Yes, but it is kind of hard when you have to do so many other things at the same time, like practice (sp) my guitar for class, and work on my english paper and then do my chores and Then cook dinner, I sometimes get to bed at 12. If I am luck I get to bed around 10, but that is only if I am lucky. I am always busy.

It was straiightforward. <Latin Geekery> A really straightforward translation, a pretty easy comprehension, and although my Aeneid _translation_ was hideous (I translatied Aquilinibus as eagles as opposed to the Nortt Wind, and it all went downhill from there... Though I'm pretty sure I got all of Dido's "I beg you through my tears, on your given word, for our union, for our budding marriage, blah blah blah" OK.) I think the actual questions (Why does Dido use hospes here? How does Virgil display Dido' feelings here/ How dos Dido kill herself? (BLOOD, boiling down a sword and bubbling all over her hands on a pile of stuff.)) went quite well.
I thought the translation was.. straightforward is really the only word. It was like they were saying "look, here's a subjunctive! And here's a passive! And, look, here's a deponent verb! And if you know all of those then you can do the translation!" I mean, they even had ut+subjunctive subjunctives. So I feel... good about it, and the same for the comprehension (though I suspect I stuffed up an object and a subject in there somewhere.)
So yeah, feeling good... and I've only got French to go!!!

I know nothing about Latin. I take Spanish, and so far I've got an A+ in it. I love languages. I'm going to get a degree in etymology when I go to college.

*sniff sniff* I got a C+ on my Spanish exam...because I translated this whole list of verbs into their preterit form rather than imperfect...I think I'm going to go brood in a corner muttering under my breath in Spanish.

db: not sure if you check this anymore...but I've been confusing 'pero' and 'sino.' What exactly is the difference? My textbook is Not Being Helpful here.

Sino as prefex is used to be mean Chinese (as in Sino-Indian realations), but I don't think that is what you are after.
Slightly diffenrt problem (maths, group theory):
