Well, back to what books to read...Start with Wild Magic. Read that searies, and than go on to The Lioness Quartet, than Protector of the Small. After that, you should read The Circle of Magic, followed by The Circle Opens, and later The Will of The Emperess. Either now, or after the Protector of the Small series, you should read Tricksters Choice, and than Tricksters Queen. The reason for this order is so that you understand everything, and so you have intrest in the book that you are reading. Now, if you are a boy, It is a different story. DO NOT READ THE LIONESS OR PROTECTOR BOOKS,OR THE TRICKSTER ONES, fOR THAT MATTER.
ALSO THINK ABOUT READING THE WILD MAGIC BOOKS.
This is because of content not suitable for the male eye. Oh, and if you are young, ask your parents first.

Depends which series of hers you want to read. I fyou wnat to read the tortallan series, I'd suggest the Lioness Quartet, starting with Alanna: The First Adventure, then go onto the Immortals Quartet and then Prtector of the Small Quartet. If you want to read The Circle of Magic Series, Start with The Circle Opens Quartet, the First in that, I believe, is Sandry's Book. I read all of her books soooo many times, one of my all-time favorite authors (besides DD of course
)

sorry. i don't remember any titles. someone should be able to tell you. My suggestion is to try to find the first one that she wrote. The publication date will tell you.

local libraries never seem to have enough copies of ANYTHING. i have to order almost all the books i read from others. it's annoying...And can anyone point out a good book of hers to start out with, in case i wish to read it?

I still have to track down Becka Cooper, but after that I'll have read all of them. If only my local library would get more copies...

I have read ALL of her books. ALL. I have actually read them all at least (no exaderation) 8 times each. I love the Protector of the Small books, especially the Glaive. I am actually in the process of making one reight now. MWAAAA!!I have to say though,my personality matches the lioness's. A toung so sharp that I need no sword. Although I do relate to Aly pretty well. I lied earlier. I have read all but the newest book, which I plan to buy within the week.

I enjoy her books, too. I started reading them when only the Lioness books were out, but I've found my way to most of the others since. Most recently, I read The Will of The Empress, followed by books 1,2,3,5,6,7,8, and 4 (yes, in that order, unfortunately). I also read Protector of the Small before The Immortals, which left me at something of a loss. :-)

i've read some of her books. Their not great, if you ask me. Good, even better than average, but not great. (I love being a critic! ; )~) (oh, ; )~ is a smiley that I made. It means "winking smiley with snake tongue" or "synical grin with wink".)

tamora pierce is great! my favorite series are the immortals one. i also love kel, i know just how she feels being so tall.
if people make fun of you for reading too much, that's their problem. they're just insecure about something, so they make fun of anyone else.

I like Terrier pretty well. I haven't read much besides it by Tamora Peirce in a while, so I can't remember well enough to compare it, but I didn't notice that the diary form made it worse. It didn't draw attention away from anything, but then again it didn't add much either, so maybe it would have been better as just first person. I think Tamora Pierce has just been doing the same style of books for so long that she probably wanted to try something new.

I read Terrier (Beka Cooker) right when it came out, and I think it's one of the lesser of her Tortall books. I think it would have been significantly better if it had just been a first-person book, without the attempt at making it a journal.

Yeah, I just finished Terrier too. I loved it! Second only to Protector of the Small quartet. I've read most of the others, except the Circle of Magic quartet.
