lol, Billy Joel is an awesome singer/piano player from the 60's, but he still does like a million concerts now, I think he's friends with Elton John.... He wrote Piano Man and Billy the Kid.... erm... those are the only ones I know by name... But he ROCKS!!!

I FINALLY got a Billy Joel CD. It makes me so happy! And it was a two disc thing for only fifteen dollars! YAY! He also wrote the Entertainer and Uptown Girls, and other luvverly things. And he rocks because he plays piano too. I hate it when bands give all the cool solos to the guitar. WHY?! What has piano done to be so unwanted?

I think my stupid speakers finally died. They make little crackly noises, even when I put in the headphones.

I quite like Linkin Park, but I wasn't planning on buying any of their albums. However, I heard a few tracks from their "Live In Texas" CD, and I've deicided I _have_ to get it now... I am such a sucker for live shows.

GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! * runs around in circles yanking out hair and screaming for about ten minutes* NO ONE HERE KNOWS ABOUT BILLY JOEL! I'm surrounded *whimpers* by Linkin Park lovers. NO! And M is leaving. NO! *hums along to the Billy Joel that she just happens to be listening to for solace* it's ok, they won't hurt you, even if they don't know who he is, breath Cress, breath.
Has anyone seen 13 Going on 30? Or do they have the soundtrack? Cause Vienna, which is on it, is by BIlly Joel.

Billy Joel? He's that new guy with the Piano Man song, right? *checks calendar* Oh. Not a new guy any more.

Think I'll go and look for his stuff in the iTunes Music Store now.

err.. actually, I think it goes:
Of course, when he does concerts in San Diego, the line that gets the biggest cheer is "...Davey, who's still in the Navy/And probably will be for life."

Me, personally, I'd have said Billy Joel was '70s/'80s. And my fave is "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant" or maybe, "Somewhere Along the Line." Although the most fun I ever had with a Billy Joel song was freshman year in college, when I was completely stressed out and heading for my Psych 1 final, and my walkman was blaring "Pressure" over the headphones, and just before I got to the classroom, Billy Joel was singing, "Psych 1, Psych 2, what do you know?" Made me giggle and massively reduced the stress. (I got an A-).

Plus, y'know, it was fun to hear him as a singing dog in Disney's Oliver & Company.
