      • Here's one of my favorites that I wrote

Through bow and sword and plate and mail
I fear the darkness shall prevail
But when hope seems to fled the night
Renew the hope shall sparks of light.

This is the original version, but I improved on it many times. I just can't find my notebook.

            • Shattered parts, sailing darts, and shallow hearts,
Violent rages, virulent phases, in vain -- they're in cages

This poem has meaning, or at least thoughts, behind it. After reading all of yours, it's a deviation; but hey, I write from a different emotion.

              Broken
              Still/ locked where tears won't spill/
              can't fill/ empty voids/ minds of androids/ riding a meteoroid

This style is fun. Now if I can find a couple of words that rhyme with analgesea...

              • Hehe. I wrote this when I was mad, but in a bitter way, so it's supposed to be kind of funny.

Just when things are lookin' up
                Everything falls down.
When life is going the right way
                It always turns back around.

                Why me? Why me?
Why is second-best all that I can be?
                Why me? Why me?
                Why can't I be happy?

                Sometimes it's like
The world is out to get me.
                I'm screaming and I'm crying
                I'm praying on my knees
                Sayin'

                Why me? Why me?
Why am I never good enough
When I'm all that I can be?
                Why me? Why me?
                Why can't I be happy?

                • here's one of my poems.I actually wrote it for school.but here 'tis.
                  The Horror of a Child

                  Far,ah,far away
                  a child cries.
                  Like a tiny ocean
                  of salty tears,
                  they puddle at his feet
                  His sobs are like
                  a kittens mewing,
                  small and sad.
                  the fear is come,
                  it sits in his mind,
                  like a boulder,
                  gray and heavy.
                  And then,ah.and then,
                  he stops,and cries no more.
                  Why has he stopped?
                  It is quite simple.
                  The horror is over.
                  Or,
                  the child dies.
                  Or,he shatters,
                  shatters,with a
                  tiny cry,
                  shatters into a
                  thousand thousand
                  tiny shimmering
                  pieces.
                  How do you like it?

                  • Oooh....scary. I wrote a few poems, but they're no good. Besides: I've forgotten them.

I still like my favourite limerick. I shall never forget it. From this weird almanac-ish book.

There once was a young woman named Bright,
Who's speed was far faster than light.
So she set out one day, in a relative way,
and returned home the previous night.

I really like it. hope you do too.
