Oath Haiku (and other poetic forms)

when chat doesn't work
it's really quite unfair
because you can't talk

with people who are
there and alone but you want
to be able to.

It makes me sad that
I always miss the chats, as
I 'member them well...

I miss my good friends,
and the fun times that we had.
When will it return?

Chatting with others
living elsewhere on this blue
planet. I miss that.

What must we do for
it to return? I wish that
we had not lost it...

Though, I do not think
it would be the same without
PM always there...

Maybe it is better
to remember it fondly.
A thing of the past...

Sounds like a sentence... and doesn't really follow the more season-themed type haikus that are traditional. I wonder if a : is allowed?
