was you, VC. *feels stupid* Now I know that I can't rely on my memory...I kept forgetting I couldn't.

I know what Toblerone is. But it's not the best chocolate in the world...and I like dark chocolate too.

Yeah, we had to buy a TI-83+ for school last year, and this year's seventh graders had to buy the new edition, TI-84 or something. And yes, they're REALLY expensive. And we didn't use them all that much. And I prefer to draw the graphs anyway. But there are some games you can play...I happen to know that someone had SuperMario.

Does anyone have one of those LiveStrong bracelets?? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? They're these yellow wristbands with LiveStrong written on them. They're made by Lance Armstrong to raise money for cancer research. They're everywhere. I want one...

Okay, it's strange because it's difficult to type for some reason. It's really hard to explain, but it feels like I'm really straining when I'm typing, but normally typing is easy. Like my hands are sluggish or something. Does that make sense?

No, of course it doesn't.

• We don't have to buy our graphing calculators, thank god. . . a lot of American high schools require them though. Ours are sort of supplied by the school- We have something like a hundred graphing calculators and you get assigned one to use for the year, but you don't keep it or anything- generally, the teacher only uses it maybe twice a year or so, so there's no point anyway. The ones at school are TI-83s.... Scientific Calculators are required though, mine's a good old Casio. . . It's a wonderful calculator, even though it's ENTIRELY solarpowered, and it doesn't work if it's too dark. --''

Hey does anyone out there like fishing? and if so, can you post your best fishing story! I'm really bored at the moment...

• Naw, Toblerone isn't the best chocolate in the world. Lindt is. Mmmm... I hoard Lindt chocolates.

Hah. Someone was playing Mario (and humming the music - ugg) in Physics class.

No, doesn't make sense. Weird.

Last year in Geometry class, my math teacher had thirty-some of her own for the class to use. They were new TI-200's. They were really fun to play with. I'm glad we didn't have to buy them last year.

Fishing is fun. The last time I went fishing was when I visited relatives out of state. Heh. Mostly I hooked bait. My little cousin got to reel in all of the fish. Hehe. She's a cute little thing. My brother kept on cutting himself on the fishes' fins. Then the ducks came to investigate, and they were scaring away the fish, so I lured them away with bait (bread dough) to a different part of the lake.

I love roller blading, but I haven't been able to in years.

I haven't seen livestrong bracelets anywhere ella!! Now I really want one cause they sound cool.

• Really? They're really popular where I am...the first time I saw one was about a month ago; my cousin had one. Then I kept seeing them everywhere, and now I'm back in school and a ton of people have them. I really want one...I think you can order them online. Here's the website: WearYellow LiveStrong

Okay, I'm declaring it International Praise Google Day. I have these every once in awhile when Google's helped me with an assignment...yay Google! We love you!

Z, rollerblading is awesome!!! So much fun! I don't even know if my roller blades fit anymore... I need a new bike too. Mine is wayyy too small. Grace tried to ride it when her brother was using her bike, and it was too small for her. And she's three years younger than me. Big hint that I need a new bike.

I've never heard of the Livestrong bracelets before.

Arg, it's kinda against my own rules to post to much like this, but I'm unbearably bored with nothing to do ('cept for math homework which I still haven't finished). And I'm nearly a Senior member... Or 60-some away from being one.

A riddle:
You're in a room with two doors. There are two guards guarding you. One guard tells ONLY lies and the other tells ONLY truths. One door leads to destruction, and the other door leads to freedom. What single question do you ask the guards which door is the one to freedom (if you pick the right door, they'll let you go)? You can ask either one guard or both of the guards the question.

• Gryph: The answer is "Which door is it and don't think about lying to me, becuae you're going through first"
Sorry, Disicworld logic there. I have no idea what the real answer though.
Okay, another riddle: what is it you can take away from something but be left with the whole?

"If I was to ask the other guard 'Which door are you guarding' what would they say?". The liar will say "not the freedom door", the truthful will say "the freedom door".

No, they both say "not the freedom door". Then you take the other door, that's the point.
