Do you know, I just got a forward from this girl from my old church, who has put me on her mailing list for religion-related forwards.

There is a movie coming out in 2003 claiming that both Jesus and his disciples were gay. There is already a play that went on for a
while. The play and movie are titled "Corpus Christi" which is Latin and translates to "Body of Christ". This is sickening and revolting
to all true believers! We can all do something! Please send this to ALL of your friends to sign to stop the movie from showing in America, and eventually Australia. Already certain areas in Europe have started to ban it from coming to their country and we can STOP it too! We just need a lot of signatures, and you can

*is sputtering in anger* You know what's sickening and revolting? That it's disrespectful if someone is gay. That automatically it's considered and insult. Like someone's said, it's about as easy to change your sexual preference as to change your gender! It is irrelevant to Jesus's importance! Whether he was gay or straight does not matter! A movie is pushing it on the other side, but honestly...I don't think this is what Jesus meant when he said not to deny him before men.

Ugh. That's wrong. The movie isn't claiming: "This is the true story of Christ, we have proof that he and his diciples are gay, you can't believe anything else, this is right and you are wrong!" is it? I don't think so.
I'M COMING HOME TOMORROW!!!!!!!! Not sure to be happy or sad. The happy thing is that I get to see my dad, step sibs, etc. Bad thing is that I don't know when I'm going to see my cousins, aunts and uncles, etc. again. *sigh*

Well, Ella, remember that in Christianity, homosexuality is a sin, right? And Jesus is a main... *struggles for word* Very important person, right? And he lived without sin, right? And thus he cannot be gay because being gay in a sin in the religion and he is sinless.... Okay, I just confused myself.

Aurora is right. I'm a major Christian so let me in on this, in the Bible it says the homosexuality is a sin. OK it also says that Jesus was, is, and will forever be the only person that ever touched to Earth not to comit a sin. So -most-, not me though don't worry about that, major Christians would take that offensively. In their minds it is unethical (sp?) it is sick/wrong, and most of all it is aginst the Bible's AKA the word of God's sayings. It would throw their whole religion off and some people would belive it was true. I don't really think this though, only becasue EVERY sin was forgiven the night that Jesus died, even homosexuality. You have to look at it from their point of view to understand why they are freaking out about it.

well I guess I should feel welcomed! so nice to meet you all! Can I ask a quick question? Birdhead... why does everyone call you tui? *raised eyebrow.
If homosexuality was such a bad thing then why would god allow it? that is my question. personally I see nothing wrong with it if that is the way some people want to live their lives then let them live it its their choice and no one elses. or at least that is my opinion.Besides I bet some of the nicest people any one person will meet in their lifetime willprobably be either gay or lesbian
