  • Emergency!

Oops, didn't mean to do that. Anyway, I don't have an emergency, but sometimes--when you need exam help or whatever--we could use this for emergencies that AREN'T about YWW. Chatter. If no one is on, or can go to chat, you could post here and hope it's answered soon. Savvy?

Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to false you. BUt anyway, I was on the other day because I needed help on something, and no one was here. I was like, "CRAP!" So if you see someone has posted here, I thought you could go there and answer them--hope it works.

*cracks up* I'm sorry, bc, sorry sorry sorry. I'm just... in one of those moods. </SPAM>

Anyway, it is a good idea, though I'm not sure what emergencies are urgent, while not being so urgent that it's pointless to post them here...
Actually, I could have used some help with this cursed torte this morning. >.< It failed (burnt.) Ah well, better luck next time.

Like that. Where you have ten hours till your best friend or whatever comes and then you messed up the cake. What would you do? I have no idea, but maybe someone here does. Anyway, I think it's rather a bogus idea, but my best friend came forced to make it. She said, "You guys need this! Come on! Remember the cookies?" GRAR. Anyway, Tui, it's ok. I think this topic is crack-up too. I would steadily remove your feet from your shoes, because it's serious dehydration.

FireWitch: I seem to remember you saying something about being a blonde? If you've got pale coloring, you're good for a lot of colors. Depending on what's expected, you might want to go for something jewel-toned; that's almost always a good bet. Or, if you've got the complexion, something pastel. Of course, if you're a dirty blonde or even a strawberry blonde, I wouldn't choose something too icing-ish. Black's a good fallback as well, if you dress it up with a sparkly, patterned, or otherwise interesting scarf to keep from looking somber. As for cut...sorry, but all I can say is that whatever suits the occasion...suits the occasion.
Thus speaks the one totally fashionless, who will take no responsibility for FireWitch's actions.

*amused* I have no idea about this kind of stuff, but Clara (my french exchange sister) says:
ok, the black long dress and quite simple is great but like i said, it s simple so you can also try to find something blue night and add some accessories in your hair but you need to have a contrast between your skin, your hair and your dress. also, don t wear a strong make up but wear a red or dark lip stick but apart from mascara and a bit of eye liner, don t put any eye shadow or a discrete one. have a discrete blush , nothing too strong !! Have a great ball !!

Tui says: *grins* I'll second that last comment. Just one thing to think about: lots of people always wear black. *nods* S'why I wore colour, though of course it really depends more than anything on what you like. "cause if you feel good, you look it.

I said earlier to not wear black, and what I meant was plain black. My friend wore black silk and AHHHH!!!! But if she had had sequins or a scarf or whatever, it would have been lovely. Anyway, I think it's funny she looked like that--she's rather a prat....
Kitsune--be patient. It's probably a connection issue or something. I would guess he's really sorry. Just give him time. He'll email you. And try hot chocolate, maybe?

Guys are just careless...they tend to forget very important things. For instance:
My semi-bf spent ten minutes telling me about cheese fondu before he told me that he could take me to winter formal...

                              Back to my crisis...
I found the PERFECT dress. It's a polo/ralph lauren one. It's a red, strapless ballgown with dark red velvet roses. It has a big poofy skirt. The petit sizes (I'm a total migit) fit me perfectly. The problem:
                              1. I can't seem to FIND the petit ones anywhere.
                              2. When I find them, I also need to find $150 !

Do you think it's worth it? I thik that the dance itself causts around $50, picts are around $20, and dinner is probably $20, and I have no idea about bags, shoes, etc. My parents have offered to help pay for it, but I feel kinda bad about that. What should I do?
