It took me a month to finish the first book. I got really into it and went super slow.

((wizards are real. I don't know if anyone gave you the rules when you joined, but you're really not supposed to post 1-liners, since DD has to pay for the forums this is just a waste of money to her, try to make your posts longer next time!))

          *snort* Z's great...

I'm definitly not in the Spelling Squad, though.

Wizardsrreal, c'mon! Quit it with the short posts; surely there's more you can say, and this isn't the first time you've been warned. We have a Newbie Ultima topic where members have tried to pull together all of the rules and injokes if you want to pop in there.

            I'm 13, 14 next october 1...
            dilemma #1:

I have so little time to do what i want. i have to get up at 6.30 when it's still dark out, go to school until 3, science olympiad or something else until 4.30, homework, shower, and maybe a teeny bit of time to practice violin.
            (dilemma 1.5)
I've been getting worse and worse at violin lately because I just DON'T HAVE TIME. I'm always tired and just want to sleep all the time. that's another dilemma in itself.

            dilemma 2:
I am completely out of shape, and there is a YMCA sort of near my house, and in the summer I could ride my bike there. however:
            1) It is winter. Bike + snow = dead ankaa X_X
            2) you have to be 14 to use the gym alone (without a parent or something equally useless in that situation), and all i'll be using anyway will be the treadmills. ::rolls eyes::

            dilemma 3:

I like this guy who's a senior, except...well, he's a senior (i'm a freshman). He's not really popular...actually I don't even know if he really has any friends...and he's not really cute or anything...i actually LIKE him. which is very, VERY inconvenient. and even if he DID like me, he's off to bigger and better things next year. almost every realtionship breaks off when the older person goes to college, or that's how it seems.

by the way, a couple summers ago, my dad got prostate cancer. immediately I thought of TWD and was thinking,"oh my gd, please, please, PLEASE let him be ok, I'm no wizard..." 0.0'
but he was ok, it just took him a LONG time to recover, and it didn't help matters that he only found out he had cancer a few days before we were moving...
I'm crying cuz things aren't how
            they used to be
            she said,
            "The battle's almost won
and we're only several miles from the sun..."

Wow, rough, Ankaa. The best advice for dilema #1 is to not stress or presure yourself about the violin. Also, being my solution to everything, I suggest you take karate. Only, that takes time too. Ah, but karate solves dilemma #2. Running or biking is the best for me, but you can't do either in the winter. Karate, however, is an indoor sport, and it releives stress like you wouldn't beleive, and there's confidence involved. It feels great to know you're tougher than everyone else, even though you'd never pick fights.

              Ankaa:

Heh. Problem 1: senior. 2: not popular 3: not cute

Well, the first would be a gap for me. If you like him, it really doesn't matter that he's not popular or not cute. Ah, but you don't like liking him.

Thank god [nevermind if you're religious or not; I'm atheist, and it's habbit ]... That's somethings serious.

Pretty avatar. Oh, the Dilemma topic is actually for the Wizard's Dilemma book. Just thought I'd point this out; it doesn't effect you or anyone else, it's just that people who haven't read TWD won't be reading your post. I think you should post in the Topic of Great Randomness; that's the topic where people talk about anything like this. Really, don't bother reading all of the posts. Just post yourself, and read the ones following it. You're the newest member who's a great member.

Have you ever tried any winter sports? Skiing, Snowboarding, etc. Those are really fun and it'll give you something to do. I'm not sure what places they have in NY to learn it but I bet they have many because it snows a lot there! Try those out!

Because I like what Ankaa did to this topic...

Dilemma one: I've run out of names for a character. Actually, I rarely run out of names, but whether they fit the character I have in mind is a different thing.

*bounces off topic-walls* I'm an orange belt! Ahahaha; you have got to join karate. It feels great. Yeah, my next character will be based off of myself more than the others.

Ankaa, I'm refering to a roleplay called VGDawn or Dawn of the Conqueror's Age. It's nothing like Dungeons and Dragons if you're familiar with that; instead, it's all writing. Just about all of the members have never roleplayed like this before (or roleplayed at all), and the best way to understand it, I guess, is to pop in and read a few posts from a thread.

Willow? Naw, don't like Willow either. But, because I can't get off these two names, I'm going to have a Flak and Shrapnel. *plans*

I feel miserable sick. Oh my god I'm an orange belt! *cough cough*

                  *dances*

I started tai kwon to but I *DIDN'T HAVE TIME* , and i do like to ski, even though I'm really a newbie to the sport. i just don't like having to always depend on a friend to go with me, because no one else in my family skis, and then drive there (2 hours or more), then rent skis, etc....the second time I ever skied in my life, I broke a ski pole
I'll start posting in the TOGR from now on, sorry, I took after someone else's post...i think...either way i'm going insane ^_^; maybe the post didn't actually exist?

Ah, well, we get off topic in every topic, not just The Topic of Great Randomness.

                      The bloody kookuburra pirate!! ARRRRRGGHHH!

I've died three times in a row fighting the [space] pirate, and not one time did I take over a fifth of his hit points. Gahhh!!! That boss is way too tough. I love this game to death, but geez...

actually, it's not humanly possible for us to get off topic in the topic of great randomness. it covers all topics. we can change the direction of or converstion as many times as we want, but we'll STILL be on topic. isn't it great?

Ah, but this isn't the Topic of Great Randomness, so I know I'm off. What is this topic about?

                            The Dilemma!!!

And that justifies my off topicness.
