The Topic of Great Randomness

Ugh. Video games. Violence, violence, violence. I've heard some of the guys at my school talking about them, and mostly it's like, "Hey did you know there's this special setting for this weapon that lets you kill x people at a time?" And with all the terrible things in the world, and parents stress about movies like Saving Private Ryan, but allow their kids to play these sorts of games...

And there are many more Iraqi dead than Americans. No one really knows for sure. But, because they're Americans, they always get mentioned first, while the Iraqi civilian dead are always there kind of as an afterthought. May I add that Iraqi civilians include women and children?

Well, I always found FPS and TPS (the shooter games) to be a VERY good anger management. When I got angry at the world, I used to go play games and all like "DIE YOU STUPID *BLEEP!*" because yeah, I was angry. It's better than having me blow up at school or something. Or rather, better than me blowing up the school . . .

Honestly, if Canada ever falls into Anarchy, I WILL BURN MY SCHOOL TO THE GROUND. Of course, it's extremely unlikely Canada will fall into anarchy, so I'll just play more video games. Yep.

Thing is, you've really got to keep reality and virtuality completely seperate. . . and most kids are good at doing that.

HALO 2 IS FREKIN AWESOME MAN!! Okay, I havent really gotten past the first level yet but, I AM GETTING THERE! Last night we were going to play but our babysitter came reallllly late. So, my neighbors came over and we all went outside. (i might add it was like 45F outside) We played hide and go seek and just sat around and talked. They are very intristing people, I might add. They are 12, 14 and 15. And all guys. Cant complain though. They were really funny. Anyways, it was good fun.

Yes, the Iraqi death toll is larger than America's. And yes, the Iraqi ppl who are dying were the ones cheering and clapping as our towers went down and killed our brothers and sisters. Yes, we are at war. And yes, this may become WWIII. As much as I don't like it, it may come to that.

Omg, You are lucky Aurie. I wish the guy I like would ask me out, even though I would prob say no because I'm not allowed to date til I move out or something. No, no, nooooo!!! Nitafan, Sadam did _nothing_ to us. I don't see why Bush picked such an innoportune time to go off and 'liberate' Iraq. Iraqi terrorists didn't come here. No, that was Osama Bin Ladin, and he destroyed the twin towers, killing so many lives. Then BUSH started the war in Iraq. We went from Osama Bin Ladain to Iraq? Why? How? About the Iraqis being happy about us dieing, well, we don't dictate everyone's opinions. We're not the world's police, or at least we shouldn't be. Not like this.

Bush screwed up America. Lowering taces does NOT solve the problem. He's only screwing us more, if you didn't notice. Lowering taxes doesn't help anyone, 'cept the rich idiots who are the minority. Arrrgh!

ahh christams carols have started at work, and i would just like to say that the "other" version of Away in a Manger sounds stupid... we have two versions; one (i think its the one that americans sing) sounds totally weird ... probs cause i am used to the normal version (or Australia's version... i can "sing" them both, so if i am voice chatting, i can sing them to you guys if you want to know the difference...

Actually, Bush started the war because Saddam won't sell him his oil. Bin Laden, the one who's guilty for 9/11, is in AFGHANISTAN. NOT IRAQ. And you know Saudi Arabia? That's where the ones who DO sell oil to Bush are. His friends are there. And guess what? Those are also the ones who fund al-Qaeda. I'm gonna post this here to try to explain.

Yeah, Bush went to war with Iraq for a lot of stupid reasons. *cough* oil *cough* and they've been saying here that Bush wanted to go to war with Iraq cuz his dad didn't really achieve anything there...

I wrote a poem this morning called "Lunacy" because I was bored out of my mind.

I remember those,
summer's sultry nights
on my doorstep,
the lightning bugs dancing
like fire, through the sticky air.
I was awakened.
My senses throbbed, I
could feel the music
poundind in my ears and
my soul escaped me, as I
trying desperately to catch it,
leapt through the air.
And the moon
reflected in my milky eyes
that were entranced by it's
silver light,
that made it's beams my strings, and I,
a puppet dancing with the stars.
A pendulum of
white gold
swinging, rocking

And because I refuse to add to the politics discussion, I'm just going to go off on a great big rant thingie, mainly about computers/this website, but a little bit about my little brother.

I'm really frusterated with the computers right now. First of all, so this whole thing isn't really confusing, the computer my mom uses is named Bob, the computer I'm using is Harry (even though mom tried to name him Monica), and the new wireless-internet-connection-that-must-die is named Fred.

To begin with, I always thought this site had a great big pointless empty space next to the recently posted messages. But one day after clicking reload, I suddenly had a picure of a book, with scrolling messages coming up from it. Upon panicking and clicking reload again, it dissapeared forever, never to be seen again. I know it was supposed to be there, and I don't know if it's just Harry or not, because it wouldn't show up on Bob either. Can anyone else see it?
And sometimes when I click reload when I'm on this site, everything rearranges itself. Not always, but sometimes the recent postings, forum statistics, etc. are all bunched up on the side, or all on the bottom. Grr.

About Fred, the wireless internet modem's manual (Which happens to be about three pages long), said that once you had everything hooked up it would recognize the two computers as being connected.
It hasn't.
Grr again.

Oh, and I *accidentally* showed my brother more youngwizards fanart (The alien mall-crawling fiasco one, also by Semiramis), and he has a few questions. He would like to know how Dairine is running away, as she doesn't have legs in the picture, and he wants to know if Roshaun is really a boy why is he wearing a skirt. These are NOT my questions, they're his. And you don't have to answer, Semi. He's probably forgotten already.

Edit: I just tried the Google thing! That's really funny!! *Dies laughing at error page*
Oh, and if you click on a link to something that's been deleted on the YW page, like the old chat, you get a funny error page for that too.
