Really, all I can really do is hope that she doesn't get it in her head to attack me or anything. But likely, she won't- character witnesses say she's not that crazy. But I could just imagine it if she did...

The first one lookes like... some person skidding to a stop. Notice his head is missing. Number two is a waffle person threatening to beat someone up with a telephone pole. Number three is a perscription symbol (Rx) strangling a fuzzy thing with a diamond shaped head. Number four are the rails that go down the side of steps.

I'm creeping through A Wizard's Holiday right now. Ooo... I want Roshaun to get what he deserves for being such a butthead!!! But then he just has to be some poopy guy who saves the sun. I mean, c'mon! He has to be a bratty character the entire book. Now he just decides to be useful?????? Raah! Oh, Dairine hasn't actually saved the sun yet or whatever, but I'm kinda assuming she does and Roshaun doesn't screw up. Another thing. Roshaun said that his planet used to have a small moon, but it burned up from the sun. Do you want me to tell you want would happen if our moon just dissapeared? It would be catastrophic, no lie. The moon holds this planet stable, this meaning that it keeps the weather at a somewhat neutral level. Without it, earth would EXTREMELY cold or EXTREMLY hot. The weather would be chaotic. The moon also determines the length of the day. The theory (which has been tested by programming different scenarios) is that originally something hit the planet and launched a lot of matter into space. Within a certain range, it would gradually sink back into the earth by the pull of gravity. Outside of that range, it would gradually drift away. If it had formed two moons, they would have eventually collided. Okay, so our moon is drifting away from the planet and has been for I have no idea how many years. The further away it is from earth, the longer or shorter the day is. I'm not sure which. You know that the planet's axis is a bit tilted if you align it with the sun, and that it's rotation is the length of the day. Well, the moon affects that and a lot of other things. Tide being one of them.

Okay. That's a lot just for the moon. The moon?!? Aug.

That's pathetic, not to mention impossible. If she tried to sedeuce YOU, then you'd fall in love with her, which I suppose would make it easier for her to get at A-kun, but then she'd have the problem of him despising her for taking you away from him. The best thing for her to do in that situation would be for her to be really nice to A-kun and then get a boyfriend who A-kun hates. That way, he'd get upset that she was hanging out with someone so stupid and senseless, and start transferring some of his love to her. Then she could just keep it going for a while, until he leaves you. Announcing the fact that she's going to do this only gives you a chance to retaliate. You've got the more defensible position.

Hah, Gryphon. I can see how you would figure it meant that. I mean, Kanji is a pictographic language, so it's reasonable. Of course, so is Egyptian, and I don't thing THAT many ancient egyptians had conversations about fish and birds so important that they had to be written in stone...

She didn't tell me. I know because Alastair-kun has spies that keep an eye on her and her friends. and HE told me.

It was pathetic, yes- but lookit it this way, she also hacked his email account to send me some suspicious mail (which wasn't all THAT bad and might have been modified), overlooking the TINY fact that well... his email was hacked, and I told him so. She knows a lot about me because Alastair-kun told her some because she was very curious and because he saves all my emails and she hacked his system... and the most recent ploy was where she went on her friend's msn account and told a online about me and essentially made up stuff so he'd talk to me. The logic of THAT was that I'd hit it off with this guy, magically hate Alastair, and him, in his sad/depressed state, would date her.

I don't understand girls. Even if I am one.

My friend says I just unwittingly gave her an opportunity to show how vindictive she could be, and she fell right for it.

At this point in the book, I'm like "If Nita and Kit change around the Alaadid's world, I'd get really POed because even though they'd never evolve, their like is perfect! And they love it!!! So why change? Why??? If she goes along with this:

they might evolve into something better

they'll die
their decendents will die
they will all die
they'll get death, war, hate, ect
THEY WILL LOSSE THEIR PERFECT WORLD!!!!!

And tell me again why they should change. WHY??????

So, all I can do is hope that Nita and Kit don't screw up Quelt's world. Because as far as I can see, taht's their GOAL.

Oh, and if you really don't like that I'm saying bad stuff about DD's books, ignore it, okay! Because it's a habit of mine to complain about stuff in books. And I love DD's books, so don't take this as too much of an opinion, either.

I saw Moonsong had a really cool RP site. Aug, I shouldn't have but I joined. It looks so great! Not appearance, but how it sounds. In this one I have a real gryphon, not just an insane cat. Though I'd kinda like to work the real Gryphon into there...

You need to understand... disaster is the cause of life. In any ecosystem where it's completely uneventful, the ecosystem will collapse. The occasional disaster forces it to use all it's resources to stay alive, thus, ironically enough, staying more alive than if the disaster had never happened in the first place. This is what Fred meant when he said:

The presence of the Aalalu(sp?) on the planet were interfering with the natural disorder. The Keks had a hole to fill in the ecosystem. Problem was, the hole wasn't there yet...

I wouldn't want to look at the excerpt anyway. grumbles. Simply, excerpts are cruel. It's the beginning of the next book. Of course you're going to read it. But now... You've read the start, and it leaves a hole... Oh, you desperately need that book now! (All of this is assuming the excerpt is good, which I feel i have the right to assume :P )
