    Speaking of which, Duncan, your avie is huge! Ask Lee to resize it, please? And I've read the Wheel of Time... it was okay, pretty good, but the later books aren't early so good as the earlier ones.

          Um- PopTart, you know you can go back and edit your posts, so you don't have to do one-liners? Just use the button at bottom right which looks like a pencil and eraser.

                I know I should, but I've given up- we've all tried, we've all talked to him in various different tones- no real results. Eventually he'll see the error of his ways... surely...

                  Z, i'll try to find you a Harry Poter one, I know I sound stupid, haha. Chani, you're very wise. I wonder what its like to have to drink green drinks all the time. I guess i'll never know. What do you all think about sushi? Not nessicarily (however you spell it) the raw fish kind, but the veggie kind too?

                        Tolkien has been dead for some while now...

                        One of his son has been managing the whole LOTR thing. Christopher Tolkien. I think he was the one who organized and published the Silmarilion too but I'm not sure.

                          *laughing* Nah... not me. I have just lived a little longer than most of the people here. I have been married for about 12 years and I have 3 boys. After a while, you just pick up a few things here and there. Actually, book knowledge wise, I have been this way since college. I haven't really had much chance to exercise my brain that way with 3 babies. The youngest is almost 5 now and I am able to have a little more time to myself so that I have the opportunity to add more knowledge.

                          I have always had a pretty large desire to learn as much as I can about whatever I need for life. About 5 years ago, we found out that our second son had Autism and I did just about nothing else besides research regarding it until I felt I had enough tools to cope with him. I recommend that for anyone. Learning is so very important and it doesn't stop with graduation. (Okay.. that is my plug for staying in school!!!)<chuckling>

                          I am sorry if my 'momness' kicks in...<chuckling> can't help it.


                          PS... Sushi.. gross. I don't do raw meat.

                                Loooooove sushi. High art, that is, when done right. Not that reconstituted California/Philadelphia-Roll crap. It's an insult asking a good sushi chef to do that stuff for you.

                                And not everything at the bar is raw. I once got grilled duck at a sushi bar.
