I CANNOT disect stuff! I keep thinking that it used to be alive... Gross! We had to disect a frog in science and it was nasty! I don't have good pictures of me. We got our yearbooks, and I've probably got the best school picture yet, which isn't saying much. I still need lots of people to sign it... My friend calls me a teacher's pet. I don't think I am... O well, not that it rilly matters.

I'm trying to read the Mallorean series again and I HATE it. I LOATHE it. Rah rah rah! What were you thinking, David Eddings? Ahhhhhhhh... It's so stupid and pointless and just messed up.

David Eddings wrote a book series called the Belgariad which was really good. The series that comes after it, The Mallorean, is awful! I finished the book and nothing happened until the end. NOTHING!!! Except Garion trying to figure out what this blot meant. Other bits were just wrong and the entire time. And he acts so STUPID!!!!!! Ahhhhh...

And it's so repetetive. The same things over and over and over again! When will it end? Oh, save me!!! Ahhh... and I'm sick of these stupid prophecies. Just kill them!

On a side note: Angel_Star, would you please check your email address to see why it's bouncing messages? Many messages to you from other Forum members are being bounced from your Internet provider with messages like this:

...Messages are also being bounced because they "contain inappropriate content". I can't imagine why this is happening, either.

These "bounced" messages are winding up in my and DD's email mailboxes every morning, and it's very annoying. Please find out what's going on and fix the problem.

Anyway, I guess I oughta read Eragon and tell you what I think. The Mallorean series is getting a bit better at Book 2, though it's still kinda annoying sometimes. Ugg. But ah well.

Lee and Angel_Star, it sounds like her e-mail system is being very very picky about message content. I suggest that Angel_Star creates an e-mail account somewhere else and tell youngwizards.net to send to that on instead. It wouldn't be the computer's fault, I think. I dunno...

I am so easily amused. That froguts website just totally entertained me, and brought me back to sixth grade, when we dissected an owl pellet in class.

In other issues, I'm having severe issues with sleeping soundly and I've been having some minor nightmares. Any suggestions?

If you're talking insomnia, and you're of Legal Age, maybe alcohol can help. But barring a nightcap, try a hot bath. That whole "Calgon take me away!" thing can work! Also, getting regular aerobic exercise helps relieve stress.

Another strategy that works for me is switching where I sleep from where I spent most of the evening's activities. For example, I don't watch tv in bed all evening, and then try to go to sleep. I watch tv in another room. Or if I'm tossing and turning in bed, I'll try sleeping on the living room couch.

And in the spirit of Randomness: I won a pen on E-Bay! I've got it disassembled, and I'm digging/soaking fossilized ink out of the feed. The nib looks a bit worn, but has great flex to it. Can't wait to resac the puppy and try 'er out. 80-year-old Waterman fountain pens are the best!

Hmm, Curious. I'll give it a shot tonight. I dunno why I've been so stressed lately. Probably just work, as usual. We've got this stupid patronizing annoying server company that we're contracted with, and they're annoying as hell. And they take forever to do anything, and they say they'll be there and they never show up, and then they bother to tell me that I don't know what I'm doing. Blah!

Pens are probably much better things to buy on ebay than furniture. After all, you have to consider shipping costs.
