Hey, Rhyanon! Welcome to the forums. I'd run you through the basics, but midterms have fried my brains. They went well... I probably did better on language arts than on math, but ah well.

I've been reading Mount Dragon, another book by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. This one is about bio-warfare or just genetically enginered/altered pathogens. S'really neat.

I get the joke, but I've never read the books or heard the radio thingy of it. Look at what being around all of you has done to me!

Ok. There are a few rules/guidlines that we follow. They're common to most other rules from most message boards. Kli6's Board FAQs thread in the newbie topic covers most stuff.

I will add: Beware of the Tumbleweeds, especially Wildflower44. I can control the others, but she is on the OTHER SIDE.

But yeah. Most of us are a little on the crazy side. Especially sharklord, but thats a story for another day

I started reading the first book, but then forgot about it and had to return it to the library and didn't remember to check it out again.... got far enough for the Thursdays part though. I quite like that line actually.

two more days of tests... I think I'm going to go even more insane. Tomorrow I have math and English... gah. I don't really like math, but I'm fairly good at it, and I love English, but I hate essays (which is what I'll have to do tomorrow... a timed write on Macbeth. joy of joys). Stupid finals count for 20% of my semester grades... At Least I got an A on my Driver's Ed. final today. I can get my permit end of February. woohoo!!

Right now, I am reading Time of the Twins (Dragonlance book). Been awhile since I've read Dragons of Spring Dawning, and the other two in that trilogy, but I'm finding things coming back to me with this book.

Anyways today at school my glasses broke so I had to walk around school with my glasses hooked on one ear and balanced on the other. It was really embarassing. At first i was thinking "this would be a great time to see what people would say if I got contacts." Not a good idea. People said so many mean things about me without my glasses. Which is good because I usually have my glasses on but...still.

That's so mean, Zgirl! People shouldn't make fun of other people. Glasses or no glasses. Yea... I guess it's just that those people who made fun of you weren't used to seeing you without glasses on. My older sister wears glasses and when she takes them off, it's like a whole element of her was missing... Yea so pay no attention to those who criticize (or however you spell it).

I think it was a lot of one line posts combined with the DD chat. She kind of freaked out about getting to talk to DD and began chanting in the chat in nonsensical, uncapitalized, and misspelled sentences.

Oh well, hopefully she learned something.

Exams are approaching quickly here. I am a good student so I don't have too much to worry about but I really should go study soon. Next week is going to be very hectic. Anyway, I hope everyone else suffering the onslaught of homework and tests will be able to come out of it ok

I really can't stand this...every year for three years I've gone to this camp in Ohio, where I used to live, with my friends there. It was especially important the year I moved-two years ago-and last year, because I was really missing them and I wanted to see them. But this year my family planned a big trip that we've been planning for awhile, and it overlaps the only session that all of the rest of my friends can go to. A bunch of them can't go to the other three sessions for our age group. I makes me so sad I can't even believe it. I'm literally crying as I write this. I never get to see these people except for once a year. I've known quite a few of them for about nine years. I miss them, and I want to visit them, but I looks like I might not get to this year.

I don't know what to do.

Hello everyone I am sorry I haven't been up to date for a while... I have been busy... with exams and such. Well EWizard i think you should talk to your parents about this... they should see some form of logiv in what you say... and if not try to have them up for a weekend or something... or a camp in your area... that would be good for you and fun for everyone... I hope this has been some help...

I can't believe it! I missed the DD chat lst saturday... I am so disgruntled... Oh well, life is short, so make with what you get...

Can anyone update me on what has been happening? I haven't been on for about four days and I am already lost... Oh well... Wellness to all..
