Wow...Tui thought I was 17...I must be mature...

    Anyway...URG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The prefect dress is gone, gone gone...I tired on 30 dresses today and I found NOTHING!!!

I think that my mom is going to end up making my dress, which is good because she's an excellent dress maker.

Now I have to find the perfect pattern...and some rhinestones to glue on...

    Any ideas for a pattern?

Oh...and strapless looks fine on me...I have an AMAZING bra. And my mom makes dresses, so there's LOTS of stuffing lying arround my house...*raises eyebrows*
As for falling down...my mom is going to make it so it'll be fine...

I'm not sure about other stuff though...I think that I an empress waist since I'm just a tad chubby...Other than that, who knows?

The biggest problem is going to be decoration. I'm thinking either rhinestones or beady thing-a-ma-bobs....

Oh...and I have no ideas what color to get!

    Please share your opinions!!!

Oh, damn, I got it wrong. Well who cares. (I do. Oh well.)

Your mom making it sounds awesome- I'm going to ask my granma to make my dress this year. *excited* Not that I have any idea what it's going to be like, but I'm sure I'll find out.

Pattern I have no idea- but you really seemed to like that dress, so maybe something similar? I would suggest some places to go, but they'd all be NZ ones so you wouldn't know them anyway. As for strapless, if your mom's making it then, yeah, that at least partly helps that problem. Decoration.... toughie. No idea whatsoever, ditto colour. Er, good luck??

My friend (only 12) design's dresses for weddings of our teachers. She also does jewelery. One of the 3rd grade teachers used her designs for her bridesmades (sp)! I would go with a red/purplish color for myself.... I don't know what you look like so I don't know what color I should suggest to you.

I need help! My little bro's B-day is coming up. What would you want if you were a 10-year-old boy?

I have no idea what to get him.....(Something I can afford at least.)

Zgirl2003-yugio cards, magic cards, food...those work for all the little kids I know...

I spent ALOT of time last night looking up patterns online. I found this one that looks EXACTLY like Eowyn's dress in RotK (click here). I really like it, and considering that my entire school is obsessed with LotR, I'm thining about that one...

That dress design looks awesome! Are you going to get it in that color?

FireWitch: That looks nice, comfortable (easy to dance in), and flattering (make sure your mum gives it a little extra space in the tummy so it doesn't emphasize anything there -- if it's too snug, it will show anything you don't want to show.) If you are having a sit-down dinner before the dance, mind the long dagged sleeves. They look less-than-elegant dragged through your salad, and they will, unless you can keep them pulled back.

I agree. You really have to watch stomach and chest sizes, because if it's too small, everyone's waiting for something to pop out of there, but if it's too big, you look like a baggy saggy slob who didn't have the time to buy a nice dress. But dresses always make me really uncomfortable...I am not a friend of gravity.

Fire witch, that is a VERY prettyfull dress. I'd go with that one, but I agree with the dagged sleves part, trust me I know from the dresses I make that you have to be careful. Are you going with that color also?
BTW:Prettyfull is my new best compliment for anything. *nods*

                        I need ideas on a school project...(Please don't suggest a book report.)

                        My assignment is:
1.To get one non-fiction book or topic
2.Do a project with this topic.

I already read about 1million cookbooks with my friends and we cooked the food and brought it in to scool. ( That was an A project.)
I need more ideas for creative projects I could do with non-fiction books.

FireWitch, that's an awesome dress. Are you going to sew it in white? It would be really pretty, the only problem with white is that it gets dirty really easily. What are the chances of it getting dirty? If it might, I might do it in something like blue or red.

Zgirl...I have trouble thinking of ideas. Do you know what topic you're doing? You could build a model of something, make a short film about it, do a skit, write a song, paint a picture, um, um, um, that's about all I can think of right now.

Any ideas for Shakespeare? I have to research modern interpretation of his plays, i.e. films, musicals, modern language, modern costumes, anything that has to do with Shakespeare today, then give a short presentation on it for my class. I'm not really sure what to do. I would re-write a scene with up-to-date language, but I haven't read that much Shakespeare, and I'm not sure whether I would be able to make much sense of it in time to present.

Ok thanks for the idias LT! But I haven't started reading shakespeare yet.... (I'm only in the 6th grade!)
And for this project I don't have a topic but I need a book to go along with it.
                            (It's for English class.)

OK, Z what non-fiction stuff do you like? I know this really neat idea that you could do, but you have to narrow down your topic to something you like, my idea also depends on what you like.
Firewitch, LT is right, if you do that color depending on where this is going to be it may get dirty. Also from expeirence, here the first thing the girls do is take off the shoes we NEVER wear them, and we have the floor 2nd so it is really dirty! Last time my feet were as black as my friend's dress. So you do want to pay attention to that.

Z: can you do an autobiography or a biography? That's non-fiction, you just have to choose someone interesting... And then use LT's ideas, they're good ones, but short films are HARD! They're fun to do, *thinks back to 5th grade and laughs* I had to do something for the book: Mrs.Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. Our movie was funny, but stupid. We used beanie babies. You don't want to know. But models are good, and for biograpys a skit would be cool....
