Uh... that part of the song's funny, because the man who "ain't got no culture" and "doesn't dig poetry" because "when you say Dylan, he thinks you're talking about Dylan Thomas/whoever he was..." well, that bit of the song is funny because Dylan thomas was this great poet, who's very famous. Uhm. Yeah. So it's funny.

As to the fights... well, sometimes fights are funny. But it's best to keep a few threads fight-free, or they'd get over-run- threads much like this one, where no-one has anything really pressing to talk about. Fights can be funny, but they can also take up HUGE space and annoy the heck out of everyone. We wnet thorugh a period about a month or so ago when EVERY thread had a massive fight in it and there was no point even coming... it got really boring...
