Anyway, Happy Christmas, all! I'd like to note that it is Christmas Eve Day, in the dead of winter, and it is 54 degress Fahrenheit outside. I'm stunned (and above the tropics in the northern hemisphere). All of last week's snow has gone away (almost), so we shan't have a white christmas, but it is nice and warm. And very unlike Christmas. Hrm...

Same here Caitlin...it sort of kind of really really stinks that there's no snow here right now. But tomorrow, we're supposed to get freezing rain and sleet! Joy to the world, I don't want to get in a car with my mom if it's sleeting. She hates to drive.

Yeah, I know: it's 12:45 in the morning of Christmas. Hungry's got to be insane, right? No, actually, I'm fine. This always happens on Christmas: I stay up late reading, or going online or something. This year, I even have a new book to read, since my sibs and I gave each other our presents to each other on Christmas Eve (since technically it's been Christmas Day for 45 minutes) so we can sort of have a taster of what's to come in the morning. And my parents gave us our big gifts from them too: I got my class ring (it's so shiny...I like it lots) and they gave us DDR. I LOVE DDR!!! I wanted to skip church to stay home and play it. I'm very bad at DDR, but I'm enthusiastic...which has to count for something! XD

My laptop got really messed up this afternoon, and I don't know why. Dad, the magic computer wizard, fixed it up though, and made me very happy. I'm not good with computers...and it shows when stuff like that happens to mine.

Well, I'm going to go read something...Merry Christmas all! Or, if you don't celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays!

a belated Season's Greetings guys! And how is everyone? I haven't posted in here for ages.

well, my christmas haul was good. I got a new <STRIKE>cell</STRIKE> (ah! I cannot belive I just typed that!) mobile phone which is really cool some clothes, another pair of thongs, and a new pen and bag from my aunt . The pen is soo cool. Its green and metal and really smooth to write with .

Oh, I also have a massive poster of a Dalek blutacked on my wall now .

Nintendo DS, jamie? nice... one of my friends has one of them. I was pondering getting one, but I'd never use it now that I have access to a laptop .

Happy Christmas/Channukkah/insert other holiday here! I know it's a little late, but better late than never!

I had quite a strange Christmas. First off, my dad is back, which means he practically demanded that I go to his house for Christmas. So mom got us on Christmas morning - I got around 10 books, a bunch of giftcards, and some other awesome stuff that I asked for. Then I opened the big present that was actually very very small: an iPod shuffle. I'd been waiting to open it on purpose, because I knew it was a little too expensive and wanted to have time to gush over it. Even though it was the smallest iPod, I knew that mom and my brother couldn't get anything more, so it was special.

Then we drove to my dad's house (an hour-long drive with a broken window - not cool). Dad wasn't even there when we got there; it took 20 minutes for him to come back from the store. Supposedly. Then we opened our presents. As ususal, there was an overload of lame things - a cross necklace, a PINK SWEATER (made of some strange material), PINK GLOVES, a PINK SCARF, and an ornament of some sort.
And as usual, there were the uber-expensive presents that were the ONLY things dad knows we want. $100 giftcards (mine was to Borders) mostly.
And as usual, there were the uber-expensive presents that were complete shots in the dark about what we like. My brother got some robot-dinosaur thing, my sister got a one-piece gymnast outfit (???why???), my brothers got a little motorcycle thing (which we weren't allowed to take home).

And as usual, dad played favorites. Or he was trying to make up for forgetting to get me a birthday present. Either way, I ended up with the best present: a 4GB iPod nano (and a $50 iTunes giftcard).

So now I had two iPods, and since dad was trying to buy me, he'd gotten me one of the best, whereas mom was trying to make me happy, so she'd gotten me the best she could. This has already caused problems. My siblings are extremely jealous to the point of throwing a fit and refusing to speak to me (my sister, but she's over it now), and my mom is a little sad I think. Basically, I haven't used the shuffle at all, and though my sister's been hoarding it anyway, I feel guilty.

Other than that, Christmas rocks. No school, no work, no bedtime. My brother didn't go to sleep until 5:30! It's sooo fun.

...*searches mind for something interesting*...I went to Borders today. I saw a girl reading Yu-Gi-Oh! Movie manga. I _almost_ said something, but instead I read some of the YGO Duelist manga. Then I went to Target. And bought more stuff for my nano. And saw one of my only guy friends, which (typically) led to a "dreadfully embarassing" (my words) scene, though I'm not going in to detail. My family seems to think that me + guys = bad, so they do everything to keep boys away from me. Supposedly, I'm not allowed to date until I get my master's degree. (Though mom suspects that I'm dating already - which I'm not.)

...Okay, now I'm just typing because I'm bored. Maybe I should stop. Bye!

ahh...the aftermath of a pretty good Christmas that I actually wasn't as excited for....I suppose that's becuase I helped pick out most of my gifts before-hand...that strikes me as odd...

Well, I do believe that I have beaten my record for the most pages read in one day....I believe I read either 4 or 5 books....I can't remember which. That was cool.
I got a whole buncha books like Ruby Holler, 2 volumes of Heartland (ok, so I have a thing for horses), Little Women (which I'm halfway through) The Secret Garden (done already. awesome book), The Ledgend of King Arthur, Inkspell (dying to get into), The Golum's Eye,, and the Penultimate Peril. Yay for new books!

has anyone here ever heard of the book Zel? It's a short story, but surprisingly good. (Ok, it's like 100-200 pages, but that's short enough). For some reason I fell in love with tit, and I don't know why....(eww, not that wasy! You people are gross!)

I was up till 3 last night cause 2 of my friends slept over. WE ended up reading from these kiddie books we still have in out basement such as Dr. Seuss and Henry Quackenbush books (Sherlock Chick and Henry goes west and such). It was fun, and it made me sleepy. I always feel better after a few good books.

Well, I have to take a shower now....I swear, my hair gets soo greasy, its gross!

Wow, you guys had a way better Christmas than me to write so much. Mine was...incredibly boring. I got...one official present, and the 3 other presents were food. At least the present was an iPod Shuffle, which makes up for most of everything...

Heh, you should've seen my science/math teacher on the last day of school. She absolutely loves Dr. Seuss (and isn't ashamed of it), so she had us watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon version). So throughout the movie, if you sat close enough to her, you could hear her singing along and reciting the thing...

Hi guys! I'm in a very good mood today, for no reason...yeah. Christmas. Mine was good. Got my class ring, which was my big present...but it also was my smallest. It's all good, I got a Borders giftcard, so I bought myself 2 new books...which made me very happy. Ummm...I got some sweaters that I wanted so I don't freeze at school, and some Under Armor shirts and a new pair of running tights (which I really needed) and a Barnes & Noble giftcard (I'm only shopping there if I have giftcards there from now on. The cashiers there hate me because I'm a teenager, which is dumb. And age-ist.) Hmm...I got an iTunes giftcard, which I haven't spent yet, which is weird. I always spend those things the moment I get them...and a giftcard to my favorite local coffee place, so next time I have to pull an all-nighter I'll be able to get some good coffee to keep me awake.

I don't know...I really don't want break to end, because then I have to go back and start worrying about my math grade...gr. Oh well...

There's no snow here. We're having a December thaw. I don't want to believe it. It's sad. I want mountains of snow like we had in the beginning of December, because I really want to go sledding. Sort of childish, but I need something fun like sledding to do right now.

Going to a basketball game tonight between my high school and the boys high school my dad teaches at. Not sure what team to support...my friends say I should wear a shirt from both, and switch shirts depending on who's winning. I told them that that's a good way to get beat up XD. It's going to be fun. Before we leave, my cousin's going to show me the rabbit she got for Christmas. Supposedly, it's really cute. Her last two rabbits died, one from natural causes, and the other because it got maggots (which was the grossest and saddest thing ever.) Hope this one lives awhile...I like rabbits.

Okay, going to go do my math homework. Why? So I'm not doing it last minute on Monday night. See you all later.

Gah, today we have to clean. All day long. I'm a very unorganized person, and I hate cleaning/organizing/moving-any-sort-of-object-for-the-sake-of-uncluttering-something. >_< But tomorrow we're having a big New Years party, with like 100 people. And considering the fact that the house is a complete mess, it means I'll have to force my siblings to work all day long! Yeah, when duty calls, I'll get out of the way (and make me younger sisters work).

I'm getting a hair-cut today! My hair is like 2 and a half feet long or something, but all year I've been straightening it and frying it to death, so now it's basically... dead. X_x So I have to cut some of it off. *cries* And I want bangs, too, while they're at it.

I agree. I dread returning for school, because when I do, I will have to take the math finals, and my "C" in math will drop down to a "D" or lower >_> (I suck at math...)

I wonder what I would do with $100 for Borders... *buys a ton of manga manga anime manga more manga*... and the iPod and iTunes is an awesome gift as well, because iPods are one of the coolest things. (But green iPods are even cooler! ^_~) Oh yeah, I want that Roboraptor thing your bro got, those are so awesome.
