• I don't know if Naruto would want one right now, since he's busy doing other stuff. If you're watching Naruto I suggest Dattebayo, by the way. They have high quality stuff. Do you watch One Piece, Bleach, or Katekyo Hitman Reborn? They're also pretty good.

Anyways, onto random but actually happeneing things, my aunt came over today, all the way from Toronto (I guess not all the way, since it isn't such a big distance between Québec and Ontario). She'll be staying over until Monday.
So, my first two exams are done, and soon it'll all be over, and I'll be free 'till camp.
As with all the Pratchett books, Maskerade's funny, and I'm over halfway done reading it already.
Also, in the past month, I've learned all about IRC, so I've been chatting a lot there. It's my kind of people (techno geeks and otakus).

• Emi: <3 Azumanga Daioh! I read the manga tho... one of my friends has the anime lurking in her house, and I always stare at the cds when I walk by... never seen the anime before. O.o I read some of Fruits Basket, and I couldn't get back into it after my haitus. I was on like 13 or something. It's impossibly cute. I've seen like five seconds of the anime lol.

I just walked home after watching 28 Weeks Later. I think I've finally reached the point where I've seen too many horrors. The other night, I was outside with a couple of friends at 2 am, and we heard this animal *scream* in the forest, and I just pictured the warped infant experiment sheep from Black Sheep (not that great of a movie)... I saw my shadow on a garbage can and flipped out. I ran home lol. I think we need to start renting more comedies and fewer horrors. ><<<
Gigo: Hey, it's the person who puts 'asian' in 'caucasian'. Hi, Gryph. | | | wildflower: Hmm... should I side with "Gryph is more insane" based on conclusive evidence, or "Sharky is more insane" based on tradition? | | | [url="http://mariposa-mentiro

• Dai stiho everyone.

animelvr2, it looks like a lot of people do watch anime. Will you please keep everyone updated for me? My computer is being packed tomorrow. Here comes some new randomness:

WATER BOTTLES AND LIGHTHOUSES ARE FALLING ON MY KEYBOARD LIKE THOSE BLACK ANVILS OR WHATEVER THEY ARE THAT YOU SEE IN CARTOONS BUT THE LIGHTHOUSES AND WATER BOTTLES ARE BOTH PAINTED RED AND I THINK THAT THIS IS WAY WAY WAY TOO LONG OF A RANDOM SENTENCE SO I WILL SAY GOODBYE AND END WITH A PERIOD SHORTLY, BUT NOT YET BECAUSE THE ANVILS ARE NOW COMING AND ARE GOING TO BASH MY COMPUTER TO BITS AND PIECES, SO I'D BETTER POST THIS BEFORE THEY DO.

ps. Any critique on randomness?

• Gryph: I've read the manga too. They're like the most adorable ones I've seen. It's wicked hilarious.

FOUR MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL! Well, technically there's like three because the last two is like half days for finals. But still we're soooo close to summer. I'm so happy.

I just want to graduate... but I have to wait one more year. Next year I'll be done with the high school. Thank GOD. Haha.

Vashmata: I know this is completely random, but what's it like in Canada? Like, I've always wanted to go to Montreal or Quebec, but I haven't gotten the chance to. Uh I lied, I have had a chance but I couldn't go because of an AAU tournement that weekend. Anyway, I don't see much pictures of that area so is it really pretty? Or do they just say it is? Just wondering...

Anywho. I'm dying now because I just sang like a bunch of songs because I felt like singing when I got home from school, now my voice hurts. Ugh, how smart am I?

Recycling.. I have recycle at the school when it gets out today. (I have D block off, which is like the last class, and I'm a Junior so I can leave school) I can't forget about it. Because last time I almost did and my friend called me and was like "Uh, aren't you recycling with us today?" It was bad... but I'll remember now.

Kay, Dai stiho peeps.
Time passes. Even when it seems impossible.
Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise.
It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me.

• seabiscuit: Happy birthday!! Have a baguette. *hands over baguette* Those things are so good.

Tuttle, kk, and Mel: Storms are amazing. It hasn't rained here in a really long time, but the weather radio just went off, so I think it's supposed to storm pretty soon.

Mel: Your storm sounds really awesome....hehe I love strong winds.

Gwendi: Yay! Seriously, your random phrases are so spontaneous and random..it's great.

I really want summer school to be over...*dies* I have personal finance for four hours every single day. It's mostly torture. Some of it's fun though...we're doing this thing on virtualstockexchange.com where we buy and sell stocks. Whoever places first at the end of the game gets some sort of reward. Not sure what it is though. I'm also doing driver's ed, which is slightly scary as I'm not a very good driver. I have it again Monday, so maybe I'll go driving this weekend...even though I'm illegal outside of class because I haven't bothered to get my permit yet. I should probably do that next week.
I'm doing a musical too--The Secret Garden. It's kind of fun...our director is slightly crazy though. And the theater is moldy and haunted (no really), so we're putting off practicing there for as long as we can.

Also, I had this bizarre V for Vendetta-themed dream last night where I was in this really really old house looking at a rolltop desk, when I noticed that there was a stain on it identical to the stain on my kitchen table (there isn't a stain on my kitchen table). Then, a lightbulb clicked in my head that that was somehow important to what I was trying to figure out, which had to do with a secret organization. Then V came out of nowhere and I randomly said, "Is this to make me stronger, like Evey?" And he said, "How do you know about Evey?" and I said, "How everyone else does; from your movie V for Vendetta." And he said, "They made a movie out of me?!?!?!" And I said, "Yeah, actually you're not a person anyway, you're an idea." And then he flipped out and threw a couple knives at the wall, then explained how government was extremely corrupt and he'd been plotting for years to kill President Bush and Cheney, and then I explained how he could just wait until next year and they would go out of office. And then I woke up. Weird, right? If that doesn't qualify for my random statement of the day, I don't know what does.

• Thank you eowyngirl, you have inspired me to make a new random phrase.

WHEN COWS AND CHICKENS FLY, YOU KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM, BUT WHO SAYS PIGS DON'T ALREADY? THEY MADE FLYING INSECT TOYS, WHY NOT PIGS? I THINK THEY ALREADY HAVE, JUST BECAUSE IT'S AN OVER-USED SAYING.

Another one tomorrow, I'll ask animelvr2 to post it for me. I (as I have already said) am going to have to pack my computer tomorrow, so animelvr2 has to post for me from now until I get it back up after I move. Maybe I can sneak onto my parent's computers and use theirs. Either way, I'll try to get you my randomness.

• So it's 12:20 in the morning, and I just don't want to go to sleep. I just spent pretty much the whole day with my friends, and it was just so awesome that I didn't want it to end. So now I'm risking the wrath that comes along with staying up, but it's worth it to talk to them.

Did anyone else ever have those days?

Man I love it

In other news, apparently I get to play at some famous art museum. I'm actually really excited and really really really really really nervouse.

really.

And I'm also a little sad, too, 'cause it's on the day I planned to have my birthday party.

Oh, by the way, I turned 15 on the 15th. Kinda cool, huh? I feel sort of old and sort of young at the same time. I feel like I look different now, physically, and in the eyes of people around me. It's really very strange.

I also baked this really awesome checkerboard cake. It took like five hours but it was worth it!

And I think I'm just sort of ranting a tired rant now but whatever!

animeluvr2: sounds sort of like my family. We've got all sort of stuff, or rather have had. we've got a lot of bunnies that hang around the yard, occasionaly some foxes and deer and gophers and such too. :P

eownygirl: that's a wild dream, man! kinda cool, really.

Emi: wow, technically, I guess today is your last day. Wewt! have fun with that! (ew, you're a senior now. weird haha)
"dai stiho peeps" hahahahahahahahaha wooow. That sounds weirdly like me. hahahahahaha that's pretty awesome :P

Gryph: hahahahaa niice

Mona: BUBBA GUMP!! We went to one in Universal in Florida with my orchestra trip. It was possibly one of the best experiences of the whole trip. We had this insane waiter who thought we were older than we were, which was a little ridiculous. But that's okay. He was pretty awesome we got a picture with him,

So I think I should probably go get the chlorine out of my hair. I sort of reek of it right now.

Dai stiho!

http://fold.it is a fun puzzle game, and a way to help cure AIDS (maybe) at the same time. Some UW scientists decided that humans were better at eyeballing protein folding than computers were at computing it, so they decided to make it fun.

• Speaking of this Bubba Gump place that everyone seems to be talking about...I've seen 2 of their restaurants in the last week or so. It's weird; I never noticed them before, but now that you guys mentioned them, I saw them.

Still no job. It's...demoralizing to know that I've applied 15-20 places (I've kind of lost count) and haven't even gotten a call back. I know, it's already summer, most places have already hired...but still. You'd think one of them would call back! All my friends...it's like jobs just fall into their laps. I've got one friend who has 2 jobs this summer, and is doing an internship at the mayor's office! And all 3 of them just happened to fall into her lap; she was in the right place at the right time, kind of like I was when I was hired at Panera a few years ago. I'm just never in the right place at the right time.

But...tonight I'm going out to babysit for another woman who's considering hiring me to babysit her kids a few days a week. I could do that; that'd actually be a really good job for me, so hopefully it works out! No, I'll be positive; it WILL work out.

My graduation party was on Sunday. Kind of made me want to shoot myself in the foot; I'm not a good hostess at all, I hate talking to people and have a hard time dealing with crowds of people. Despite this, I think it went pretty well; I impressed my parents' friends, and ate a lot of food. I was kind of disappointed by my friends though...not a lot of them showed up. That kind of hurt. But the few that did show up were the ones that I actually like, so I guess it was ok. And besides...I really can't complain. My aunt got me a bunch of Jane Austen DVDs (including 1995 Pride & Prejudice!) for my birthday/graduation. I now have 12+hours of Jane Austen movies, plus special features, to watch. Yay.

Mel: I'm sure you'll do great playing at the museum! That's really exciting too. And I understand what you're saying about staying up late like that...I've been doing that a lot lately. The last time was after prom, because I just didn't want it all to end. But...(to quote Stephenie Meyer) when life hands you something so far beyond your expectations, it's unreasonable to grieve when it ends. Kind of applicable...kind of not. And I'm not sure I quoted correctly, since I'm too lazy to go get my copy of Twilight. XD

eowyngirl: thanks for the baguette! lol. XD Reminds me of Panera (I used to work there) and those stupid baguettes that we had sword fights with (yes, like in the movies. It was funny.)

I need food. Dai peeps.

• Mel: You're 15? Wow, happy birthday! I stayed up late like that before... so many times with my friends... it was insane. I even pulled an all nighter (didn't crash until 6 AM), it was horrible because I had to play two bball games that day. But I've stayed up like that by myself in the summer because I'm on a roll in a story.

Mel: "dai stiho peeps" hahahahahahahahaha wooow. That sounds weirdly like me. hahahahahaha that's pretty awesome :P
Sweet. Haha. I love saying that, peeps... I hate the candy but love the word.

anime: Congrats on your new cat!! Sounds like my kitty. But mine's evil, yours is probably nicer.

Hungry: You should call them, and ask if you can schedule an interview or something. I had to do that where I work. It's so crazy. But yeah, call them and see if they've hired someone yet. Who knows, maybe they'll get you in right away. Pride and Prejudice! I want to see it so bad, but I'm waiting to finish the book.

Finals, today and tomorrow. Yippee. Then it's summer!!! It can't come any faster. Oh my gosh, I'm so not looking forward to recycling on Thursday... SO MUCH PAPER!

CELTICS GAME IS ON TONIGHT. I can't wait. Game 6. Let's hope this is our last.

Alrighty... I'm going to look through more threads...

Later.

• Well, I don't have much to say, but here goes:

Regarding to what Mel said, the same thing happened to me: 14 on the 14th. Of course, it was all the way back in March. And, of course, I'm crazy, so I usually go to bed after 1:00AM, but that's just me (I usually say good morning on IRC when I'm about to leave). I don't think I've stayed up that late hanging out with friends, though.

Emi: You asked about what it's like here, but I don't really know how to compare it to what it's like where you live. The island I live on (big, and I never thought of it as one until I actually knew it) is full of houses, but it also has plenty of parks (mostly playgrounds, while there are also fields for playing diuerse sports), but I don't usually pay attention to them. Hmm. Well, I wouldn't say where I live looks like New York (first thing that pops to mind), because there aren't many apartments or tall buildings. Pretty much, we all have front lawns and usually there's at least one tree (maple or evergreen, usually). I guess it's like any populated but not too crowded place. And, of course, it's cold in the Winter and warm in the Summer.

Well, I have two exams left: English and Hebrew. Then off I go to camp to have fun. All right... Time to try out Fold it.
