My school starts September 9th. We got out June 2nd, so it's a really, really long summer. I'm in the two-week stretch before school starts now, and I'm not doing anything but hanging out at home, so I'm getting kind of bored.

I like school. I do well, and my teachers are great. The only thing I don't like is that in 7th and 8th grade (I'm going into 8th) you have to play sports all three seasons. I'm not really an athletic person, and sometimes it's really hard for me. Sometimes I enjoy it, though. We'll see.

Do any of you pass notes in class? I used to at my old school, but I barely did at ALL last year. However it's fun, especially during Health, which is the most boring and useless subject on the planet earth, especially since we've learned it all before...ugh. Don't let your teachers catch you though! Do you guys play pranks? My advisee group stole the science teacher's life-size skeleton model and demanded ransom. This had the approval of our advisor though. We do minor things like all getting under our desks when the teacher's late. Once we hid behind the science teacher's huge desk when we was late, and he couldn't find us. My cousin's mean to substitutes; his whole class once wrote 'Dan' on all their quiz papers and homework in the name space.

I go to a private school, and so there's only about 55 people in my grade. Sometimes I like it being small, and sometimes I wish there were more new people to meet.

Ella you are not alone. I'm bored at home just waiting for school to start too. I need a challenge. And I know I"m gonna regret saying that sooner or later but that's okay.

Sometimes. When I do, though, I try to preserve them because they are moments of sheer beautiful insanity the likes of which have rarely been seen outside the forums. And sometimes they even have STICK FIGURES on them. haha.

We play pranks occasionally, usually on special occasions. And they usually involve our Deputy Principal (she's been here forever; in some ways Miss Pivac is my school) or her car in some way. This year we've pushed it onto the front lawn at the beginning of the year; on her birthday we wrapped it in black tulle with a bow on the top. (it's a Mini. ) And we've done some other stuff I can't remember. It's a form-wide thing, all 75 of us.

Actually, the best prank I've ever played was.. mm, well, perhaps you can't classify it as a prank, because it was cute as well as funny. But on my best frend's birthday I had an orchestra practice in town from nine till twelve, so I decided not to go to school in the morning because, well, I'd be there for about five minutes before leaving. No point. But I did go in after school started and dropped off about eight notes- they had poems and quotes and stuff on them- in her locker, hid them in her books, and gave them to people to give to her. And since I wasn't at school, she continued to be amazed at the way all these notes appeared in her books and on her desk throughout the day... it was brilliant! And it was her 18th, so it had to be.

hee hee, Neanderthal i think... I luffed learning about Neanderthals!!! Evolution was fun.... And everyone liked it so we got to work on it for a longer time and didn't have to work for so long on genetics cuz we wanted to get to disecting. And then there was no time for the human body...
