well, it COULD be that saint dain is actually his name...though i kind of doubt it...but i think that, maybe, the reason he has that is because while he's not a fallen angel, he WAS a traveler...a force of good, now turned bad. We don't like him, but you can't deny the facts of who he was...particularly not when they keep on pointing the fact out, and wondering why he, and those he teaches, seem to be the only ones with the same abilities as him...

maby theirs some kind of place or thing that gives you power but also corrups you as well. what if saint dane had found it (but was already bad) and used it to 'up' his power or somthing like that?? or what if there are sertine kinds of travelers or he's from a territory that can change their form. its possible right. they have a world where animals talk. so its not impossible. but agian its only somthing to think about.

I don't know. I mean Saint Dane is kind of like other villains I have read about. Maybe he use to be good and he lost faith in the cause and turned bad. Maybe D.J. Machale needs to write a book giving us a tour of Saint Dane's past. Then just maybe we will understand him just a little bit better.

hey heres a question. does it say where saint dane is from and if we have been their yet? if so then we can get the over veiw of his life because of the book the terriitory guide thing. i cannnt remember the name off the top of my head, but still maby it will say somthing about where and how he used to live. or maby saint dane captures Bobby and stuidly tells him his life story and then bobby excapes. lots of mabys but i dout it will happen

From the way he often acts, and talks, i don't think he quite lost faith, so much as he became hungary for power...i mean, he's not just doing stuff to spite a group of people he turned against, he's doing things because he wants to control halla...and if, in doing so, he happens to be able to mess around with the heads of travelers...well, so much the better as far as he's concerned. But there's one problem with the whole *object or thing* theory...unfortunately its a spoiler, so to white i go! <span class="ev_code_WHITE">he turned ANOTHER traveler, and now SHE has those abilites...it COULD be a more then one person thing but...i don't know </span>but either way, i personally think it's something ALL protecters can do. *spoiler*<span class="ev_code_WHITE">i mean, come on, bobby brought back loor from the dead! would it be a surpise!</span>*spoiler* but that only saint dain has really figured it out...or maybe others have figured it out, but it involves something kind of evil, so he's the only person who's done it... SPOILER<span class="ev_code_WHITE">and of course the girl he turned</span>ok, spoiler done.

yes yes i agree.. but i do still have to ask where is he from we know where all the other people is from but him. does it even meantion it?

No, i'm afraid we don't...at one point, i thought his powers might be native to where he was from, but do to various spoilers i revealed in my last post...i kind of doubt it at this point. *Shrugs* I don't think we'll ever actually figure it out, at least not in the whole accidental blurt out way. MAYBE if they were to go to his territory, he would say something like "welcome to my home!" or something like that, just to get to them, but that's about it...And sorry for not replying sooner, but i was doing email digest, so i'm kind of a day behind. I had to click on the link to the topic just to make sure no one had beat me to replying!

yeah i'm pretty sure we don't know were he's from. i think that the last territory that we end up visiting will be his home territory. i know this will sound weird but i don't think saint dane actually is evil i think he's scared of someone or something so he does some bad stuff to make it look like he's brave and not scared.

if we want to actually talk about the books i'll change the thread name. that's if you want me to though.

Well wizy123 there is 7 Pendragon books out so far . The last one is called THE QUILLAN GAMES. It has been out for a while and it is really good.

But I can't get my hands on #7. My library system (THE WHOLE CITY) on has 1 copy, with 15 holds...which has been lost since two months ago.

tia: THAT IS HORID! *gags* i had to wait WEEKS to get it. and then, due to various things, i had to wait WEEKS to get it all over again! but it was SO worth it! and i feel sad for quillion...heck, i feel sad for middle earth! <span class="ev_code_WHITE">and i really feel sad for first earth at the moment, as those who have read the book will know....</span>heck, i feel sad for ALL the territories at this point!
