Wish I had time to reply to everything I want to, but I have a bad, bad migrane, I did something to my thumb, and I have class...
Garrett, I know I said this to you on facebook and everything already but.. i am so, so sorry... my thoughts are with you. =( We're here for you buddy..
In bad news here, besides the OWMYTHUMB and OHHHMYHEAD, apparently I'm trying to steal a boyfriend. Hah! The guy's my buddy, and the girl is... well, let's just say if you're in highschool already, college is NOT different. Well. There's more people. So. You can imagine.
96Bookworms- how much snow do you have in your part of PA? Here on NJ coast we fiiiiiiiinnally got some rain to melt the snow away!!! And then I got an e-mail from the school talking about ANOTHER nor'easter! Seriously. You must get the same news I do. HOW many nor'easters has this been this winter? Four? Honestly, people...
Okay. I haven't been on the forums in like a week and I feel very guilty, so I'll definitely be back after class. Science class! Oh. Fun story with that, too. Tell you later! ^_^..................~*Wolf*~..................

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, Garrett. Sympathies are with you
Silvered Blue- I love it! That competition sounds really cool. Fun facts are awesome.....did you know that chimpanzees are caniballs? Thats just scary....i thought they were so cute!
Trialia- congrats on the flat!
Wolf- a lot of our snow has melted, but it's still VERY icy. most of our sidewalk is ice, but its cool, because you can see footprints that have frozen into the snow.
Not much is going on here. school is schoolAll good books are alike in that they are truer than if they really happened. And after you are finished reading one you feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you: the good and the bad, the ecstasy, the remorse, and the sorrow, the people and the places, and how the weather was.

Oh, Garrett. My heartfelt condolences to you and yours. May you find strength and peace in the weeks to come.
...
96bookworms: Ew, really? Okay, um, fun fact about...Desiderius Erasmus!
(My current school project right now.) Born c.1466, he was a classical Latin scholar, and he originated the saying, "Pandora's box". It was originally 'pithos' or storage jar, but he confused it with the word for box.
Pandora's storage jar...hmmm, maybe I'm crazy, but it reallly doesn't have the same ring to it...lol
Wolf: You're back! I missed you! Come back more ooooooftennnnn!!!
Hey, speaking of my competition (
) - Did I say my trio needed a name? Well, anyway, it does, and I'm stumped. Anyone got ideas? We're a piano, cello, and flute, and our first piece was Autumn Evening (from Three Watercolors) by Philippe Gaubert. (Pronounced go-BEAR, because it's French.) Much appreciated, dah-lings.
I'm trolling through music forums for ideas and I found that one (classical!) trio is called The Suspicious Cheese Lords. *falls over laughing* Wow, just wow...

I've seriously been ignoring any and all news snow-related. March is almost here, right? Isn't that the time for thunderstorms and warm weather? Come on now!
SilveredBlue - i miss you tooo! =)
96bookworms - uber random question for ya... do you listen to 933, WMMR? And if you do, do you listen to Preston & Steve? (And does anyone else podcast them?) I know I've bumped them before, but really.. their podcasts keep me saaaane.
Uhmmm I really did have more productive things to say, but it's almost 1 am here and i just took a "nap" even though I meant to sleep. Life of a college student. Ugh. Okay. KK will know what I'm talking about when i say my brain is DONE. Typing that one sentence, my brain told my fingers to type "stupid" instead of "student" which I guess could be used interchangeably. =P Baaaack to bed for me. Heehee.
But I will definitely start thinking of names for your trio, SB! I think it should be a pun. A pun on music, something briiiillantly created, or something so bizarre and not related to music at all. Give me an idea and I'll run with it. Tis the nature of the writer, as I know you all know. <3..................~*Wolf*~..................

I'm so sorry, Garrett. *hugs* It hurts like crazy to lose a parent, no matter how old you are when it happens.Originally posted by Garrett Fitzgerald View PostAnd thanks for saving me from a one-liner. Sunday evening, my mom went to the hospital with acute pancreatitis; this morning, she died.
This suddenly must be... I can't really imagine. (I knew years before my mother died that she was going to, so I have no experience with sudden.)
*hugs you more*Las Vegas Boulevard is jammed, and I'm in love...

The only music pun I can think of right now is "You chello believe it!" Soo.... I'm not much help. OHMYGOD. Have you guys seen the Pachelbel Rant?! I forgot I'd seen it, and my friend showed it to me again tonight, and it's fabulous. I might go watch it again. *promptly brings it up on Youtube* Funny part is, one of my facebook quotes is from when my friends and I were leaving a coffee house....
I love my friends."What are you guys still doing here?"
"Do you have any idea how long it takes to get a cello into a car?!"
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdxkVQy7QLM"]By the way, here's the link to Pachelbel's Rant. Even if you're not a musician, I guarantee you will watch this and enjoy. =D[/ame]
Now my spellchecker's yelling at me cuz it's 1:33 in the morning and I can't think properly... so it must be time to get off the computer.

I love that rant. I've watched it over and over again and I still laugh every time XD. It's really well done. I really like the end of it, where he goes through all of the songs
I have my engagement party tomorrow
. My fiance and I have actually been engaged for 4 months, but due to travel and stuff, we're only just getting around to celebrating officially with family and friends. We went to a wedding expo the other weekend. So scary. Everyone there is trying to take more of your money because its for a wedding. I bet if you just told them it was for a party, they wouldn't charge so much :S.

SilveredBlue - Glad you enjoyed it!!! ^_^
Alla - ohmygosh congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trialia - That is so cool!! Friends are fantastic.
Soooo DD totally replied to me on twitter again. Made me all bouncy again.
It was about snowwwwww. Which speaking of, Jersey got POUNDED again! Today I don't mind, though... I kind of had a Lit test I was gonna fail (!!!) and that science class I don't ever really look forward to going to. Ohyes. And theatre. Sitting in theatre class = NOT A REAL THEATRE CLASS. I know I'm too much of a Stage Crew junkie, but the phrase "theatre class" just feels like an oxymoron... right?
So ok everyone... Wolf is going to HIDE from the snow because quite frankly she's had enough of it... and play farmville... then curl back up in bed and play pokemon, maybe... heehee.... childhood memories.
And never speak in third person again. =P..................~*Wolf*~..................

Heehee, snow... All of ours is melting and I feel kind of glad about that. I really was missing everything getting canceled. I may be reasonably antisocial, but there's only so long I can stand being away from my friends.
Wolf: Ahahaa, such a funny video!
Garrett: *hugs*
SilveredBlue: The Suspicious Cheese Lords? I really want to hear their music now...
I dunno about thinking up a trio name, though a pun would be fun, I bet. All of my friends and I often have fun thinking up band names, but I doubt any one of those would work. The Beard Patrol, anyone?
I'm getting a new laptop! What happened to my old one...well...long story short: It broke, I sent it to tech support, it broke, I sent it to tech support, it broke, I sent it to tech support, it broke, sent to tech support again, the warranty ended, it broke, I fixed it, it broke, I am now unable to fix it, and if it keeps breaking, the cost of getting it fixed is going to be more expensive than just buying one that hopefully won't keep breaking.
Just a note: Dell Inspiron 1525s have weak hinges. Also, don't use them on airplanes. There is an extreme risk of damage. And Dell Support won't talk to me anymore because the warranty ran out, and they'll barely let me access the support part of their website. Learn from my epic failure at choosing a good computer.
And no, I don't think I'd get a Mac...unless it had Windows pre-installed, and I was able to get an apple-without-the-bite logo on it.
Dif-tor heh smusma.
