These are riddles are either from books or I have heard them somewhere
This thing all things devourers
Birds beasts trees and flowers
Eats iron gnaws steal
Grinds hard stone to meal
Kills kings ruins towns
And beats the highest mountain down
Black within and red without
With four corners roundabout
If something weighs 100 pounds plus half its weight how much to they weigh?
Within marble walls as white as milk
There is a lining soft as silk
Within crystal clear
A golden apple does appear
No doors are there to this stronghold
Yet thieves still break in and steal the gold
