IT LIVES! Well, sort of. Goodness. My computer totally crashed the other day, so we had to start over. It seems like everything we had ever installed on the computer returned to haunt us. *big eyes* Yeah. Freaky. Everything's bigger, too. Like the font and all. Well, the computer's being slow, but so long as it lives, I'm okay. *huggles computer*
There are like 160+ kids in our grade. Right, Lovey? *shrug*
Kaiba: I'm short, too. Not terribly so, but enough that my nickname for years was Li'l [insert name here]. Now I'm just Little 'Mato. S'okay. *sigh*
OH NO. *groans* All my favorites dissappeared, so it will take a while to find out where all my RPG's are located. I won't be able to post for a while anyways, 'cause I'm leaving tomorrow for Disney World. I get back next Thursday, but I doubt that I'll have found all my sites by then.
Well, toodles for now!

...yeah, it's been a while.
there are 105 people in my class (i think.. not sure how many people they threw out last week after some drug bust- yeah, catholic school with major drug issues)
Anyway, I'm playing the Beast (aka: E flat contrabass clarinet) at graduation. The seniors have had practice all week in the mornings (meaning I get to miss class), so I've got pomp and circumstance irrevocably stuck in my head. And i;ve decided that next year, for my class' senior song, we're picking summat short and upbeat. This year's class' is SO SLOW... I feel like dying while they sing it (it also doesn't help that they're all waaaay off key). Oh well. Next year, for graduation, I will have been at so many practices anyway (this year and last year), that I'll know exactly which way to turn when we stand up and all those other good thinguses (we run a formal graduation). So that's nice.
Whee school is almost over!!! Wedenesday! And I have half days today, tomorrow, and monday for finals (two a day, except that we took our AP bio final with the seniors, so I don't have to worry about taking two tomorrow). Only american lit, trig/pre-calc, and ap us history left!!! ::dances:: then tuesday i get my class ring (finally) and thrusday we leave for Ireland!!!!! ::dances and sings as well as she can with a head cold::
so what are ya'll's summer plans?

My first (I think) post in the Topic of Great Randomness! On with the randomness:
My sympathy for pomp and circumstance! That has got to be one of the most boring pieces of music in existance (although possibly only because we poor band geeks have to play it over and over and...Ah, memories.
I have a friend who's in a college band at a big school and has to play at about 6-8 graduation ceremonies every year, poor boy.
Hmm. When I graduated from high school, our "class song" was "Time of Your Life" by Greenday - which surprised me, because in general "the class" and I disagreed on everything, and I like that song - and the morons who played it at Swing Out (mock graduation, reeeaaalllly boring) decided to stop halfway through and sing "We don't need no education" or whatever the song is.
My friend Shelly and I walked out.
I didn't much like my high school class. It's why I'm not enthused about the idea of class reunions...most of my friends were not in my class; they were one year older, or two or three years younger.
Of course, I've always loved school (except middle school, which was hellish) so I'm still going...college gets out a lot earlier, though. Me, my summer plans include trying to get my jewelry website up and running so I can actually start selling that way.
Anybody know anything about photography, image-editing, writing blurbs, php, osCommerce, and/or CSS want to help me out?

OMG Kaiba I'm so jealous of you since you get to go to France. I went there for spring break and loved it. (Sorry I keep talking about that but my friends won't let me talk about it so yeah...) I love the shopping there and I was suprised at how many asian people were there! I saw probably almost as many asian people as white people! Have fun.
Wildflower! My friends would love the penguin website, they all are obsessed with penguins. (Seriously our homeroom mascot is a penguin named Meelu.) And we pass out penguin stickers daily. Anyways one of my 'penguin' friends (9th grader) Is leaving for Taiwan today and I won't see her again! (Actually I might see her once in the year 2007 when I go to high school.) I wish I would've gotten her email and emailed that to her. *cries* (I'm using to many exclamation points and these () thingys today)
350 kids in my grade. And most of my friends aren't in my grade. Yes I'm weird. I also went to montessori school for preschool! eh. does that count? ^.^
Welcome to the wonderful TOGR Blue! (I'll call you blue if you don't mine.) I edit images a lot. But I don't know much about photography. (That's where the editing comes in.) I can maybe edit some things for you if you post the pictures on here!
Okay I have 5 finals to do: Math (with cheatsheet), Social Studies (every country and capital in the world+random facts), Science (something about frogs, my partner dissected the frog for me and flung its intestines onto my face. EWWW!), Art (at home final?), Music Studies (i've been studying music for 8 years so this isn't hard.) But tomoroww I get to stay at the amusement park ValleyFair from 9:00 to 6:00 for graduation. (I like our graduations better than your guys'.)penguins will rule the world.

And from that line, I can recognize that song! It's Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. And I don't even like Pink Floyd.Bluesalamanders:

Listening to Franz Ferdinand. And singing it in chat, too. Blame it on billybob. She said, "billybobjr *lays out in pain*" so I said, "Broken, shattered I lie," and Nita tried to guess it, guessed Evanescence, and it was FF's Take Me Out! Oh, oo la la la la la lalalalala.
Heck yeah, but Gryph is a slacker... For Image editing, get Photoshop. I have PhotoshopCS2, I think. Something like that, anyway. And CSS is great for what you're talking about -- where you don't type up every page; it's generated. Along with the outline that tells what is to be generated, you'd have each use the same CSS style sheet which would be saved as a .css file instead of .html. The CSS would say _eveything_ you'd ever need for your entire website, and it's just one style sheet.Blue:

CARMEN! *spazzes* SOMEONE SAID CARMEN! *begins to sing "Toreador" theme* We studied it in music class, and watched part of the video. It looks like Carmen had a death wish, because she basically ran straight into DOn Jose's knife. Noice.
Tomorrow is Field Day! YAY! And I got an A on my research paper and a really nice comment from my history teacher! DOUBLE YAY!

Iron Wolf . Then I went on the Demon , which had two corkscrews and loops in a row and went in a cool tunnel! I wont bother to list the rest of the little ones.
But the most totally awsome coasters were the Batman , the Superman, Ultimate Flight and then the ULTIMATE one ever, THE RAGING BULL! A girl died (eating gum) on this ride two years ago, but the ride is still awsome!!

Well, see, the whole point is to get someone else to do the image editing. I've been doing it all myself for the past few years (and a lot longer before that, if we talk about other crappy webpages and sundry other stuff) and I'm tired of it. I'm not that good at it, and I'm just tired of it. I also don't have the patience to learn a new computer program right now, so while I could do some stuff with Photoshop (I've used it), I couldn't use it to full effect, so it would be kind of wasted on me.Heck yeah, but Gryph is a slacker... My site actually does have CSS already in use. My host has a deal with the store-creation-thingie osCommerce, which uses php, mysql databases, and some CSS. I'm trying to get the site up and running (which is a lot harder than a pre-packaged-store-program sounds like it should be in theory) and even if I do get everything working, well, it's not very pretty, and (particularly) since I'm sell jewelry, I want it to be a pretty site.
I'm not seriously asking for help - or, I am, but I don't seriously expect anyone to actually help (oh how jaded I have become), since everyone who's offered in the past few years has gone back on their word at least once, if not more.

Eep Gryph! I love Franz Ferdinand too! :: cues up Michael and dances around::
I heart roller coasters. They are so insanely awesome, it isn't funny. I want to join the American Coaster Enthusiasts one day. The best coaster I ever went on was the Outer Space-Ailen themed one at King's Dominon. My friend Kit screamed, "Caitlin, I'm gonna kill you!" the entire ride. (Actually, come to think of it, she yelled that on every coaster we went on that weekend... at one point I really did fear for my life, too...)
Heh. Nothing beats the dissections in my AP Bio class this year. Hidden for the excessively squeamish. <span class="ev_code_WHITE">When we dissected pidgeons, my parter went to pull the feather's off it's neck and all teh skin came off and juice came pouring out. That was pretty nasty (it was a good thing i didn't have time to eat breakfast that morning...we had lab first and second period).</span> And then when we did turtles, one of the guys took their turtle's bladder and such and was squirting it. Mr. Euclide's reaction when he got hit with the spray was priceless. And the guys also made a huge deal about having to spread the legs of the fetal pigs when we did those. That was just wrong. And freshman year, when we did starfish, one of the guys went a little overboard and ended up with this big pile of starfish mush on his dissection tray. He wasn't allowed to dissect for the rest of the year. My parter for that dissection kept whacking me with the starfish. That was quite strange feeling. I'm not much of a dissection person, myself. Thankfully this year my partner Mary was a senior and she wants to be a nurse, so she wanted some practice. I was more than willing to take a secondary role in the disection. I'm not sure why. I didn't use to be this squeamish. meh, who knows?Originally mentioned by Zgirl:

I'm so bored. I don't have exams today; I am exempt, so no school... but then, my brother isn't home. I don't know when his exams start. For the last hour, I was pacing back in forth in my kitchen, kicking at the air and singing to Hoobastank. Fun, but it's kinda sad when you do that for an hour. Cinnamon kept on popping in and out, the mooch. All he wants is food.
I... don't like roller coasters. I don't feel in control, and I definitely don't feel like I'm on the ground -- afraid of heights!!! I remember riding on Thundermountain at Disneyworld, and I was crying before the end. Oh god, I'll never do that again in my life.

I hate rollar coasters. They freak me out, with the fast part, and the high off the ground part, and the people die on the ones at cedar point part, and etc, etc. Sorry just saw the word rollar coaster and flipped out. I'm so bored, I was just playing Sims for about 3 hours as a result of being bored. Never get me on the computer when I'm bored. I do weird things like make Sims eat so much they get fat.
