You always do really short posts and it's impossible to reply!!!! although it looks like you think I was talking about something else, what?

Oh, I don't know, I wasn't really sure. But a post like that manages to sound malicious any way. And I don't do short posts on purpose, in fact, I hate it; but sometimes there really isn't all that much I can say, but I still want to make the comment.

My library only has the sequel, To Visit the Queen, which I have always thought was kind of odd. They also only have Deep Wizardry through Wizard's Dilemma, no SYWTBAW or Wizard Alone.

Hmm. That sucks. I don't think my library has Alone yet either, but fortunatly I knew about Alone ahead of time and so I saved up my money for it and got it the day after it came out. All that I ever spend my money on is books.

I know. I think I'll buy To Visit the Queen from amazon.com (since none of the bookstores seem to carry it), It will be much easier. Did anyone read The Door Into Fire ? Is it any good?

So is this series related to SYWTBAW?

Jen: Yes. The feline wizards novels focus (as might be expected) on cats, but TBONWM actually does have Tom, Car, Nita, and Kit in it. Same universe, same principles of wizardry, if from a somewhat different perspective.

Jen: Door into Fire, though, is not... sadly. *grins* But there are some of the best cameos in TBoNWM:
"You remind me of my sister."
                        "Excuse me, Miss Cream Junkie..."

Heh. Like those cameos, oh yes I do.

*looks rather embarrassed* And I meant Carl, not Car, of course....

...Dairine and Arhu would make for a rather... interesting... combination, wouldn't they? There are certain parallels. *looks mischievous*

I've had the Door into Fire series highly recommended, but haven't gotten into it yet -- should see if there's a copy in the library next time I go. (I should restrict my book-buying for a little while. Not go overboard and all. Even though there's a library sale today. *whimper*)

Ah, there's nothing good in a library sale anyway.

*grins* Yeah, I was _pretty) sure you meant Carl... only Car we've ever met was the one in SYWTBAW, and he's definitely dead.

On The Door Into Fire--I just read it and its AWESOME. *I* think so anyway. Then again, I read too much... But of course I had to get it off linkcat--or was that worldcat? or was it called worldnet? i'm losing my mind...

o-kaay, that was weird. And i sound like a ditz.

It was good. And I think I'd better stop now.:-P
