Going way back...I've had one experience that may have been a ghost that looked like a normal human. I was at my grandfather's funeral a few years ago, and we were all gathered around the grave and I noticed this elderly woman standing right front and center that I didn't recognize. Now, albeit I do have a large Italian family, but when I asked my mother and uncles, they all had no recollection of the woman. What I sort of hesitantly imagine is that it was my grandmother, who died about five years before I was born. I've always felt a particular connection to her-- we share a middle name, and consequently, we have the same initials, and I've inherited an ivory mirror from her engraved with those initials. Not really a conventional "haunting" I suppose, but interesting nonetheless.
