And all your frineds get aat least minor parts, riiight?
(notes that bythe time the movie's in the 'auditioning' phase, I should be a sort of old Dairine or maybe even old enough to be *GASP* Nita IF it actually takes a year and just under three weeks to get to that point *me thinks it shall*)
Though the likelihood that I'll even be considered to get to pretend to be the great Neets is extremely slim.

If they totally mess up the movie I will be somad . And, if my family does the same thing (which they probably will) I will be very annoyed . But, i suppose they get me back (not on purpose I suppose...) for ruining the movie for them because I always complain out loud when they mess something up (always). . You know in Eragon, how Sappira's voice sounded? Well, I think they would make their telekenisis sound like that, but with different sounding voices for each character, or they would totally mess it up even more by not including it at all, or saying it aloud.

I was soo psyched about Eragon when it came out, until I actually saw it. and thenmy family kept talking about the movie and I had to keep correcting them and they just didn't GET it and if I told them something about the book they would say that its not how it happened in the movieand i was telling them that the producers spent all the money on making Saphira look good and totally killed the movie and they kept telling me I was wrong and...GRRR
Anyway...I could try out for Nita or Mela or Dairine or something but I'd drive the producer nuts(I think we probably all would, if he/she/they changed something)Plus, I don't think I'd like the movie as much if I was in it, although it would be cool to meet everyone playing the parts, if that convetion thing didn't work out(especially if they've read the books)Being a voiceover would be really cool too, and soo many characters are not humans.
I'll just be happy if they don't COMPLETELY kill the books in the movie(and if my family doesn't talk like they know what happened, when they didn't read the books)
Before I go, one question...how would Nita and Kit's(and everyone else's)telekenesis work, because viewers would have to be watching their mouths every time someone talked, to see whether or not they were talking...I just can't seem to figure it out.

I have no idea if there is a movie, but I do know if I could, I would audition for Nita- I think I'd be pretty good at her, and I'm the right age. They really messed up the Eragon movie!!!!! We are SO in agreement there , they destroy the Harry Potter books in the movie as well for people who havn't read the books as well. , the books areso much better!!!!!!!!

In the pictures on the books, Nita has brown hair, so there's your answer.
Does anyone know when the movie will be in theaters? Or is it just a rumour that there will even be a movie?

yah, my family isn't that into HP, except for me and my twin brother. But it would be so cool to act in the movie, maybe I'll audition, if i can. I am the right age. But I am sort of confused, I never really got weather she had dark or light hair? If it was light, great, if it was dark I am screwed! I could always be Carmela, or does she come in late in the series, I read all of them so I get kind of confused about what happens in the first ones. Oh well, maybe I'll be a physic fish? Who knows, I just hope they don't screw the movie up, like they did with Eragon, I was mad for months about that movie! Well we will see what the future has in hold for us wont we?

At least my family isn't the only one that dosn't read all of the books.I don't think I would actually post or anything on the part for the movies if one developed, because to me, no movie could replace my experience with the books (I would probably complain through out the entire movie to...).

I have to do that alot in my house. My entire family has now seen all of the HP movies, and they don't know which end is up. They're constantly asking "whatever happened to Dobby?" or "why is what you say is the book, so different from the movie?" Oh, if only I knew...

Doesn't your name say that you're a cat-bard? if so, how will you be able to play a human? and if you do, if you were going to transform, couldn't you just transform directly into someone?

I'd thought about what it would be like to play Nita...and though I wouldn't want to, I'm the right age (thirteen) and when I first read the books, I looked EXACTLY like Nita did on the covers. I mean, I know the pictures vary, but I brought up a picture of Nita (from a cover of on of the books) on my computer, and my dad looked at it, and then commented, "this is a nice picture of you. When was this taken? It doesn't look like anywhere we've been..." I was moderately surprised that my dad had mistaken a book character for me...but then, life is just weird (see my sig).

I think I'll answer the casting call - when it comes - and try to get a part doing Fred's voice at least. That would be fun, and I've always wanted to do a voice-over. However, if the make up teams are up to par, I might fancy playing a Tom or Carl and having the make up division make me look older. I should be old enough to almost look the part by 2009-2011 ... so yeah. Otherwise, I might just wait and - if they continue the movies - try to get a part as Ronan. That'd be fun too.

i agree with young reader, when some people see the movies they fell like they donot have to read the books (not me...I absolutely must read the book after seeing a movie)

and to kli6, the only reason LoTR sales went up is because no one had read the hobbit, and they didn't know how the books drag on and on(although not always in a bad way)

i also think that there should be seperate forums because if the movie changes what happened in the book, people who didn't read the books will makes us all very, very confused *getting a headache just thinking about it*

i really hope DD gets unknowns to play the characters because i cannot think of a single actress/actor who i can imagine as ANYONE in the books *shakes her head at how sad it is* and i think it would be cool to be a voice-over, but if she has too many people that has read the books we WILL take over the set *smiles, laughs to herself* mwa ha ha

wait? there's someone besides me in new york? *gaps* i doubt any of US Would get hte parts...even though it would be WONDEROUS if someone from the site did...(on the other hand, we might all drive the directors to distraction with every change they make, or refuse to do lines we don't think the characters in the books would have done, and overall stop the movie from ever being made)

I would love to play Nita. I'm the right age and everything. I'm always in the plays in school and stuff in New York. I hope the auditions are in New York. It's closer to where I am. I wouldn't mind being Dairine either, but, I look older than i am, so i dont think that would work. oh well. sorry for mindlessly babbling. That's what my friend's ear is for. She doesn't mind either. *goes off to babble in Sam's ear*
