Oh. I think I get it. Still. That's better than worrying about 7 classes.

I kind of like having 4 classes at a time, but I kind of don't I would really like to have them all at once and I can't wait till next year when I can leave school for lunch.

Hey, congratulations, melissa! That's really good!

I got me report too recently... pretty good. My favourite comment, from English:
"Tui's esssays are articulate ...(blah blah blah blah... at least she likes my essays!)... despite her execrable writing."

I'm SO proud. My handwriting's EXECRABLE! Isnh't that a neat word?

Yeah. What does it mean? The only comments on my handwriting I've ever gotten is that it's illegible...

It means it's crap, almost literally, as I think it is related to excrement. (Not sure, but it looks like it.) Basically, it means it's shocking; but I love to be criticised in such scathingly erudite vocabulary.

Tui, does that mean the teacher find fault with your style of writing, or the fact that your handwriting is poor? That might be an important point to clarify. I'd rather have bad penmanship than be told my prose stinks.

Actually, Tui, I think it comes from a different root. My Webster's has execrable as "deserving to be execrated", and "execrate" coming from the Latin execratus and the french ex- sacr/sacre (sacred) and defines it as "to put under a curse; denounce; to declare to be evil or detestable."

The other is rooted off "excrete", without the second e.

                    • *snickers* Sorry, I should have been more clear. She means my ahdnwriting. i know my actual writing, that is, what I say, is good. It's just the way I present is... *cracks up again* it's EXECRABLE! I tried to scan some in to prove it, but our scanner's on the blink.. still. I'm sure about this.

*waves at kli* Well, I said I wasn't sure. Cheers!

                          • Hey! Guess what! I finally got my report card back and.... I'm rated number one in my class! I'm so happy! Of course, there's only 32 kids in my class, so maybe it's not that big of a deal. But still... I'm so happy!!!!!
