20 years from now..

Last night I was talking with Rad and Sharky and I thought of something. In 20 years are we all still going to be around here? If we are I will be 34, Rad will be 39, Sharky 37, and Pops will be 67! We would all be old! Then there will be a new generation of us coming into the forums. I know they will be poking fun at us because were old and we have been here for 20 years and more. I also know I will introduce YW to my kids. Then they will want to come here.. Wow, its just alot to think about. I just wanted to share my thoughts.

in 20 years, I'll be almost 36... how scary. That's true, by then, we'll be old and the young fans will be like "Ha, ha, look at the old geezers talking about books!" That makes me feel so sad! I'm definetly letting my kids read my books when I have kids! I just hope they love the series as much as i do!

I would... probably not be here in 20 years. But hey, I may know some of you in real life then.

Also, I plan on winning the lottery, but my chances are kinda slim seeing how I don't buy lottery tickets and never will. Who knows? XD If I do, I'll go to college for arts in that "no help to society" group. Otherwise I'll do mad science and math. Or maybe economics and politics. I'll probably end up being an entrepreneur or someone shooting for the top of a big company. I may write on the side, but I won't be just an author. I might not write at all.

I probably won't do anything with programming or HTML.

Might be married. I don't know. I definitely won't be the stereotypical grunt of a patriarchal society, and I doubt I'll have kids. Gahhh...

In twenty years I'll be 34. I have no idea what I'd be doing career-wise, maybe writing or something. I'll have managed to marry some one who looks like Seto Kaiba's clone, acts just like, looks just like him, etc.

Twenty years from now, I'll be 35. I'll definitely be able to drive then, and will probably be able to make a computer do what I want. I won't have kids yet (probably) but I will be one of those crazy people who sits around and re-reads kids books. Maybe I should become a kids' book editor. Then I would have an excuse for reading kids books.

Anyway...I kind of doubt I'll be here in 20 years. Maybe I will. I'd have to change my name though...maybe I'd just use Hungry, and drop the Seabiscuit part...naw. If you guys ever here from anyone called Hungry or Seabiscuit in 20 years, it's probably me. Or my future kids.

Like Zgirl, I'd love to post here each and every day, but I doubt I'll have time to in my 20's and 30's. I know, I know. Let's put it this way: the future is like a random topic in the forums. You don't know what's going to show up in there, and you can't stop random stuff from happening. I'm going to take my chances with the future, and if I'm still here in 20 years, well, I'll definitely be a senior member by then.

Although, I doubt that I'll ever have kids seeing as how I am living, breathing, guy repellant! Plus, when I work for NASA I'll be too busy for relationships, but not too busy for the internet! Most of my friends think it's strange that I want to work for NASA instead of what everyone else wants, to be a famous actress, actor, or musician... although I may go to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra with my Sanchez. (Double bass) Or I might play trumpet, but I doubt it since I get Sanchez back next year!

Yay! *cough cough* Right, so anyway, I'm not sure if I'll be around the forums so much in 20 years. If there are still YW books coming out by then than I'll definitely be reading them though. lol!

I want to have kids. I'm definitely going to introduce them to YW. They may not like it but oh well, more for me. I hope my kids will like fantasy books like I do. I live with a dad who loves science fiction and hates to read about magic and wizardry and the like. I'm the complete opposite of that. *shrug* Anyway I think I strayed a bit so I'll stop here.

Well...Let's see. In 20 years, I will be almost 34. I might still be here, but not post nearly as often as I do now. (Maybe by then I'll actually have a social life. ) As I've told friends, there's not a guy out there insane enough to marry me. Heh... *bounces around crazily*

I do love kids, though. I'm just not sure I'd have the patience to deal with having kids of my own.

I want to be a speech pathologist. I love words. Heh. Some of my friends say I have too big of a vocabulary... Heh. My dad didn't know what "vex" meant. He used it interchangably with "hex". *snicker* It was highly amusing. My vocabulary is no bigger than anyone else's. I just like to pretend to be intelligent by using big words that don't even fit in the sentence.
