Can't you all just see Dairine saying that to Roshaun? Even the other way around makes perfect sense! And since we already know #5 is Dairine, doesn't that make it even more possible that it's Roshaun...but in that case, would it be sarcasm or not? Because if it isn't...

Peter- it is so unfunny how much of that chat was unfamiliar. *annoyed* I sure hope I haven't got Chime problems downhere, it would kill me. Anyway, THANK YOU for logging it. You wouldn't happen to have, or know where there are/is kept, a log of the chat before it, would you? Actually, make that a general question...

I assumed you'd already seen that log.

At least two of us tried to log the one before it, but it was moving too fast. So, as far as I know, there is no log of it. This one may only have managed to get logged because of Chime's problems slowing the chat down.

Will it be possible to log this coming Saturday's chat? No idea. I did ask Lee about logs, but apparently Chime doesn't support them - or didn't then. Maybe the new one does?

You know, I like all the new features, I really do. But WHY WHY WHY can't Infopop manage a chat script that actually, you know, works? And, hopefully, logs? It's been done before, it's not like the is groundbreaking territory... *frustrated*

When I said annoyed and new, I meant, there was so much stuff I hadn't seen even of the bits where I was technically still in the chat.

We're going to Baltimore for my cousin's birthday, and to visit a couple museums. So I won't be able to get here. My mom would NOT approve of me getting online in the middle of my cousin's party.



Anyway, maybe at the end of the chat, you could copy it piece by piece and post it in the TOGR? *looks hopeful*

Actually, I wonder if maybe posting logs of the chats (or links to logs) should happen in the Chat Area Info and Chat Times area, maybe as the tail end of Lee's announcement of the specific chat, or as a separate "Logs" thread, so everybody can find it easily?

ToGR makes it really hard to find a specific posting... I do wish sometimes that folks here would learn to post on-topic in threads, instead of by-default dumping into the ToGR.

Lisa, is there anything you want folks who can make it to the chat to ask DD for you? Perhaps... something about the top-ten lines?

I was so tempted to reply to that in TOGR...

The last chat log was about 35K, not including HTML markup. I don't know what Eve's limit is on post length, but that seems rather long. Of course, that's not a problem for links to the log.

Lisa: I'm going to try to copy the chat, the same way I did last time. However, it might not work if Chime isn't being slow.

That sounds like a really good idea- I'm hopefully coming tomorrow, if my conversions are right, so I'll see if I'm able to log as well; Chime may not hate me on this network. I don't have server space, but I can post it in my LJ, so that's not a problem. If two of us are trying to log, at least it means if I stuff up again it won't matter.

I'm also for a log forum.

Lisa, we're sorry you're missing the chat. But hopefully you'll make it next month, right? Besides, we probably won't be on topic much; but if you had a question you wanted to ask we could ask it for you? & copy the answer.
