When do you get out of school?

I finished classes back on May 2nd, well thats when finals ended...but didn't finish school until May 12th. (grumblegrumblewhycouldn'tgraduationbeanyearlier?)

I'm going back, August 20th (starting with orientation) so yay for summer.

The problem with summer is that you don't often get to see friends and such...and when you're getting all this information for college but they don't tell you the few things you care about.

And Sean...17 year olds don't work . No, we just know we should be to earn money for college.

It's true what they say, though: time = money. You very rarely get enough of both. Summer vacations, as I recall, also sort of coincided with having nothing to spend, or having to work to earn enough to spend...

Tuttle, I'm being careful about the stingrays (but they're not evil. Just easily scared). These days, I'm hiking canyons and parks and looking for hawks instead of doing the beach. I should probably start looking out for rattlesnakes, though. [grin].

ummm. i hate all of u. we dont get out till june 21st and we have exams on the last 3 days. they even put the one exam u NEED to pass the grade on that day, so no one would skip. stupid school...

I got out from school on Monday ofthis past week, but I still had to come in this week for graduation practice (8th grade graduation) which is tomorrow.

I get out of school on the 16th. Which is really cool, 'cause it gives me like the best birthday present. That's half the reason I like my birthday on the 15th. Either school out, school's almost out, or school's out that day. It's quite aweomse!

I got out yesterday!!! Yay for me! Now I'll be on almost all day! Whether y'all like it or not! But really, now I can read all day, without having to answer to my math teacher... For some reason, she wants me to pay attention and do math during her class. I wonder why?

I get out tomorrow the 15th. And I know it'll be hard for some of you to believe, but teachers are just as excited about summer vacation as the students. I like my second graders, but I can't wait to get on the plane Saturday and head to San Diego for a trip to Legoland and the zoo. Wahooo!

_Summer_ Vacation? lol I finish exams in one week, 11 hours and <STRIKE>17</STRIKE> <STRIKE>16</STRIKE> 15... well you get the idea, minutes. Perhaps plus 10 min for perusal.. I'm not too sure. Then its a week of winter break for me, then a two week field trip to Rockhampton to look at... well, rocks. Then another week off, which is filled with a medieval themed wedding and a Medieval Fayre. Then uni starts again, and the next weekend I have a camp with my medieval society . I is going to be busy

Just out of curiosity - how many weeks do you guys get off for your summer holidays?

See, what I don't understand is why every adult in the world doesn't want to be just like me and my fellow teens. We are, of course, the coolest generation with music and clothes to go with it. <3 What adult wouldn't want to relive the excitement of concerts, tattoos, and friend drama?

I spent $2.99 on a shirt! Aha. I saw this awesome shirt at one store (I was looking for a grey), and it was $28!!! And I got a similar shirt, same style, same place, but different print and color for much cheaper, so there was no way I was gonna get it. When I swung by Aeropostale (one of my fav places to shop :P ), I found my gem on the sales rack, and it was definitely not a 2.99 shirt, but that was all it cost. *happy* But uhh I kinda made up for the money I saved by buying all kinds of other stuff, so... lol.

So do I - I miss out on about half the stuff that goes on around here when you guys are on holidays . Although, I'm sure the planet wouldn't be too appreciative about the northern and southern hemispheres having summer at the same time.

Yay! Sophomore year. Finally. Yet another stressful and overwhelming year of high school to look forward to! At least I'm done with "everyone hates the freshman!" I'll the and forget about a school as long as I can... We go out like three weeks agom (except for a few days of finals, eww >_&lt. I'm too lazy to figure out the date, but it was around the ninth.
