Who shall go/
Why doth not thee know?

When you are I/

We shall get married/
Stop climbing trees/

We play not/

darkness growing ever stronger,
light growing just the same,
the balance of existance,
glowing like a living flame

burning through the heavens,
the skies above at night,
from evening's first star,
to dawns blazing light.

where does it go,
this path humanity leads
will we fall into darkness,
or go into the ligth that frees

us from this earthly existance,
into something so much more,
will we remember everything?
about all that has gone before?

or are we doomed to repeat,
the path that history trode
i hope not for our sake,
repeated mistakes are best left alone.

so remember to look back in life,
once every now and then,
to avoid repeating the same mistake,
and falling down again.

darkness


i drown in darkness
pain leaves me blind
sometimes i wonder,
how you can find

beauty in pain
and have peace of mind,
because i don't know how,
death is a drain.

i walk the streets
and halls at school
i see pain all the time,
i'm not a fool.

i see through the lies,
the deceptions, the games,
there's nothing really there,
it just isn't the same.

as a sincere smile
on somebody's face
as the realize,
that in this place,

there's no suffering,
no death,
no horror
nor pain.

no lies and games,
no need to save face,
no worries at all.
just a peaceful place.

in these things
i find beauty resides.
no darkness, no fight,
just a radiant light.

but dark i suppose
has it's own beauty too
i just don't know it,
i don't have a clue.

someday i'll learn
someday i'll see
that there's beauty in dark,
and in light, you'll see.

As the moonlight flows over all/
I think of the rowan, straight and tall/
How it hopes and thinks and dreams of all/

some thoughts and my condolences about the Virginia Tech shooting.



it's once again that time of year
when the world is filled with hate and fear
where no one is safe,
and it's never clear

what has happened
these few days past,
it all happened
way too fast

thirty two innocents lost in a day
there really isn't anything to say
but how could this happen
there's darkness today.

the abyss back it's calling once more
another step closer than we were before
pain is rampant, and so is despair.
what can we do? it's not even fair.

i wish the words i'm sorry,
could ease the pain you feel,
i wish i could change the past,
this just doesn't seem real.

to all of you out there,
who mourn the dead this day,
i send you my condolences
and may peace come your way.

All mine is here, but I might as well post one outside of that... This one was written about a lady I'm crazy about, and when she read it, she told me it brought tears to her eyes and made her heart swell, and I've been pretty much melted over that one ever since. *grin*

she's Aphrodite under that kiss curl
and she doesn't know you watch her
pursing her lips to blow it away.
she's just how you want her to be.


fingertips pressed against her temple,
the goddess waits, unmoving;
her day has been long.
you've come to break her vigil
and as her head rises, her eyes come alight and she smiles...

Oh, cool! I am going to start posting my poetry here. Don't be freeked out because of the old english I use though. I just read too much Shakespear. Anyway yah, I will start putting my poetry up soon. I hae a LOT of it.

In every smile, a tear remains
In every laugh a tragedy.
Thus is life when naught is kind
And peace on earth is hard to find.

But in that strife a lesson shared
And in that pain the sorrow beared
For we as children all can see
That nothing good can come from "WHY ME?"

So when you feel the pity, ware!
For worse a fate is lurking there.
Instead be glad of what you have
And feel the Pain draw back in fear

Don't you love it when you get these weird impulses in the middle of the night to write something, anything? And wonder what you were thinking once you read it in the morning?

Yeah, that's most of the time how I write poetry. Just a crazy idea at midnight or later. I mean, once I wrote a poem about ice cream, and when I read it in the morning, I wondered if I was psychoneurotically disturbed. (crazy)

next is on love. starts sad, gets better

a word of meaning,
a word of hop[e,
a word of sorrow,
a word that makes you mope,
love and heartbreak,
joy and sorrow

to fly above,
to plummet at loss of love
to cry out in joy,
tpo cr when in pain
is there nothing from which love refrains?
that it warms you up.
then tosses you in the rain?
to curse us with undying pain?
is it worh ti, this undying curse,
that tears at our hearts,
that treats us like dirt,
like we're some unending purse,
filled with love and never turse?

to pull out our feelings, to give us this curse?
and drive us towards that one last ride,
in some terrible black hearse?
is it worh it, this undying curse?
i wish to say no,
but the answer, i know...
is yes
for love is no curse,
love is not hate,
though it can drive us crazy,
and make us irate,
the line may be thin
but yet it is there,
that line between the horid and the fair
oh, it is there
love is a wonder, a marvel of life
and what would love be if it had no strife,
for life has its pain,
life has its joy,
amnd love, as life, is not just some toy
you don't play for a time.,
make a few rhymes,
then tosss it aside,
for some noew thing,
som new ride
love is eternal, love is the life,
and though it will always have its strife.
love is a wonder
love is a joy,
a thing of doubles, a thing that tears awalls to rubble,
love is a forece, stronger then a dozen horses,
